1.) Head of IT
Job Title: Head of IT
Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full Time
What are your tasks?
- Responsibility for the security of IT systems and data
- Ensuring a stable and secure IT infrastructure
- Budget responsibility and responsibility for IT resources, including hardware, software and personnel
- Liaising with other departments and external IT service providers
Responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and IT applications - IT strategy development and implementation
- Optimisation of IT processes
Job requirements
What skills must you have?
- At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or business administration
- Experience in leadership and project management
- At least 10 years' experience in a similar role, ideally as Head of IT
- Several years of practical experience in IT management
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, IT infrastructure, IT support and IT application and solution area
- Experience in employee management
- Fluent language skills in German and English (C1).

Job Title: Team Leader, IT Infrastructure

What Are Your Tasks?
- Development, implementation and maintenance of an efficient infrastructure for data centres, communication networks, power supply and cooling
- Management of IT assets
- Monitor, identify and resolve production capacity, conflicts and resource deficiencies
- Implementing backup strategies and disaster recovery plans
- Implementing, supporting, monitoring and maintaining infrastructure software platforms
- Ensuring the highest levels of availability, reliability and performance for virtualisation platforms and associated products.
Job Requirements
What skills must you have?
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or business administration or a comparable education
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of:
- Power supply, cooling and fire protection systems
- Server management - hardware and virtual systems
- Storage management and technologies
- Backup installation and management with Veeam and Backup Exec
- Disaster recovery
- Operating systems - VMware, Windows, Unix
- Very good knowledge of network concepts such as LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching and firewall configurations.
- Expert knowledge of server administration (Windows, Linux) and storage solutions (SAN, NAS, cloud storage)
- Fluent language skills in German and English (C1)
- Strong analytical skills.

3.) IT System Administrator / IT Coordinator
Job Title: IT-System Administrator / IT-Coordinator

What are your tasks?
- Support and coordination of external service providers and contractors
- Coordination of all operational systems such as AMS, SAP system and Share Point
- Monitoring of the IT systems
- Administration of applications (plan-build-run) incl. technical support
- Infrastructure support (WLAN, LAN, WAN, network, mobile communications, patch management, monitoring, etc.)
- Collaboration in change/incident and problem management
- Participation in the further development of security solutions
- Setting up PoC environments and carrying out technical tests
- Support with external audits and technical guidelines
- Maintaining IT service levels
- Creation of user manuals
Job requirements
What skills must you have?
- At least a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or another relevant field
- At least 8 years of professional experience in a similar role
- practical knowledge of application operations, operating systems and databases, automation and scripting
- Experience in planning and carrying out maintenance work to ensure smooth operation
- Experience in setting up 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support for selected applications and network applications with external service partners
- Expertise in identifying, analysing and resolving technical problems and faults
- Experience in the field of IT security (especially cryptography, PKI and authentication services)
- Fluent language skills in German and English (C1)
- Ability to work in a team, independent working style and the desire to break new ground in IT.
