1.) Team Member, Fintech Engagement

Job Identification: 230
Location: Lagos

Job Description

Collaborate with Product and Marketing & Communications teams to ensure smooth design, implementation and launch of assigned solutions from forged partnerships.
Identify strategic collaborations to support the development of a product’s value propositions and monitor direct and indirect competition.
Active management of collaborations and strategic management of FinTech’s, Tech-startups or vendors to optimize and differentiate the banks products and services.
Planning and managing all product launch campaigns, evaluate and present results, to all stakeholders’ initiatives in the bank.
Organize key initiatives such as Fireside chats, Hackathons and STEM education builders that will help discover new ideas as well as deepen our visibility in the Fintech ecosystem.
Assist in mapping prospective startup ecosystem and strategies for engaging potential FinTech’s and Tech Startups and ensure conceptual agreements are met on both sides.
Ensure regular reviews to ensure the bank is engaging with the right software and digital partners within the tech- ecosystem.

Requirements

First Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Minimum experience - Over 4 years’ experience in business strategy & analysis into consumer facing products.

2.) Wealth Management Specialist

Job Identification: 224
Location: Lagos

Job Description

Advise clients and Relationship Managers to meet the clients’ desired wealth management and investment objectives and therefore increase the bank’s share of the client’s wallet.
Plays a key role in liaising with the RMs in discussing clients’ wealth management requirements as well as ensure flow of product knowledge.
Drive the uptake of wealth products in a client-centric manner.
Support Private Banking and Retail Affluent RMs to drive knowledge of wealth products and sales.
Drive customer experience through quality advice strategy, products offering, RM relationships.
Work with the Team lead, to provide an independent opinion on quality of clients’ existing investment portfolio and wealth needs.
Determine clients’ risk appetite, investment preferences and returns expectations by partnering with RMs in client meetings.
Provision of relevant solutions given client’s needs/objectives.
Liaising with product partners (FBN Quest, Trustees and Insurance) to enhance clients’ experience.

Qualifications

First Degree in any discipline with minimum of 2.2. or Higher National Diploma (HND) with minimum of Upper Credit
4-6 years’ experience in Banking/Finance

Knowledge:

Banking structure, policies and procedures.
Banking services/products
Treasury and investment product
Wealth Management products

3.) Team Member, Technical Infrastructure

Job Identification: 230
Location: Lagos

Job Objective(s)

Ensure IT Infrastructure standards, policies, guidelines and procedures are being implemented by IT management to enable availability of IT services to support the bank’s business objectives.
Provide assurance over the effectiveness of controls on the bank’s technical infrastructure

Duties & Responsibilities

Participates in the periodic audit of the Bank’s Disaster Recovery Infrastructure to ensure its availability and adequacy when the main production facility becomes unavailable.
Represents the Department in Information Technology related projects for quality assurance purposes and provide report to on progress and risk management.
Audit of all IT Operations (EOD/BOD/EOM/EOQ/EOY, Enterprise Data Backup & Restore, Physical & Environmental Controls, SLA, Staff, training, etc.)
Prepare timely, accurate and complete audit query and other audit work papers in line with the Internal Audit Methodology.
Carry out assigned investigations of frauds connected to the use of channels and systems.
Participates in the audit of the Bank’s Network and Telecommunications Infrastructure to ensure protection against a wide range of threats and vulnerabilities.
Assists in the review of the Bank’s Firewalls, Core Switches, Routers, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems to ensure they are adequately configured to prevent intrusions into the bank’s networks.
Executes audit of Messaging Infrastructure (Exchange clients and Servers) to ensure security and efficiency.
Participates in the review of Virtualization Infrastructure to ensure security and availability of the virtualized layer.
Participates in the audit of Antivirus, patch management and other emerging technologies as deployed by the Bank.
Participates in Systems and Infrastructure projects
Maintains the Security of all Information entrusted to the staff
Carry out other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Maintains the Security of all Information entrusted to the staff

Job Requirements
Education:

First Degree preferably in Computer Science or related discipline
Professional certification (CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 20000 etc.)

Experience:

Minimum experience - Minimum experience - 1 year in IT and Audit/Control/Information Security/Information Risk Management and Project Management.

4.) Team Lead, Fintech Engagement

Job Description

Oversee the identification of potential FinTech’s, tech start-ups and ecosystem partners to create value for the banks customers via the most convenient channels and ultimately creating stickiness for the bank’s products.
Drive Identification of specific FinTech’s that will help the Lab fulfil its mandate in building new digital experiences and deepen its visibility in the Fintech ecosystem space while strengthening the bank’s competitive advantage.
Utilize framework of engagements between the FinTech’s and the Bank to harness ideas generated in building new products in the Lab.
Research and information gathering of market trends and needs, evaluate research results to deliver competitive differentiation products that meets the bank’s digital strategic objectives.
Responsible for forging new relationships with relevant external organizations and networks in enhancing value propositions on either current product offerings or new products of the Bank especially with partnerships that require technical integrations: FinTech’s, Hubs, and other partners within the industry.
Work strategically with software and digital partners within the marketplace.

9.) Category Specialist - Technology

Job Identification: 221
Location: Lagos

Job Objective(s)

To support the Category Manager in ensuring that sourcing, tendering and prompt delivery of Technology portfolio (software, hardware, application development and managed services) in line with the Category Strategy
To manage sourcing activities for relevant category and support the implementation of Category Strategies.
To efficiently manage the Bank’s expenditure budget (CAPEX and OPEX) for category related procurement.

Duties & Responsibilities

Implement Technology Category Management strategies and activities across multiple dimensions, including category analysis, contract implementation, and supplier relationship improvement initiatives to increase market competitiveness and sustain ongoing category improvements
Proactively work with Category Manager (Technology) to identify and plan category related procurement activities for the financial year and periodically review category spend to identify and pursue strategic sourcing and demand management opportunities
Execute Go-To-Market strategies utilizing an end-to-end value chain approach -specifically, obtain complete and accurate business requirements from the end users, develop RFx (RFI/RFQ/RFP) documents and identification of qualified vendors; manage source to contract until PO Is created
Collate responses from vendors and liase with the various committee (TEC, PMC) for evaluation
Ensure compliance to the Bank’s Procurement Policy, standards and guidelines for all category related products or services
Conduct vendor contract negotiations with suppliers to procure category related products/services to ensure best value regarding pricing and quality
Ensure adherence to defined parameters for quality assurance of goods/services received as well as the escalation route for complaints/rejection.
Prepare periodic report of trend analysis for procurement volumes and cycles to support the various category management activities
Proactively perform market surveys to verify competitiveness of purchase prices and best value goods specifications for procurement categories
Identify relevant external market trends with respect to the technology industry
Provide input for supplier appraisal via supplier audits, performance evaluations etc. to validate ability of suppliers to meet defined standards and rate suppliers accordingly
Collaborate with centralized admin for invoicing and payment of suppliers and resolve or escalate identified issues (if any)
Supervise and coach Category Analysts
Undertake any other responsibilities as requested by the Category Manager in accordance with the scope and responsibilities of the role
Comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Hand book of the Bank

Job Requirements
Education:

B.Sc (First Degree) Social Sciences. Higher Degrees/Professional Certifications (an added advantage).
Minimum of CIPS Diploma or relevant certifications (CPIM, CPP, CSCP)
