1.) Vessel Operations Coordinator

Location: Nigeria

Job Descriptions
The candidate to handle vessel operations:

To ensure operations activities are carried out in good order
To ensure stevedores are well kitted with their PPE always
To ensure vessels are registered before the commencement of operation
To ensure stowage plans are ready before vessel operation commences
To ascertain the cargo to be discharged is to berth in Lagos.
To check or reconcile with the Chief Officer if cargo meant for our terminal has been completely discharged.
To ensure batteries and mechanic are on ground before the commencement of ship operation
To ensure gears are available for vessel operations
To ensure safe discharge of vessels
To ensure compliance of safety rules & regulations
Planning of vessel operations before arrival
To ensure inventory of gears in the store are taken quarterly and forward report to management.
To ensure daily report of operations is sent to the supervising manager.
Assist in the pre-operation activities prior vessel arrival.
Any other job as may be assigned by the management.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree / HND qualification.

2.) Managing Editor

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

Approve and edit editorial content
Coordinate the distribution policy of the journal in bookshops, hotels, airlines, individual and corporate subscription.
Manage the on-line distribution of the journal
Coordinate the advertisement sales team to ensure sufficient procurement of adverts from corporate organization, in time, develop the distribution channel
Coordinate editorial publications and meetings
Create and employ various marketing strategies in order to get more people to read the published content.

Requirements

A graduate of a relevant course of study
10 years cognitive experience in any of the newspaper houses
Must have experience as a Business Editor in any of the reputable newspaper houses.
Strong Communication Skills (Written)
Attention to details
Exceptionally ability in copy write and editing
Excellent organizational and people skills

Locations: Lagos and Port Harcourt - Rivers

Summary of Job Description

The job entails imparting Technical knowledge to skilled and unskilled trainee, theory and hand-on in the area of Mechanical, Electro-mechanical via the use of modern Training aids, software, simulators and hands-on equipment.

Other Responsibilities

Ability to facilitate Technical hand-on Training.
Implement Mechanical & Electro-mechanical Trainings and projects.
Developing & updating new Mechanical and Electro-mechanical courses and course manuals.
Building Mechanical & Electro-mechanical Trainers to facilitate Training programmes
Research software on-line to facilitate Technical Training programmes.
Be part of the research and development team in Mechanical related project and Training.
Ability to work under pressure and tight reporting schedule
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Readiness to travel for in-plant Training.
Ability to multi-task.

Qualifications

Mechanical Instructor will have over 2-5 years’ skill and competence in Mechanical Engineering.
Must have been part of a Mechanical Engineering projects.
B.Sc. / B.Eng. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related fields.
Ability to design Training materials and Trainers.
Minimum of 30 years old.
Over 2 years hands-on training and facilitation experience & presentation skills
Must be skilled in relevant software applications and use.

Qualifications
The Senior Mechanical Instructor should possess the following qualifications:

Senior Mechanical Instructor will have over 5-8 years’ skill and competence in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering and must have handled some Mechanical Engineering projects.
B.Sc / B.Eng / B.Tech and M.Sc in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related fields.
Over 3 years hands-on training and facilitation experience & presentation experience.
Ability to design world-class Training materials and Trainers.
Must be skilled in practical & field experience with direct applications of relevant software.
Minimum of 35 years old.
Over 3 years hands-on training and facilitation experience & presentation skills
Must be skilled in practical & field experience with direct applications of relevant software.

6.) Senior Business Development / Center Manager

Location: Ogun

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification
The suitable candidate for this position must be a result oriented person with strong business development skills who understands the Otta and Agbara territory very well and with strong contacts with the HR / Training and Engineering Managers / Heads.
Preferred candidate should have an engineering degree with degree as well as professional business development knowledge.
Experience of not less than 10 years in consulting especially technical training.
A good understanding of budgets, profits and performance management is necessary.
Successful candidate will lead the business development of one of the company's branches with strong leadership skills.
Candidate should be resident around Ota, Ogun State or environ.
Experience in managing a successful Technical Training Company is an advantage
Others with other qualifications, but who have experience, managing a successful engineering training / consulting practice will also be considered.

He/She will have very strong business development skills across the public/private sectors and extensive experience in supervision of and Management of HR, Organizational Development, Learning and Development and Executive Search mandates.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an individual with upwards of 15 years relevant experience of which the last 5 years must have been in a well-structured consulting practice.
The candidate will be a University Degree holder at Master's Degree Level in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline in addition to professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, etc)
He/she will have strong leadership and management skills and be able to show evidence of principled leadership, budget and revenue performance.
The appointee will lead from the front in multidisciplinary business development across the private and public sectors
As well as the multilateral sectors of the economy.
