1.) Control Room Supervisor - Golden Fertilizer

 

Location: Kaduna

The Job

  • Monitors the flow of materials in the hoppers to ensure it matches the inputted percentage for all raw materials.
  • Responsible for the bi-monthly calibration of the hoppers to ensure the accuracy of raw materials used for blending or bagging.
  • Delegate team members to oversee the overall cleaning of the machine, from the hoppers to the bagging section.
  • Supervises the activities of the Payloader operators to ensure that the correct materials are placed in the hoppers.
  • Ensure that all batching equipment is in good working order and that the control room is clean.
  • Ensures that the appropriate raw materials are in the designated hoppers before the batching process begins.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and good housekeeping policies in all areas.

Qualifications

  • OND in any related production field.

Experience:

  • 3 years experience in a logistics role or similar function.

2.) HSE Officer - Golden Fertilizer

 

Location: Kaduna

The Job

  • To design, implement, and communicate an HSE management system that meet the requirements of OHSAS ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015.
  • To develop, implement, execute, and manage strategies to prevent workplace injuries and environmental incidents, as well as to meet management's annual HSE performance targets.
  • To prioritize and provide timely advice on OHSAS 18001 standards.
  • Liaise with external bodies on HSE issues for support and collaboration, as well as stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.To oversee the plant's Health, Safety, and Environment program.
  • Facilitate internal audits of safety management systems.
  • To review all safety rules on a regular basis and, when necessary, recommend appropriate changes.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc, B.Eng or HND in Engineering or Environmental Sciences.
  • Occupational Health and Safety qualification (HSE Level 3).

Experience:

  • 5 years experience in HSE from FMCG, manufacturing or Oil/Gas industry.

The Person Must:

  • Have the ability to investigate and identify root causes behind H&S issues/incident.
  • Be able to develop pragmatic options for resolution.

3.) Dispatch Officer - Golden Fertilizer

 

Location: Kaduna

The Job

  • Perform daily reconciliations with the production and commercial departments.
  • Follow up on dispatch feedback and achievement daily to ensure seamless deliveries.
  • Carry out goods receipt for all Transfer Orders to local external warehouses on AX2012.
  • Keep track of trucks are yet to be loaded or dispatched.
  • Create a daily dispatch summary report as well as an EOD report.
  • Track the location and status of field units in order to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
  • Ensure that parallel systems and duplications are eliminated.
  • Ensure accurate data capture.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. / HND in Logistics or any related discipline.

Experience:

  • 3 years experience in a logistics role or similar function.

The Person Must:

  • Have good & effective communication skills.
  • Have analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Good working knowledge of despatch activities.

4.) Payloader Operator- Golden Fertilizer

 

Location: Kaduna

The Job

  • Follow all applicable laws, policies, and procedures when operating all payloaders in a safe and effective manner.
  • Perform regular machine maintenance and safety checks.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections on the excavator and clean, lubricate, and refuel the machinery as necessary or as directed.
  • Ensure that every excavator is stored securely and safely.
  • Participate in the regular upkeep of the payloader machinery.

Qualifications

  • 5 O'Level Credits including English and Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings.
  • A Trade Test or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.

Experience:

  • 2 years cognate experience.

5.) Miller - Niger Mills

 

Location: Calabar, Cross River

Purpose of the Job

  • To  mill efficiently in order to achieve consistent product quality that meet both the customers’ expectations and the company set targets.

The Job

  • Actively participate in wheat discharge operations and prepare raw materials for milling.
  • Coordinate mill maintenance activities and monitor the milling process to achieve optimum performance.
  • Ensure compliance of safety standards within the milling environment.
  • Utilize unique milling skills to troubleshoot, perform adjustments as needed to maintain quality product output.
  • Ensure packing of finished products for effective mill operation.
  • Drive compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management Safety  (FSMS) rules.
  • Perform all other operational and administrative milling tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. / HND preferably in  Food Sciences or Engineering related course.

  •  To develop the blueprint (vision, strategy, objectives, commercial case, operating model, financial model, implementation roadmap as well provide operational leadership for FMN Group Distribution business/initiatives.

The Job

  • Evaluate all viable and profitable options open to FMN Group to fulfill its desire to own/partner with a distribution company to leverage opportunities or collaborate with existing distribution companies and make recommendations based on evaluation.
  • Present a comprehensive feasibility study for establishment/acquisition of a distribution company locally in Nigeria, showing current and future market potentials and how to exploit it.
  • Develop budget and 5-year road map with a detailed execution/operationalization plans with resources and implications clearly identified.
  • Develop the vision, strategy, objectives for the establishment of FMN Group Distribution initiative.
  • Negotiate and implement fit for purpose contracts with DisCos to drive successful outcomes via contractual obligations and operational KPIs.

8.) Legal Officer

 

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Purpose of the Job

  • The Legal Officer shall be responsible for monitoring and/or advising on all legal matters, commercial contracts, agreements and compliance with statutory/corporate governance practices and guidelines as observed in the subsidiaries.

The Job

  • Provide internal advisory services to the business units and departments within the Company.
  • Monitor the maintenance of the registers and other records required to be maintained by the Company under the Companies and Allied Matters Act.
  • Provide all such other administrative and other secretarial duties as directed by the Head, Legal Services/Assistant Company Secretary.
  • Follow up with external solicitors on registration of relevant intellectual property rights of the company.
