1.) Use Case Acceleration Lead
Job Title: Use Case Acceleration Lead

About the Programme
- Hosted by Lagos Business School and funded by the Gates Foundation, the Nigeria AI Scaling Hub (AISH) is a flagship initiative designed to catalyse the country’s Artificial Intelligence ecosystem.
- AISH serves as a bridge between global best practices and local impact, addressing critical gaps in high-performance computing, technical talent, and regulatory frameworks.
- Our mission is to operationalise Nigeria’s National AI Strategy by validating and scaling AI solutions that are responsible, inclusive, and high-impact.
- Focusing on priority sectors such as maternal health, malaria prevention, and education, the Hub unites government, the private sector, and academia to transform pilot concepts into sustainable national solutions.
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will manage the innovation pipeline. The journey of the solutions will be overseen from “problem definition” to “scale support,” specifically focusing on prioritised high-impact use cases, such as maternal health and agriculture, including the following:
- Pipeline Management: Coordinate the sourcing, vetting, and scoring of AI solutions.
- Pilot Execution: Oversee the pilot support phase, ensuring innovators have resources to succeed.
- Problem Framing: Lead sessions to ensure selected AI solutions genuinely address user needs.
- Scale Pathways: Design execution pathways for validated solutions to achieve mass adoption.
Qualification and Experience
- The Use Case Acceleration Lead should possess a relevant Bachelor’s Degree and certifications, as well as experience in product management, innovation acceleration, or venture building, and a technical understanding of AI/ML development lifecycles.
The competencies required are:
- Product Management: Knowledge of agile development, MVP definition, and product lifecycles.
- Design Thinking: Ability to facilitate “problem definition” and “opportunity framing” using human centred design principles.
- Analytical Evaluation: Competence in assessing the technical feasibility and potential impact (complexity scoring) of proposed AI solutions.
- Coaching & Mentoring: The ability to guide innovators and startups, helping them navigate challenges without doing the work for them.

2.) Stakeholder & Communications Specialist

Job Description
- The Stakeholder & Communications Specialist will serve as the primary bridge between the Hub and its diverse ecosystem.
- The candidate will mobilise resources and align interests by formalising relationships with government agencies, donors, private-sector entities, and civil society.
- Additionally, you will drive the Hub’s narrative, ensuring that the responsible, inclusive, and impactful vision is effectively communicated to all audiences.
Essential Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Management: Build and sustain relationships with key partners (Gates Foundation,
- Government, Tech Giants) to ensure alignment with national policy and the Hub’s strategic priorities.
- Ecosystem Engagement: Facilitate the multi-stakeholder partnership framework, ensuring active participation from the diverse stakeholder groups that attended the Visioning Workshop.
- Strategic Communications: Develop and execute a communications strategy that highlights the Hub’s impact on national priorities (e.g., maternal health, education).
- Resource Mobilisation: Support the Hub Director in engaging funders and donors by articulating value propositions and impact stories.
- Event & Workshop Coordination: Lead the organisation of high-level stakeholder convenings, similar to the Abuja Visioning Workshop, to maintain ecosystem momentum.
Requirements
- Strategic Storytelling: The ability to translate complex technical AI concepts into compelling narratives for non-technical policymakers and donors.
- Political Savvy & Diplomacy: High emotional intelligence to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics between government, academia, and the private sector.
- Crisis Communication: Ability to manage sensitive information and mitigate reputational risks in a high-visibility project.
- Cross-Sector Fluency: The ability to speak the “languages” of both the development sector (impact, theory of change) and the corporate sector (ROI, scalability).
- Experience in corporate communications, public relations, or stakeholder management within a development or technology context.
- Strong writing skills for drafting policy briefs, press releases, and donor reports.

Job Description
- The Enabler Coordination Lead (Private Sector) is responsible for addressing the critical gaps in high-performance computing and talent deficiencies identified in the blueprint.
- The candidate will secure and manage access to technical infrastructure and expertise by partnering with technology providers and industry associations.
Responsibilities
The candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Negotiate and coordinate access to high-performance computing (HPC) resources and cloud infrastructure for Hub pilot projects.
- Act as the liaison for technology providers (e.g., cloud providers, AI labs), infrastructure partners, and industry associations.
- Collaborate with private sector entities to unlock access to proprietary datasets required for training AI models in priority use cases.
- Coordinate with industry partners to provide technical mentorship and implementation strengthening for the Hub’s pilot solutions.
- Work with venture capital and private equity networks to define scale support pathways for successful AI solutions exiting the pilot phase.
Requirements
The candidate should possess the following competencies:
- Technical Fluency: A strong grasp of the AI infrastructure stack (Cloud, GPU computing, APIs) to effectively negotiate with tech providers.
- Deal Structuring: Competence in drafting and managing MoUs, SLAs, and partnership agreements with corporate entities.
- Network Orchestration: The ability to connect disparate actors (e.g., a local startup needing computing from a global cloud provider) to create value.

- The Engendering the Nigerian Financial Services Ecosystem (ENFSE) initiative is a multi-year institutional change programme hosted by Lagos Business School. The programme seeks to advance women’s leadership and inclusion across Nigeria’s top commercial banks by strengthening governance, leadership pipelines, organisational policies, and accountability mechanisms.
- Working with bank CEOs, regulators, professional associations, and development partners, ENFSE focuses on embedding gender-inclusive practices into the systems that shape leadership progression, performance management, and workplace culture in the financial services sector.
Job Description
- The Programme Officer – Delivery & Coordination supports the effective day-to-day execution of the ENFSE initiative.
- The role focuses on programme coordination, workstream tracking, and operational delivery support, ensuring that plans translate into timely, high-quality outputs across multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Programme Coordination: Maintain and update the Year 1 workplan and Gantt chart; track deliverables across workstreams and flag risks early.
- Operational Support: Coordinate meetings, workshops, and engagements with relevant stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Support: Assist in preparing briefing materials, agendas, and meeting notes.
- Delivery Support: Support logistics and coordination for leadership and HR capacity-building activities.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare internal progress updates and contribute input to donor and governance reports; maintain organised programme records.
Qualification and Experience
- This is a hands-on delivery role, designed for a mid-level professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Business, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field, with 1–3 years’ experience in project support, programme coordination, operations, or a similar role.
