1.) Accountant (Female Only)

Job Title: Accountant (Female Only)

Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • This role involves various accounting functions, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with audits.
  • The Accountant plays a crucial role in providing timely and accurate financial information to support informed business decisions.

Responsibilities
General Ledger and Journal Entries:

  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Maintain and update the chart of accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Account Reconciliation:

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports for management.
  • Prepare variance analysis and provide explanations for fluctuations.

Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable:

  • Process invoices and payments for accounts payable.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
  • Maintain accurate vendor and customer records.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

Audit Support:

  • Provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with audit recommendations.

Internal Controls:

  • Maintain and enforce internal control procedures.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS as applicable.

Month-End/Year-End Close:

  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and review closing entries.
  • Maintain organized financial records.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
  • Provide support to other finance team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • (Preferred) Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA)

Experience:e.

  • (Mid-Level) 3-5 years of accounting experience..

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP or IFRS).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite).
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update factory data in company systems.

  • Verify data for errors and inconsistencies.

Job Summary

  • The Promoter Supervisor will be responsible for driving product visibility, brand awareness, and sales growth of consumer electronics in modern trade (supermarkets, hypermarkets, and retail chains) and general trade (distributors, independent retailers, and open markets) across Nigeria.
  • The role involves recruiting, training, and managing a team of in-store promoters to ensure strong product visibility, excellent customer engagement, and effective execution of trade marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Promoter Management & Performance Supervision:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales promoters and merchandisers across key retail and trade locations.
  • Develop and implement sales pitch strategies for promoters to maximize product sales.
  • Monitor and evaluate promoter performance through KPIs such as sales volume, foot traffic engagement, and conversion rates.

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in sales promotion, trade marketing, or retail sales within the consumer electronics or FMCG industry.
  • Previous experience in managing sales promoters, merchandisers, or field sales teams is required.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian modern trade and general trade landscape.
  • Experience in executing in-store activations, product demonstrations, and retail branding initiatives.
