Job Purpose

  • The role will be charged with ensuring Network Security.

Responsibilities
Ensure Compliance to Airtel Africa Information Security Policy (AAISP) as relates to Network:

  • Implementation, Compliance and Controls of Networks related AAISP

Partner Management:

  • To work with Network Managed Services partners to ensure their compliance to AAISP in regard to Airtel Business

Security of Physical Asset:

  • Airtel network physical assets at MSC locations and data centres, working through Facilities of SCM
  • Physical cabling and device security within the core nodes working with MS partners and Networks Core team
  • Physical security of assets at sites, working through Operations team and Tower co partners

Requirements / Qualifications
Educational Level & Functional:

Must have:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Telecom or Electronics or equivalent
  • Certifications in Network security
  • Certifications in Cyber security

Working Experience:
Must have:

  • A minimum of 10 years or more of work experience in the Telecoms environment
  • Must understand telecom NMS and OSS
  • Should have experience in GSM and WCDMA domains through telecom experience. LTE experience will be an added advantage
  • Should understand Telecom billing and Revenue assurance activities

Job Purpose

  • To plan, monitor and ensure achievement of customer and revenue market share objectives set for state operations by supervising / influencing multiple teams to deliver operational excellence in network operations, customer service, channel management and market expansion.

Key Accountabilities
Increase Revenue earning customer net additions – Prepaid & Postpaid:

  • Identify and formulate state sales strategies to help Drive gross additions

Skills and Knowledge

Key Accountabilities

About the Job

  • Ensure the integrity of all rates and all rating systems on the network for all prepaid products with a bid to maintain no revenue leakage on the network and to support revenue savings in the business.
  • Also providing the business relevant suggestions to support revenue growth and assurance.

Key Accountabilities

  • To ensure no revenue leakage relating to configured rates on the network by validation of all configured rates against the approved business documents and NCC approval
  • To carry out regular checks on the SDP tariff table for all configured tariffs/rates for both voice calls and sms’s on the network.
