The team you’ll be part of

  • The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups.
  • While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.
  • This position will report to the Central East West Africa (CEWA) part of the Middle East Africa CX team based in Nigeria.
  • The position will consist of calling on the CSP and ISP customers located in Nigeria promoting the Nokia products and services to our customers in country.

    • Positioning Nokia products and services in the assigned customers

    • Grow the business in assigned region based on assigned sales plan

Your Skills and Experience
You have:

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing in the Hitech industry selling products and software
  • Ability to present solution sales and manage customer relationships
  • Track record of growing sales and promoting new products.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Customer contacts in Nigeria CSP and ISP industry
  • Educational background in Engineering, Computer Science, or related industry

    • Strong background in fronting customer engagement in pre-sales/delivery role. Deep understanding of customer’s business challenges (not just technology challenges) and customer business both consumer and enterprise.
    • Strong ability to get hands on with customer workshops, develop content and lead the teams across functions in a customer engagement.
    • Be able to understand the financials of the business and be a true partner for market leader in driving Order Intake.
    • Have strong understanding of sCRM Forecast Category and Sales Phases and brutal in ensuring pipeline development is on-going round the clock.
    • Have strong collaborative mindset and be able to partner with Market Services in all aspects of business.
    • Bring and maintain technical expertise in MN CSP products and solutions and in Nokia end-to-end solutions involving  CSP products.
    • Lead  CSP customer facing technical engagements, understanding customer business, technical and operational pain points, requirements and KPI’s (use cases, integration points, etc.) and provide subject matter expertise on complex cross-domain solutions.
    • Develop deep understanding of key technology trends (standards, industry events, etc.).
    • Establish trusting relationship with customers C-level technical decision makers, to align on technology needs and roadmaps and identify cross-selling/up-selling opportunities for Nokia.
    • Lead discussions on technical requirements and gaps with Product Managers and System Engineers to ensure customer commitments can be met, during pre-sales engagements and to make sure products and services roadmap align with Market customers’ long-term needs.
    • Lead technical discussions with other Nokia Business Groups and 3rd parties to provide adequate E2E solution to customers. Job Role

  • Customer Delivery Manager (CDM) is responsible for delivery of services for the new accounts where we will need rapid start for delivery, primary focus being Nigeria, but can be any other countries within CEWA (Central East Africa) region.

Mission:

  • Owns the delivery of the entire Customer contract execution scope – products and services - for his/her BG
  • Accountable for revenue and profit in line with Nokia MoO for his/her perimeter within the BG

  • As MEA Optics NPI (New Product Introduction) team as part of the Customer Engineering organization in the Network Infrastructure Business Center, we introduce the latest network technologies to our customers. This is done in the form of lab/field testing, demos, workshops, dry run, proof of concept sessions and network integration services.
