1.) Telemedicine Physician

We are looking for experienced, board-certified trained MDs and DOs who are passionate about transforming primary care, have completed or started training in functional or integrative medicine, and with a specialty focus in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Internal Meds/Peds.

Our Comprehensive Medical Services (CMS) team offers the only physician-led comprehensive suite of expert virtual care solutions that lead members to resolution for any medical concern, from the first moment of need.

The ideal candidate for this role is a board-certified medical expert who thrives in a patient advocate role and who flourishes in an environment of curiosity and discovery to best help our members on their medical journeys.

Role:

See patients via telemedicine using the technology platform provided by the practice
Provide excellent, personalized patient care according to the guidelines provided by Vien
Work closely with a care team including a Health Coach to help patients optimize outcomes and achieve their health and wellness goals
Oversee medical staff (including Health Coaches and Medical Assistants) and assign aspects of care accordingly
Comply with all policies, procedures, and protocols of the Practice including assisting other care providers and extended care teams to comply and cooperate with clinical outcome reviews
Participate in patient care program development
Ensure the highest standards in patient care are maintained at all times
Recommend and design treatment plans for patients
Assist in the resolution of patient inquiries and requests
Complete online charts in a timely and accurate manner

2.) Android Developer, Kotlin (x5)

3.) Backend Developer

We are looking for a full-time Backend Engineer to build elegant APIs and evolve our data models and systems architecture in a secure, HIPAA compliant environment. We are a revenue-generating, health-tech startup reinventing the primary care model.

You will develop and evolve the systems which power our business model. Making our billing, medical charting, scheduling, audio and video conferencing and other systems talk to each other. Our unique user data has to be kept secure and available at all times — the patient portal and our business insights depend upon it. We have a fully containerized and distributed infrastructure using MongoDB, Azure app services, deploys happen via Git and CI, and our larger stack that includes React / Redux.

Role

Develop and evolve third-party integrations and systems synchronization
Maintain and add to a service-oriented architecture
Ensure code-quality and availability of our backend infrastructure
Creating new API features to support consumer-facing products
Create routines and data models to support business analytics
Explore promising new technologies to further differentiate our care and product

You

3+ years work experience as a software engineer
BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, relevant work experience and/or trade school is acceptable
Experience developing RESTful APIs in modern web frameworks
MongoDB, CI tools, testing frameworks, and other code quality tools are crucial
Azure/ AWS / cloud-centric development experience is required
Work with modern databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
Our stack uses Node.js, so server-side JS experience is preferred
Strong background with scalable data systems is a huge plus

4.) Frontend Software Engineer

We’re seeking a front-end software engineer to join our project team. You will play a key part in developing the components of a scalable platform that will enable the ability of small practice providers to deliver care to their patients virtually. You are dependable, efficient and routinely deliver the right deliverables having deeply understood the problem at hand. You write simple and readable code and are always looking to improve your own practices.

Responsibilities

Developing features with React/Redux for a browser-based SPA.

Proven skill in responsive web design, social, and other digital platform experiences (jquery/javascript/html/html5/css/css3/scss/sass/less).
Creating reusable components for our in-house React component library.
Writing unit tests for your work with sufficient code coverage (>= 80%).
Fixing bugs and helping to reduce tech debt.
Regularly conducting code reviews on open pull requests.

Experience with Azure DevOps (dev.azure.com or some other enterprise source control).
