1.) Finance Officer

 

Job Description

• The successful applicant will be required to prepare monthly Bank/Cash registers; Bank Reconciliation Statements;
• Prepare Budgets and Cash Flow Statements for the Projects: prepare monthly budget transfer request, disburse funds to beneficiaries,
• Submit Monthly Financial Returns to the National Office.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation,
• Assist in preparation of financial reports of projects.
• Make entries into the accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) and support the preparation of project budgets.
• Adhere to financial guidelines and internal controls.






Qualification Required & Experience

The successful applicant must

• Hold a first degree in BSc Administration (Accounting Option)/B. Comm/HND Accountancy of relevant accounting Qualification (ICA-Ghana)ACCA
• Have a minimum of two (2) years post qualification relevant work experience. or Level II
• Possess good interpersonal, planning, communication and organisational skills; ability to pay attention to details
• Be computer literate. (Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft excel, word & capable of using an accounting based software).
• Have a sound appreciation of office administration and accounting procedures
• Be prepared to work for long hours

2.) Assets, Fleet & Logistics Coordinator

 

Job Purpose

• The job function will seek to provide technical and administrative support in the implementation of contract management, assets management & maintenance of building infrastructure, fleet management and logistics

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate should:

• Hold a first degree in Estate Management, Building Technology, Land Economy, Logistics and Transport, Advance Diploma in Logistics and Transport (DILT) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Have a minimum of three (3) years of direct experience and progressively responsible professional experience in property management, budget, administration, real estate management, inventory management or supply chain management, logistics and fleet management.
• Must be a member of a relevant professional body
• Experience working with logistics and property management policies and practices, as well as feet management regulations and rules of an international non-governmental organisation is desirable.
• Have Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
• Possess positive and professional approach.
• Highly organised, able to work independently, use initiative, and keep commitments.
• Be a motivated self-starter with initiative, flexibility, enthusiastic and ability to travel to other locations in the country.
• Strategic thinker combined with practical” can do” attitude
• Possess strong supervisory, organisational and time management skills with precision to meet deadlines.
• Have good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislation's relating to assets fleet and logistics management in the NGO sector.
• Possess good data gathering, strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Hold high ethical standards and integrity Must be knowledgeable in Child Rights and Child Safe Guarding Practices
• Team player & ability to cooperate with subordinates, colleagues and superiors

3.) Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

 

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate should

• Hold a first degree in Statistics, Development Planning, Project Management, Sociology, Economics or Community Development
• Have a minimum of two (2) years of direct experience in executing Monitoring and Evaluation activities for donor-funded programmes.
Experience should include ability in conducting assessments and sur veys, proposal development, programme design, developing key performance indicators, logical frame work, data analysis using industry standard analytical tools, monitoring and evaluation plans.
• Demonstrate familiarity with and understanding of qualitative and quantitative methodologies that incorporate rigorous statistical methods.
• Demonstrated skill in statistical analysis and Management Information Systems
• Have Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, SPSS, XLSTAT, STATA, NVIVO or other industry recognised statistical and analytical software.
• Strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills Possess an understanding of Results-based Management
• Demonstrate ability to write results-based progress reports
• Possess positive and professional approach. Highly organised, able to work independently, use initiative, and keep commitments.
• Be a motivated self-starter with initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm
• Strategic thinker combined with practical can do attitude
• Possess strong supervisory, organisational and time management skills with precision to meet deadines
• Must be knowledgeable in Child Rights and Child Safe Guarding Practices

4.) Handyman

 

Purpose:

• To provide technical support to ensure the smooth running of programme activities in Kumasi.

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate should

• Hold HND in Building & Construction/Technology or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Have at least 3 years relevant work experience in building construction, mechanical or electrical engineering
• Possess some knowledge in basic auto mechanics or vehicle maintenance
• Able to handle minor repairs on equipment and estate facilities
• Able to handle minor electrical and plumbing works
• Be able to take initiative and have a sense of responsibility
• Be physically and mentally fit
• Be patient, honest and very respectful
• Be able to work for long hours and on weekends when the need arises.
• Possess good writing skills with a flair for the needs and development of children.
• Have a strong cultural awareness, able to work with people from different cultural backgrounds.
• Be a team player, have strong collaborative skills and able to relate with children, youth & all levels of co-workers

5.) Sponsorship Officer

 

Qualification Required & Experience
The ideal candidate should

• Hold a first Degree in English, Linguistics, Social Science or Humanities, Communication & Journalism
• Have a minimum of 2 years post qualification relevant work experience in creative writing managing donors and sponsors
• Applicants living or residing in and around the job location have an added advantage
• Have proven knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, skill and experience in database management
• Be a motivated self-starter with initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm
• Be a proactive communicator, ability to build relationships and provide support
• Possess good organisational and time management skills
• Possess marketing & fundraising skills
• Possess excellent writing skills with a flair for the needs and development of children
• Have a strong cultural awareness, able to work with people from different cultural backgrounds

6.) Corporate & Individual Giving Fundraisers

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting the implementation of the organiastion's corporate fundraising strategy and plan
• Support the organisation in driving the development of sustainable corporate fundraising partnerships and building win-win relationships
• Create a suite of attractive fundraising products and developing bespoke funding proposals to meet the corporate needs and interest of the organisation
• Support in generating corporate fundraising activities and securing income in alignment with the organisations strategic goals
• Build, promote and support long term partnerships with local donors
• Research and analyse trends in the corporate fundraising world to inform management decision making
• Ensure the availability of quality communication materials tailored for corporate fundraising through impact reporting and specific marketing channels focused on the business community
• Develop positive working relations and build effective networks to identify potential partner's support in the area of fundraising
• Responsible for supporting the implementation of the organisation's fundraising strategy
• Identify local funding opportunities and applications or other forms of local income (such as donations in kind and government subsides)
• Act as role model and promote the organisation's child rights safeguarding policies

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum qualification of first degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Business Development, Marketing, Sales / Public relations or communications. 2nd Degree will be an added advantage
• 5 years minimum relevant experience with at least 3 years experience in fundraising or Marketing/sale
• Versatile communication skills that can be effective at all levels. Ability to speak some local languages is desirable
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Should be strategic thinker, with expert experience in organsation, planning and negotiation skills
• Should be result oriented, capable of networking and building relationships with knowledge of varying donor types and ability to deal with a wide range of clients and donors
• Ability to driving income growth and moving the organisation towards self-sufficiency and financial independence.
