Job Description
QHSE:

  • Ensures HSE policy fulfillment during his activities.
  • Establishes and maintains a strong safety culture in line with Company HSE Requirements and Rules.
  • Is responsible to ensures compliance with HSE Legislation, Company Standards and Procedures under his area of responsibility to ensure employees safety, legislative compliance, and responsible environment attitude.
  • Ensures compliance with Operating Procedures & Guidelines with the asset to ensure Process Safety, Operational Safety and Plan Integrity
  • Contributes to achieve and improve HSE targets.
  • Performs the updating of technical documentation.
  • Gives his contribution in Hazard Analyses, incident investigations, Root Cause Failure Analyses, process incidents advising his hierarchy about HSE issues and proposing corrective solutions.

Main Activities

  • Overseeing the execution of skilled preventive and corrective maintenance on cranes and forklift trucks, and various mechanical devices. To coordinate preventive and routine maintenance task.
  • Supervising the maintenance shops and conducting ad-hoc studies, STS crane, container handling crane, mobile harbour cranes, RTG's reach stackers, tug master, and other terminal equipment.
  • Maintain and monitor STS/RTG terminal cranes, gantry cranes, mobile cranes etc. Plan preventive maintenance schedules and to carry out daily, weekly, monthly, half yearly and yearly inspection of all cranes.
  • Distribute, monitor and check all maintenance activities and provide technical assistance to the mechanics, technicians and electricians.
  • Install and/or modify mechanical and electrical equipment following proper codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, and other specifications.
  • Assist operational personnel as needed for operational tasks that are needed to successfully support production.




Operations:

  • He/she will be the focal point for all maintenance activities related to pedestal cranes and mechanical handling equipment.
  • This will include all maintenance planning, performance, and execution support to sites across Production & Operations to ensure mechanical handling equipment reliability & availability is maximized to ensure safe, repeatable, compliant, and efficient lifting operations.
  • He/she will Identify maintenance risks, intervene, and escalate potential issues before they impact safety or business performance.
  • He/she will also facilitate and drive continual improvement to maintenance strategies, maintenance metrics, trending & reporting to close gaps and maximise opportunities.
  • Implementation, integration & improvement of maintenance strategies and implementation programmes.
  • Provides deep technical support across P&O and confirms regulatory requirements and all relevant maintenance standards are applied.

Profile

  • Minimum level of experience required: 10 years or more.
  • Significant experience of pedestal crane maintenance, including preventative maintenance routines, work deferrals, work execution & work prioritisation
  • Significant experience and understanding of pedestal crane systems, including PLC systems, hydraulics, hoist winches, pumps, motors, hoist ropes, diesel engines, instrumentation, and control/safety systems.
  • Significant relevant experience and proven track record in mechanical handling maintenance activities associated with major offshore operating production facilities.
  • Relevant experience of offshore pedestal crane operations.
  • Significant relevant knowledge of pedestal crane and lifting national and international legislation, regulations, standards, and practices.
  • Relevant experience of lifting equipment purchase, testing, inspection, and maintenance.
  • Relevant understanding of performance standards and barrier health.

2.) E&I Project Manager

  • In this context, we are looking for a competent and passionate E&I project manager who manages construction and commissioning phases and is responsible for meeting safety, operability, schedule and cost objectives.

  • Previous experience working on a O&G / refinery / petrochemical site with a proven background of successful project delivery.
  • Extensive knowledge of related HSEQ safe working practices/procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction process, it's implementation and management.
  • Fully conversant with project management tools.
  • Ability to react to changing deadlines and achieve project goals / milestones.

  • Very autonomous in your position, you will be in charge of managing the daily client relationship, the scheduling, the organisation, the budget (more than 10 million dollars per year) and will be responsible for the respect of the contractual terms of the project.

4.) Mechanical Deputy Supervisor

Job Description

  • He is responsible for maintenance operations within his field of competence.
  • He ensures that maintenance operations under his responsibility are carried out in strict accordance with the COMPANY’s current safety rules and operating procedures and in accordance with standard industry practice, thereby guaranteeing the quality of maintenance operations, within his field, carried out on site by the Contractor.
  • He guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment he is responsible for on production sites.
  • He plays a predominant role with Supervisor in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training by mentoring on site.
  • Support supervisor on the field & ability to Act as supervisor.
  • Organises on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility,
  • Assists the planning team by giving any technical support for the preparation of the jobs in his discipline.
  • With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
  • Ensures that the COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,
  • Manages interventions using the CMMS and checks intervention reports in the CMMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the technical reports related to his field,
  • Monitors the functioning of utilities and equipment placed under his responsibility,
  • Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams, and actively participates in this himself,
  • Carries out, at the Supervisor request, any intervention within his field of competence.
  • Takes in charge the systems under his responsibility in case of breakdown until correct operation status.




Profile

  • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND / HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent.
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations.
  • Minimum level of experience required: 6 years or more.
  • Leadership competency and Ownership is a must.
  • A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations
  • Specific professional knowledge: SAP/R3 experience and know-how
  • Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams,
  • Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others,

5.) Safety Marine Equipment Engineer - M / F

Job Description

  • We are looking to hire a Safety Marine Equipment Engineer to join our workforce here in Nigeria.

His task shall include:

    • Work closely with JV Field Operations management to manage the operational requirement of all JV Offshore Marine Operations (Equipment availability, spare availability, and personnel requirement)
    • Manage preservation and functional check on mooring package.
    • Manage Hawser assembly survey and replacement.
    • Manage all equipment on the buoy, especially the loading, swivel quick connect hook etc.
    • Manage and responsible for providing the availability of the Tandem package with the QC/DC package.
    • Support Offshore Sites and FSO Unity to meet all marine operational needs.
    • Plan and Prepare OPEX budget for approval with Partners (NAPIMS).
    • Lead in engineering upgrade and standardization of equipment.
    • Liaise with OEMs to resolve equipment malfunction issues as they occur.
    • Analyze the result of condition monitoring data to implement equipment operational and maintenance strategy in line with company policy.
    • Lead in marine equipment maintenance and certification.
    • Prepare a work pack for an overhaul of Topside Marine Equipment.
    • Manage annual certification survey with inspection department to maintain FSO class.
    • Manage offloading hoses string requirement and mooring system.
    • Maintain spare parts inventory and stock requirements for marine operations.
    • Champion maintenance analysis of plan preventive maintenance.
    • Prepare maintenance reports to support top management decisions in investment maintenance policy.
    • Work closely with the procurement team to resolve technical issues surrounding spare part clarification from vendors concerning all marine spares.
    • Assist leader (Head of static and Head of Mechanical) for the updating of the Maintenance Plans, involving procedures drafting, drawings issuance, studies performance, spare parts identification reviews, tools reviews, documentation filing, binding, or data capture in computerized systems.




  • Support the FSO Unity and other Offshore Marine Operations teams as requested in areas of own specialty, including drafting working procedures, and maintenance programmes, and providing associated logistic support. As instructed, develops maintenance methods and tools in own area of competence, analyses the works and practices, and suggests ways of optimization.
  • Performs technical studies in view of improving performance or upgrading the marine facilities.
  • Follows-up the technical problems raised, follows-up the technical and contractual files, as instructed, follows up the warranty claims and the implementation of the corrective actions.
  • Performs equipment performance analysis; develop and put in place enhanced condition monitoring programmes.
  • Follows-up the day-to-day activities of the offshore teams; remains available to provide them the assistance and support as needed.

Profile
In addition, he shall perform the following:

  • Pays regular visits to the offshore site and participates to the jobs as required; may be involved in operational works including major shutdowns. May be incorporated into maintenance working shifts, as required during major operations.
  • Provides assistance and logistic support as required for the provision of resources: vendors, additional manpower, services, tools, spare parts, consumables and other materials. Coordinates the transfer of these resources to offshore.
  • Coordinates as required the repairs required to be subcontracted to external vendors.
  • Attends to materials repairs or inspection in the ONNE base or in Contractors’ facilities.
  • Follows-up into UNISUP, the computerized maintenance management system, the registration of the works, of the consumed materials, of the services, and so on.
  • Follows up the spare parts and consumables consumption, report anomalies and initiates suitable action to prevent a shortage.
  • Reviews the requests for materials, and defines the technical specifications for purchase.
  • Supervises receipt of materials from a technical point of view. Visit the ONNE warehouse when required.
  • Controls the condition of materials in warehouses and acts for improvement as needed.
  • Maintains and updates the technical documentation.
  • Performs periodic and ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Coordinate these actions with concerned staff, from both offshore and onshore sites.

Job Purpose

  • Deliver (Discipline) training to enable a common high level of competence of apprentices, technicians, supervisors, specialists, and graduate engineers.
  • Responsible for the implementation and compliance of the (Discipline) Engineering and Maintenance Team Competence assurance system across the Spie business in all assets.
  • Support line managers in identifying needs and ensuring these needs are met in a consistent and cost effective manner.

  • Develop standards of training, assessment, and competence across all Discipline teams on Site.

  • Support line managers in the identification of training needs for maintenance staff using relevant team matrices or individual profiles
  • Collate Engineering training requests from Engineering teams and send on a quarterly basis to L&D Coordinator for scheduling
  • Assess training needs of Maintenance Technicians to ensure skill base is aligned to Business Demands.
  • Design and deliver training in local area/asset where skilled to do so.
