Job Overview

  • Procurement clerks are responsible for sourcing and purchasing the materials, supplies, equipment, and services that their company needs to operate.
  • Purchasing Clerks compile requests for materials, prepare purchase orders, keep track of purchases and supplies, and handle inquiries about orders. They gather information and records to draw up purchase orders for procurement of materials and services. They make sure that what was purchased arrives on schedule and meets the company’s specifications.
  • Purchasing Clerks respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations. They also monitor inventory, perform buying duties when necessary, and contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries. They compare prices, specifications and delivery dates to assist in determining the best bid, track the status of requisitions, contracts and orders, and calculate relevant costs.

Essential Duties

  • Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.

Job Objectives

  • A service manager manages the service department team and handles customer service interactions, reports, and repairs.
  • The service manager ensures excellent customer service, maintains strong relationships with customers and third-party vendors and ensures repeat customers.

Responsibilities

  • To achieve the highest possible level of customer satisfaction by providing consistent and efficient maintenance and repair services to the vehicles distributed by the company
  • Organize and supervise the activities of all allocated workshop staff in a safe and efficient manner in line with company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure that all repair and service work performed in the Service Department is done in an efficient and correct manner in line with manufacturers’ and company policy and procedures
  • Monitor and improve productive staff efficiency and workmanship sales to a minimum of 80% of available hours.
  • Supervise and monitor the allocation of work to ensure that there are appropriate staff members with sufficient experience and technical ability.
  • Propose, implement and monitor service procedures to improve the quality of repairs and servicing.
  • Implement and maintain the Company’s Group operational practices as defined by management and company policy.
  • Ensure the correct use of all communication equipment and manufacturers’ information by all Workshop staff.
  • Ensure that all service and repair related literature and information are accurate and distributed to the Service Dept. Staff.
  • Complete and submit reports and analysis to management, manufacturers and suppliers in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Recommend improvements in facilities, equipment and procedures within the Service Department.
  • Handle customer service queries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Propose and implement marketing strategy in conjunction with the Parts Officer and Aftersales Manager of branches to increase service department sales.
  • Regularly meet with the Parts Officer to assess and resolve parts and service-related issues, with minutes and action plan formally documented.
  • Monitor and ensure that service department staff request the correct parts at all times.
  • Supervise and monitor locally purchased goods and services ensuring that price and quality are in accordance with the company policy and standards.
  • Promote and maintain a safe and clean working environment within the Service Department.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are used correctly, maintained and accounted for at all times.
  • Ensure that all staff within the department adheres to company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Train service staff to use tools, equipment, manufacturer’s manual and specification etc.
  • Assess and recommend staff departmental training needs and requirements.
  • Always implement ANZEN and KAIZEN principles.
  • Perform any other job-related duties that may be assigned by his/her direct manager

Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related studies
  • Between 6 -10 years relevant work experience in the Automotive Industry is Essential
  • Supervisory/Managerial experience in the Workshop/Aftersales Dept. in the Automotive industry is Essential
  • Strong mentoring, coaching and people management skills

Job Overview

  • Responsibilities include inventory management, parts operations, and ordering.
  • They are also required to track retail budgets ensuring profit, and manage employees of the automotive parts department.
  • They must ensure that replacement parts inventory is maintained at an appropriate level to increase service department efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Many also serve as sales representatives for auto parts, requiring strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective parts processes for both internal and external customers and maintain an inventory for all service departments
  • Design mechanism to monitor inventory of all physical parts and oversee all return processes for parts
  • Manage the complete sales process of parts to boost company’s revenue
  • Analyze demand, prepare sales forecast, and determine re-order level

Job Title: NMC Operator

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Objective

  • To provide first and second level support on all Company’s products and services. To configure, monitor and manage the Company’s Content Delivery Network, to ensure maximum service availability to external and internal customers by providing efficient operations and maintenance support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform network surveillance 24/7, respond to network reported and customer reported problems and manage problem resolution using network monitoring/management tools.
  • Take ownership to ensure that all problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Escalate problems to third level support (Problem management team) where these cannot be resolved within the Network Operations Centre (NOC).
  • Perform general “system administration” tasks on all elements of the network.
  • Perform documented network configuration procedures.
  • Proactively monitor network and system performance.
  • Analyze traffic data and trends and escalate areas of concern to officer on duty.
  • Through proactive and systematic review, discover problem areas which could negatively impact system performance or customer satisfaction.

  • Facilities maintenance (monitoring and management of air-conditioning, UPS, generators, power usage, running health and safety and housekeeping checks at Company’s POPs).

  • QOC metrics per client SLA’s.

Requirements

  • Academic Qualification: BSc / HND in Computer Science / Engineering or other related Course
  • Experience: 2+ years experience as network engineer preferable in an ISP / Telco environment.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, good telephone manner.
  • Practical, accurate and precise.
