1.) Specialist - IT & Product Control

Job Title: Specialist - IT & Product Control

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Purpose

  • The IT/Product Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing the integration, management, and optimization of banking products and IT systems to ensure no deficiencies in the product or system, seamless operations, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain the integrity of financial data, manage system controls, and implement technology solutions that enhance product efficiency and security.
  • The job holder plays a critical role in mitigating risks, enhancing user experience, and supporting strategic initiatives to drive the bank's technological and product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement robust internal control frameworks for IT systems and banking products.
  • Maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
  • Regularly review and update control processes to address emerging risks and technological advancements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT systems and banking products.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to manage operational, financial, and compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with risk management and compliance teams to ensure alignment with the overall risk strategy.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of IT systems and product controls to identify proactively loopholes and vulnerabilities and provide assurance.
  • Monitor compliance with internal controls and report findings to senior management.
  • Work closely with IT, product development, risk, compliance, and audit teams to ensure the cohesive implementation of internal controls.
  • Lead investigations into control breaches, IT security incidents, and product-related issues.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified control weaknesses.
  • Ensure timely reporting and resolution of incidents to minimize their impact on the bank's operations.
  • Conversant with IT, credit, Treasury, and e-product testingSupport user administration and management.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Candidates should possess a First Dgree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), or equivalent are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience within FinTech or Banking Operations
  • Experience in data analysis and management, business performance management, or reporting within the fintech, financial sector, or banking industry
  • Experience working in a medium- to large organization
  • Experience in e-commerce and electronic payment business is advantageous.

2.) Security Engineer (Application & Database Security)

Job Title: Security Engineer (Application & Database Security)

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

  • To secure enterprise applications and databases by embedding security in the software development lifecycle and managing secure configurations of data systems.
  • The role focuses on identifying vulnerabilities, enforcing secure coding practices, and protecting sensitive information stored in databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform application security assessments, including code reviews and dynamic/static testing.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security into the SDLC (DevSecOps).
  • Implement database security best practices, encryption, and access controls.
  • Monitor application and database logs for anomalies and suspicious activity.
  • Address and remediate vulnerabilities in collaboration with development and DBA teams.
  • Assist in developing and updating secure coding guidelines and technical standards.
  • Stay updated with emerging threats and attack techniques related to applications and databases.
  • Conduct database vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Relevant certifications is an added advantage.
  • Experience:· 5+ years of experience in application security or database security roles.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps integration and CI/CD pipeline security.
  • Practical Experience with security tools such as SAST, SCA, DAST, WAFS, and DAMs.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, database security, and encryption technologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as eMAPT, eCPPT, ASCP, CEH, OSCP, or CSSLP are a plus.

3.) Specialist - Systems Audit

Job Title: Specialist - Systems Audit

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

  • To provide independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness, efficiency, and security of the organization's information systems, IT infrastructure, and technology- related processes.
  • The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and report on risk-based IT audits, including systems audits, cybersecurity assessments, and application controls reviews.
  • Assess the design and operating effectiveness of general IT controls (GITCs), automated application controls, and data integrity.
  • Evaluate the security and integrity of systems and recommend improvements to mitigate risks.
  • Participate in integrated audits with the business and financial audit teams to assess IT dependencies in business processes.
  • Identify control weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies in line with industry best practices and business objectives.
  • Assist in the audit of IT projects and systems development lifecycles (SDLC) to ensure adequate controls are embedded from the onset.
  • Conduct follow-ups on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation by relevant units.
  • Collaborate with Information Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to address identified vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technology, risks, and control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and timely audit reports and present key findings to stakeholders.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP are highly preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT auditing, information security, or technology risk management
  • Experience in conducting systems audits and application control reviews in regulated environment (e.g., financial services, telecoms, fintech)
  • Strong knowledge of IT controls, ITGCs, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies
  • Proficiency in using data analytics tools (e.g., ACL, SQL, IDEA, Power BI, Excel) for audit testing
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, core banking systems, or mobile money platforms is ar added advantage
  • Exposure to IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL)
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., CBN guidelines, NDPR).
  • Experience working in an agile or DevOps environment.

4.) Head - Sales & Distribution

Job Title: Head - Sales & Distribution

Location: Lagos

Mission

  • The Head of Sales & Distribution is responsible for executing the OpCo’s sales strategy and overseeing distribution across the regions.
  • The jobholder will drive revenue growth, optimize market penetration, and ensure the seamless distribution of financial services and products.
  • This role is accountable for the development and execution of sales strategies, effective trade marketing, channel expansion, and overall performance management of sales and distribution functions.

Responsibilties
Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the OpCo’s sales and distribution strategy to drive financial services penetration and market expansion.
  • Define and implement innovative sales, trade marketing, and distribution strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify and optimize route-to-market approaches for customer, agent, and merchant acquisition and engagement.
  • Align sales and distribution plans with overall business goals and digital transformation initiatives.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Lead sales initiatives to increase market share, revenue, and profitability across all regions.
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth through effective sales strategies and trade execution.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of regional marketing and trade activities to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Conduct data-driven sales forecasting, demand planning, and performance analysis to ensure achievement of business targets.
  • Manage and optimize sales channels, ensuring consistent and effective execution across all regions.

Distribution and Channel Management:

  • Oversee the distribution of financial services products through various channels, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Expand and strengthen agent, merchant, and partner networks to enhance service accessibility and market coverage.
  • Ensure optimal performance of sales and distribution teams through structured training and performance management programs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, agents, and merchants, to drive business growth.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards across all sales and distribution activities.
  • Implement risk mitigation measures and internal controls within the sales and distribution function.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies while adhering to governance frameworks.

People Leadership and Performance Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and distribution team to enhance capability and performance.
  • Establish clear performance objectives, KPIs, and accountability frameworks for the team.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture through coaching, training, and continuous professional development.
  • Drive team motivation and engagement to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue growth and sales performance against targets
  • Market penetration and customer acquisition metrics
  • Efficiency and effectiveness of sales and distribution channels
  • Customer satisfaction and agent/merchant engagement levels
  • Compliance with regulatory and operational standards.

Requirements
Education:

  • Degree in any related discipline or its equivalent in area of specialization
  • Relevant post graduate qualification is an advantage.

Experience:

  • 10 to 17 years’ total experience in a similar position with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Experience in Fintech, banking or Telecom is preferred
  • Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise with a good understanding emerging markets is preferred.
