1.) State Business Manager

Locations: Borno, Yobe - North Region

Job Purpose

  • To plan, monitor and ensure achievement of customer and revenue market share objectives set for state operations by supervising/ influencing multiple teams to deliver operational excellence in network operations, customer service, channel management and market expansion.

Key Accountabilities

  • Increase Revenue earning customer net additions – Prepaid & Postpaid
  • Increase Revenue from the State
  • Expand distribution Width and Depth
  • Network Optimization
  • New Sites ROI and deployment
  • Identify and formulate Customer Service Delivery Strategies to help improve Customer Satisfaction scores

2.) Regional Distribution Manager

Location: Kano, Nigeria

Job Purpose

  • To implement planned mobile financial services, go – to market strategy in assigned location.
  • To strengthen and deepened the mobile financial services ecosystem through distribution excellence to grow usage and deliver customer and revenue market share objectives across assigned locations.
  • To achieve maximum sales profitability and growth within the assigned market through implementation of planned sales & distribution and marketing strategies
  • Responsible for the full operation of mobile financial services in assigned location by coordinating all activities, supervising and influencing multiple teams to ensure that operational excellence and performances are met.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design parameters and strategic planning (work plan, customer forecast, target objective, mission briefs) and delivers GTM strategy
  • Leading people/team to pursue and achieve the desired business objectives in accordance with established plans, sales goals and schedules
  • Develop and motivate partners and agents to reach their sales and business targets

3.) Lead Information Security & Business Continuity

Purpose of the Job

  • Bharti Airtel intends to protect its business sensitive information by implementing the controls pertaining to People, Process and Technology. These are achieved by implementing information security policies, procedures and practices within various business processes, product/services and employee activities across all functions and lines of business.
  • This job is required to ensure the on-ground enforcement and continual monitoring of security operations within all Airtel functions, strategic partners and other third parties in the defined OpCos.
  • It encompasses security operations within Data Centers, providing support for managed security services and New Product Development (NPD); supporting business and technology teams by evaluating security related aspects of critical services such as Airtel Money; assessment of the solutions and services platform ; monitoring of ongoing IT & NW security projects; application security; facilitating Internal and External IT audits & helping the operations team during on-ground closure of the audit observations.
  • Carry out investigations and forensics; assessment of the risks that may lead to breach of confidentiality and business disruptions; implementing process/technology controls to mitigate the identified risks; closely interacting with respective security heads in other OpCos; reviewing fraud management activities done by operations teams.
  • Collaborating with functions to roll-out security policies and procedures; ensuring availability of appropriate security IM, GSDs, and system-level implementation procedures in association with system-owners; owning the responsibility of ensuring ISMS implementation and successful certification (ISO 27001 or 22301) once undertaken in the Airtel locations.
  • Reviewing functional implementation of security through ISWG and respective function heads within OpCos.
  • Mitigation of the risks that may arise out of Third Parties and eventually ensuring compliance to BTSP; preparing the dashboards for top management review
  • Managing the OpCo-wide security override function, according central security approvals after evaluating associated risks; supporting BCP/DR activities; ensuring implementations of security controls at the critical processing areas such as shared services; monitoring compliance artefacts supporting partner security SLAs; and institutionalizing Customer Privacy Framework.

Skills and Qualifications

  • BSc Computer Science/Technology/Engineering or related discipline
  • Security Certification preferred (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CEH, etc.)
  • 10 to 15 years relevant experience
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of Information Security standards, policies, controls and structures prevalent in the telecom industry along with Africa operating environment.
  • Extensive experience in handling information security operations or consulting for large and geographically dispersed organizations.

4.) Packet Switch (PS) Core Operation & Maintenance Engineer

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • This function is expected to act as the representative for technical and functional requirements in the area of Access Agnostic Packet Core (AAPCN) solutions to support both Mobile and Enterprise services. The role will define the optimal topology of the AAPCN network to meet a premium service level agreements and industry architecture for next generation EPC and its environment.
  • This role provides Level-1 support to the function with hands-on knowledge and experience on the nodes and ensures FTR configuration.

5.) Area Technical Officer

Location: Lagos

Purpose of the Job

  • To coordinate, control, manage, support and track day-to-day network operations in the Area to ensure optimal network availability, coverage, maintaining target network KPI’s to deliver plus one network quality and customer focus
  • Providing local network support for both the Sales and marketing team in the Areas to ensure the overall network management and quality

  • Network Interface to both internal and external stakeholders especially Commercial teams to ensure customer issues are resolved within acceptable KPIs.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Telecoms Engineering (Master's Degree in Engineering a plus)
  • Sound knowledge of Mobile Network O&M
  • Cross-functional knowledge of Telecommunications Network
  • 5-10 years of varied experience in operation and maintenance in the Telecom industry

6.) Geo Marketing Lead

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Purpose

  • This role will manage sites and shop roll-out planning based on GIS and LandScan Map tools, manage planning across all technologies of 2G, 3G and 4G, responssible for updating all geography related information in BI and other associated platforms.

Key Accountabilities
Manages site roll-out planning based on GIS and LandScan Map tools:

  • Would be required to spear head the site roll out process from the commercial team
  • Provide adequate information for the processing of ROIs for all sites
  • Provide validation and updates to the site master list shared from the network team

Manages shop roll-out planning through these tools:

  • Provide insights and direction in the planning of all shop infrastructure in regards to adequate covered population and current site info
  • Provide insights and direction to the sales team to aid their decision making process in planning their infrastructure

Updating of all site related information in BI and other associated platforms:

  • Providing the BI and IT teams with all relevant site information on time and in full to aid in reporting or the business

Reporting analysis and Insights:

  • Make available all reports as at when due to relevant stake holders. Periodic reports like mapa and site wise KPI reports and ad hoc requests as at when due/requested.

Qualifications

  • Bsc. in Geography, Engineering or relevant fields

7.) Head, Retail Showrooms and Franchise

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers (South Region)

Job Purpose

  • To manage the Retail Stores and Franchise rollout for the Airtel Mobile Product & Service offering within the Opco to increase market share in your Channel through sales , marketing, promotions and customer service.

Key Accountabilities
Business planning:

  • Manage Franchise/Retail Store rollout within the Opco
  • Compile Franchise/Retail Store Mobile Business Plans – outlining attainment of targets.

Franchise Selection and Governance:

  • Design franchise selection framework

Performance Management:

  • Define performance standards across retail footprint
