  • GRA is the implementing partner for a portfolio of survivor-centered projects across 19 local government areas in northeast Nigeria. These projects are strategically funded by a diverse group of international partners: the Mukwege Foundation, the Global Survivor Fund (GSF), the French Embassy, and We Are Not Weapons of War (WWOW).
  • Through these strategic collaborations, we are working to strengthen the network of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (CRSV)survivors by providing integrated support.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that supports GRA's organizational goals.

Job Summary

  • As a Senior Finance Officerat Grassroots Researchers Association (GRA), you'll be a key part of our finance team, crucial for ensuring our financial stability and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations, ensuring they are accurate and timely.

You will be responsible for fostering a culture of professional development, employee engagement, and efficient resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from developing job descriptions and screening candidates to interviewing and onboarding new staff.
  • Oversee employee relations, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Nigerian labor laws and regulationsrelated to compensation, benefits, and leave management.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure a fair and consistent work environment.
  • Coordinateemployee training and development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Provideguidance and supportto staff on all HR-related matters.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the GRA team, including scheduling meetings, managing travel arrangements, and coordinating logistics for staff and visitors.
  • Oversee office logistics, including the procurement of supplies, equipment maintenance, and space management.
  • Manage the administrative budget, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Maintain accurate and organized filing systems(both physical and digital).
  • Draftcorrespondence, presentations, and reports as needed.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the office.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least five years of progressive experience in an HR and/or administrative role, with a strong focus on the full employee lifecycle and office management.
  • Excellent knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience working with multicultural teams in challenging environments.

Most Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing HR and administration for a multi-state organization.
  • Experience with HR information systems (HRIS)and administrative management software.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office(Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong planning, time management, and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented, professional, accountable, and proactive.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
