1.) FTTH - OSP Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Roles and Responsibilities

Installation of FTTH Home internet services in residential/business premises.
Experience in field survey, fiber laying plan, ducting, trenching, blowing fiber, Splicing of Fiber.
Experience in fiber optic tools: OTDR, Optical Power meter, Optical Laser Source, and testing, etc.
Expertise in handling multi-vendor equipment for hardware installation and troubleshooting.
Audit of outsourced work to meet applicable technical and operational quality standards.
Conduct routine checks of all tools to ensure safety and accuracy of measurement
Experience in providing Technical support for the planning of fiber allocation, duct design (PVC) & Route Design
Acceptance testing of the optical, civil, outdoor network.
Responsible for FTTx network construction in the defined boundary within the project timeline.
Technical auditing and overseeing the contractor for the flawless construction of fiber infrastructure
Responsible for route analysis of underground fiber construction.
Responsible to attending the customer complaints.
Responsible to manage fibre splicing and approve installed fibre as par as build plan and test results.
Responsible to comply with Health & Safety standards.
Responsible for maintenances and Up-keep all records of underground fibers infrastructure, fibre splicing
Plan, passive splitter terminations, and access equipment.
Responsible for service restoration during emergency conditions.

Qualifications

Graduate/Diploma in Electronics & Communications or equivalent.
Understanding in GPON fiber-optic network and service deployment.
Understanding active FTTH equipment (OLT, ONT) and Passive FTTH splitter.
Certification in Fiber Technology is an added advantage.
Knowledge of VLAN and IP’s and IP network structure.
Good knowledge of the Design & Implementation process in FTTX.
Knowledge of fault and performance management process.
Computer proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
In-depth understanding of the outside plant, cable sizing, cable record, etc.

2.) NOC Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

The role will primarily focus on monitoring, assisting with incident resolution, and ensure the high availability of our infrastructure and Network Elements.

Core Requirements and Responsibilities

Proactive monitoring of availability and performance of Network elements, infrastructure, and data center using existing tools.
Act as the First Point of Contact for incidents, escalations, and business-impacting technology issues.
Respond and perform first-level triage of incidents within defined SLAs and work with teams towards resolution.
Assist in performing root cause analysis and root cause fixes.
Escalate to other teams, management, vendors, or service providers for unresolved incidents based on defined processes or instructions from the management team.
Send out regular communication on the status of incidents.

3.) Enterprise Support Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide end-to-end support for Enterprise services in terms of implementation, day-to-day operations and, monitoring and reporting.

Scan vehicles with vehicle scanning equipment to determine status of vehicle
Grow sales revenue and margins within the assigned center
Responsible for the entire sales channel of the assigned center
Plan and execute strategies to generate revenue for the company.
Responsible for end-to-end operational activities of all centers within the assigned territory
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers to expand business within the territory
Comprehensive check of vehicle interior and exterior parts
Direct customers seeking a vehicle identification inspection. Review customer’s ownership records for completeness and to assure all pertinent documentation is included, when necessary, inform customers of additional information needed, and serve as a source of referral.
Following established procedures, conduct on-site identification inspections for local car dealerships, as assigned.
Complete the Statement of Inspection on all vehicles inspected.

Basic Requirements

HND or BSc in Engineering or a Science related field
Experience: 1 - 3 years
Must have completed NYSC
Knowledge of locations of identification numbers and odometer readings on vehicles.
Knowledge of or ability to learn to read odometers and detect questionable readings.
Ability to drive is required
1 to 2 years’ experience on vehicle diagnosis, automotive sales, inspection or repair
Sound Knowledge of latest automobile repairs & best industry practices

Hands-on experience in diagnosing vehicle issues (experience can range from basic to advanced)
