1.) Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst

 

Location: Nigeria

What you will be doing

  • To complete all Enhanced Due Diligence checks in a timely and efficient manner whilst adhering to the anti-money laundering regulations, regulatory requirements, and the Firm's Policies
  • Conduct public domain searches for negative information related to customers and associated entities
  • Confirm previously conducted screening, OFAC and Sanctions reviews were appropriately handled and review any pending matches of customers and/or associated entities
  • Review notices for any relevant disciplinary actions and/or negative news
  • Review customer activity, to identify suspicious activity
  • Verify source of funds/wealth information through online searches or other documentation
  • Actively manage and lead processes and tasks supporting the Firm’s EDD program
  • Lead key projects and initiatives related to assessing and mitigating the Firm’s exposure to money laundering and reputational risk-relevant activities
  • Assist in overall management of risk-relevant matters associated with prospective clients identified by the First Line Unit during Client Due Diligence (CDD) and EDD processes to ensure continued knowledge of the existing client base and any material changes to client information

3.) Global Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance

Job Description

  • This position supports the Legal, Risk and Compliance Function, reporting to the CCO.
  • The Global Head of Governance & Risk & Compliance (Global HeadGRC) role is to lead in terms of assessing and overseeing all compliance issues across the organisation this includes providing objective risk assessments of the company's compliance with regulatory, organisational and commercial requirements across multiple jurisdictions including Africa; North America and Europe.
  • The Global Head GRC will form a new function within the Chipper, directing the development and implementation of policies, procedures, frameworks and controls to ensure the organisations practices remain observant to all pertinent local laws and industry standards.

  • Determine and maintain an inventory of all regulatory, commercial and organisational compliance requirements.

What you will be doing
Develop pricing strategies for:

  • Current products (transfers – forex, p2p, crypto, services – airtime, bills, and data, and investments – stocks) including:
  • Optimal product pricing and margin targets

Your Mission

  • Our Mobile Product teams are building the flagship Chipper Cash product as well as entirely new products that the fin tech ecosystem has never seen before.
  • You'll work cross functionally with various designers, product owners & engineers to build and deliver exceptional user experiences and products for our 4+ million Chipper users.
  • Your role within the Mobile Product team will be to help shape and build a best in class crypto currency product for the African and worldwide market while also owning the mobile technical roadmap.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Be an Owner: Own technical implementation and technical roadmap improvements of the Chipper Cash crypto product from the mobile side.
