1.) Customer Service Representative

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team.
  • The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive exceptional service and satisfaction throughout their shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Service:

  • Greet customers warmly and offer assistance promptly.
  • Listen carefully to customer requests
  • Provide knowledgeable advice to customers
  • Upsell and suggest alternatives
  • Handle complaints or returns professionally and resolve issues quickly.
  • Take special or bulk orders accurately and ensure proper follow-up.

Product Preparation & Presentation:

  • Communicate customer orders clearly to the production team.
  • Ensure products are weighed, priced, packaged, and labelled accurately before delivery.
  • Maintain attractive product displays and ensure counters are well-stocked.

Sales & Transactions:

  • Operate the cash register/POS system efficiently.
  • Process payments (cash, card, etc.) accurately and issue receipts.
  • Follow up on outstanding customer payments regularly.
  • Handle customer orders and invoices for catering or wholesale clients.

Teamwork & Shop Operations:

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues (butchers, cashiers, delivery personnel).
  • Monitor customer orders and report shortages or unavailable items.
  • Support daily opening and closing duties, including cleaning and cash balancing.
  • Participate in store promotions or seasonal campaigns

Requirements

  • OND / HND / B.Sc. Degree in any related field.
  • 2 - 3 years of proven experience in customer service, preferably in a food retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
