1.) Senior Technician 

 

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Dismantle and assemble parts & equipment such as various types of centrifugal pumps, Mech Seals, and compressors, reciprocating and screw compressors, blowers and others according to operational procedures sheets and drawings.
  • Verify inventory and parts received against Bill of Material per job prior to assembly of equipment.
  • Install piping and set mechanical seals to match drawings.
  • Operate laser alignment tools, condition monitoring equipment, hydraulic torque tools and high-pressure testing equipment.
  • Work with Lead Technician/ Supervisors and lead other team members to carry out complete overhauls or installation and commissioning of various types of centrifugal pumps and compressors, reciprocating and screw compressors in addition to blowers on customer sites either onshore or offshore, this also includes bearings and mechanical seal change-outs.

Competencies:

  • Knowledge of various measuring tools like, Vernier Calipers, Depth caliper/ micrometer, ID/OD micrometers, Dial gauges.
  • Good mechanical ability and manual skillfulness.
  • Basic rigging and crane operation, should be able to prepare a lift plan when required.
  • Knowledge and experience in the maintenance of rotating equipment like pumps, compressors, turbines, gear-boxes etc.
  • Use of machines eg. Lapping tables, Radial drill, Band saw, Surface grinder, Pedestal grinder, Oven, Balancing machine, Seal test bench, Optical flats etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc / HND in any Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 6 - 10 years’ experience as a Senior Technician (preferably in Oil and Gas).

Salary
NGN 200,000 - 350,000 Monthly.

  • Develop sales plan and sales strategy for territory.
  • Ensures attainment of company sales, goals and profitability in consultation with Zonal Sales Manager.
  • Manages sale of the company's products and services in defined geographical areas.
  • Achieve consistent, profitable growth in sales volume and revenue through planning, deployment and management of sales personnel.
  • To develop customer relationship and intimacy across all channels.

  • Assist in processing and replenishing stock at retail end, and monitoring stock levels

  • Well exposed to B2C/B2B Marketing and must have exposure in leading a team of 4-5 people.
  • Excessive travelling is required in and around territory.
  • Well versed with computer to handle weekly/monthly reporting.

Responsibilities

Day to Day Management:

  • To supervise inventories to achieve high service levels, planned inventory turns and minimize slow moving inventory.

  • To execute procurement and deliveries of goods as per the instructions of warehouse Manager.
  • To plan for logistics and deliveries to reduce waiting period and avoid delays.
  • To manage stock control – To do space management, the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry in system.




Customer Relationships:

  • To develop good transporters base, manager transporters relations to ensure to get best prices and services.
  • To ensure deliveries are made within specified time and incase of any delay it is communicated well in advance to concerned team members.

Supply Chain & Logistics Targets:

  • To implement 5S, FIFO and Inventory levels as defined in the Warehouse guidelines.
  • To prepare various stocks reports and submit periodic update to the concerned authority on fast moving, slow moving, non moving, expired and about to expire products and get appropriate decision in time to avoid any losses.
  • To ensure that processes within the supply chain run efficiently and smoothly. It includes monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of the goods.

Reporting:

  • To prepare all applicable reports in time for accuracy and in order to ensure that they match the functional requirements, policies and standards.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree / Master’s Degree.

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities

  • Plant Operation Strategy - To develop plant operations strategy/policy, processes and procedure.
  • To manage the implementation of all the relevant applicable SOP's.
  • To set the direction of the plant operation, forecast monthly production plan, weekly target, and prepare action plans for self and individual team members.
  • The Production Supervisor appointed will be responsible to execute planning and co-coordination at various levels i.e
  • Production Planning, Maintenance Schedule Planning, Inventory Planning (Product & Packaging), Workforce Planning, Shift Planning, Housekeeping Planning, etc.
  • Day to Day Management - To manage the day-to-day operations of the shop floor providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high-performance standards.
  • Day-to-day coordination among various functions for planning, procurement from other plants, production & dispatch planning as per customer requirements.

  • To supervise and enforce quality standards as applicable and work on implementation of GMP, HACCP & ISO.
  • People Management - Manages effective communication by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, providing formal and informal feedback on performance and training needs - in order to maximize subordinate and department performance.
  • Reporting - To prepare all applicable reports in time for accuracy and in order to ensure that they match the functional requirements, policies, and standards.
  • Safety Health & Environment - Ensure compliance to all relevant on-floor/off-floor safety, health, and environmental procedures across the department in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment.

Requirements
Education:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience as Production Supervisor in Food Science Background.

Job Objectives
Plant Supervisor:

  • Job is to supervise manufacturing staff, coordinate and cooperate with the various cross-functional team for smooth operations of the plant.
  • A production manager is responsible for maintaining accurate quality and quantity control to ensure the on-time delivery of produced products in order to satisfy the clients.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Duties include the following, measurable in terms of time, cost, quality, or quantity:
Strategic Responsibility:

  • To set the direction of the plant operation, achieve monthly/weekly/daily production plan, and prepare action plans for self and individual team members.

Day to Day Management:

  • To supervise daily shop floor operations and achieve production targets as specified on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
  • To maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources;
  • To facilitate corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • To ensure shop floor compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
  • To ensure day-to-day coordination among various functions for planning, procurement from other plants, production & dispatch planning as per customer requirements.
  • To plan for Manpower as per shop-floor operations and job allocation for the people on fewer production days.

Operational Targets:

  • To ensure key project tracking on a continuous basis and submit a periodical update to management.

  • To enforce discipline, punctuality, and safety as part of conduct among staff.
  • To do periodic audit inspection and ensure housekeeping, safety, personnel hygiene, and environmental compliance through implementation of EHS.

Key Projects:

  • To follow new projects as and when assigned for improvement and take responsibility for their successful execution after approval from Factory Manager and GM Operations.

People Management:

  • To manage effective communication by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, providing formal and informal feedback on performance and training needs - in order to maximize subordinate and department performance.

Reporting:

  • To prepare all applicable reports in time for accuracy and in order to ensure that they match the functional requirements, policies, and standards.

Safety Health & Environment:

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor's Degree (Paint / Chemicals / Chemistry) with hands-on experience in handling paint/coating shop floor.

Primary Responsibility

  • A Credit Control Manager or Credit Manager or Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for managing a team that recovers unpaid debt / money / outstanding owed to the organization.

Job Description

  • Formulation of the company's credit policy to mitigate unnecessary risk
  • Reviewingcredit applications and credit references to set credit limits and ensure credit worthiness
  • Preparing journal entries, credit notes and assisting with month end
  • Review and report on Aged Debtors
  • Regularly meet and negotiate terms with third party debt collection agencies
  • Manage write-offs, bad debt provisions and setting up of payment plans
  • Assisting the broader accounts team
  • Regularly reviewing the process and procedures to reduce debtor days

Qualifications

  • Minimum of B.Sc. Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or any related field.

  • Previous experience ofend-to-end credit controland accounts receivable processes

  • B.E / B.Tech / Bachelors / Masters – Chemistry, Paint or Chemicals. PG Qualification will be preferred but not mandatory. NACE Level 1 or 2 will be additional qualification who would be given preference.
  • Minimum of 5 + Yrs. of Experience in servicing the Oil & Gas industry with experience in managing the Corrosion Protection, selling paints & providing Technical service to the Marine /Asset Protection in the Oil & Gas sector. Good knowledge about the various coatings their specifications, application etc.
  • Well exposed to B2B Marketing in the Oil & Gas Industry in Nigeria.
  • Excessive travelling is required in and around Nigeria/West Africa.

  • A few years of experience in the development of Marine & Corrosion Protection coatings for this sector will be an additional advantage.
