1.) Learning and Development Specialist

 

Location: Nigeria

The Job

  • To ensure the provision of highly skilled manpower through the FMN Academy framework.
  • Implement the evolving learning strategy to ensure a capable and motivated workforce and sustain a learning culture.

Duties & Responsibilities
Design & Build Talent Academy:

  • Contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of the FMN Academy framework and training curriculum aimed at strengthening FMN Organizational Capability.
  • Design and implement effective instructional methods – OJT, Coaching, Job Shadowing, Virtual lessons, etc. within the FMN Academy.
  • Coordinate and Implement all learning activities for all FMN Business Units, supporting employees participating in internal and external learning programs in line with the established curriculum & competency framework.
  • Execute the delivery of all FMN learning content and interventions across all the Business units using the 70:20:10 model to effect blended learning, train the trainer, SME & Managers as internal faculty (for mentoring, coaching & OJT).
  • Implement capability plans targeted at specialized areas/ functional leadership (FLAM, FLAG, ELDP).
  • Phase interventions leveraging innovative and effective learning methodologies & tools to close medium and long-term gaps.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external customers to ensure timely delivery of inputs and eliminate barriers to learning.

Capability Development:

  • Collate and convert Individual development plans into learning interventions working with HRBPs, subject matter experts for different levels of competency proficiencies to close medium- and long-term gap.
  • Evaluate requests for specific training in coordination with FMN Academy Curriculum & Business level competency framework to close medium- and long-term gaps.

Learning System Management:

  • Track and report KPIs (Training budget, TNA, Skills Audits, Learning Intervention & success Matrix). Generate & circulate corporate business training index reports.
  • Analyze cost benefits to execute the best learning delivery channels.
  • ITF applications and reimbursement.
  • Manage vendors for delivery of service, cost efficiency, effective solutions based on the scale.
  • Embed and Sustain FMN Learning culture.
  • Leverage and support HRBPs to build a learning culture
  • Design and maintain effective learning conditions (environment, learning delivery, logistics to eliminate barriers and ensure effective learning in all business areas.
  • Facilitate relevant “in-house” training sessions, both online and face to face.
  • Develop the capacity of other trainers within key teams to support the core training program.

Qualifications

  • University Degree preferably in the Social Sciences.

2.) Assistant Farm Manager - Agri Palm

 

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • Supervision of all Agricultural aspects on Estates (nurseries, land development, harvesting and maintenance activities)
  • Work closely with other supervisors and department heads to maximize productivity and cost savings.
  • Manage usage of fertilizer, chemical and fuel within budget, unless different arrangements have been implemented.
  • Coordinate and manage transportation of plantation workers.
  • Assisting Farm Manager, in preparing budget annual budget and estimates
  • Scheduling and coordinate harvesting and maintenance plans / activities on Estates as per budget.
  • Conduct daily field and nursery inspections with daily feedback to Farm Manager at end of business day or when required.
  • Ensure all activities in Plantations are to highest possible standard for Oil Palm industry.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and promote responsible business operations.
  • Build and maintain professional relationship with all contractors, suppliers, stake holders and host communities.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience in Oil Palm Plantation.

3.) Professional Assistant

 

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Purpose of Job

  • To provide high-level executive support thereby ensuring the smooth running of the Executive’s office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurately store and maintain databases in compliance with internal processes and archival systems.

4.) Assistant Technical Manager - Golden Sugar Company

 

Location: Sunti, Niger

Job Description

  • Are you a hands-on technical engineer with supervisory ability and knowledge of Caterpillar equipment or other heavy equipment?
  • Managed a construction equipment workshop capacity of 200 pcs of mobile equipment.
  • Diagnose problems on vehicle hydraulic systems - hydraulic pumps, cylinders, fittings and hoses.
  • Diagnose problems on the electronic systems enough to be able to guide Auto-electricians in their jobs.
  • Diagnose problems on CAT or other equipment using computerized system (electronic technician)
  • Familiar with CAT equipment, Excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, graders, vibration rollers.
  • Exposed to large tractors up to 550 horsepower and medium tractors of about 180 to 200hp (also John Deere and Valtra equipment)
  • Excellent knowledge of diesel engines, Fuel pumps, Injectors, over heating causes and solutions.
  • Experience in JCB equipment such as back hoes and front bucket loaders and knowledge of tipper trucks.

  • Possess some experience of working with an ERP for stores inventory and purchasing

5.) Treasury Analyst

 

Location: Apapa, Lagos

The Job
Financial Analysis:

  • Performing financial analysis of FMN financial statements (at Group, Parent Company, or subsidiary level) to assess performance, determine potential credit rating, and advise on the appropriate working capital position
  • Providing analytical support during the rating process, including collating responses from various teams as well as reviewing financial statements and internal records to provide information and responses to rating agencies
  • Analyzing financial statements of direct competitors and other FMCGs, to determine FMN Plc’s positioning within the Nigerian FMCG industry
  • Preparing reports on FMN’s share price vs. the competition, as well as significant movements in shareholder composition

Investor Relations:

  • Support with the preparation of a quarterly presentation to stakeholders showing how FMN has performed during the quarter.
  • Liaising with research analysts to get a better understanding of the market perception of FMN
  • Coordinating meetings between Management and investors
  • Optimize FMN’s Investor Relation digital touchpoints e.g. Websites etc
  • Funding Arrangements
  • Providing support in the process of raising subsidized funding, including collating/preparing loan applications, facilitating the execution of loan documentation, and ensuring that conditions precedent to disbursement are met
  • Liaising with commercial banks, development finance institutions, and investment banks to ensure that documentation is delivered in a timely fashion and approvals are received when expected
  • Relating with transaction parties (In the case of capital markets transactions) to provide documents and information required to obtain regulatory approvals
  • Preparing or assisting with the preparation of business plans and/or investor presentations for raising financing
  • Tracking existing facilities to ensure that applications for facility renewals are filed well in advance of expiry dates

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain database of information and documents required by the team for the facilitation of loan applications and related tasks
  • Maintain the team’s filing and document retrieval system
  • Prepare documentation and schedules for submissions to regulatory authorities
  • Any other duties which may be assigned by the Corporate Finance Manager or Group Treasurer

Qualifications

  • First Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
