1.) Product Manager - Business API

About the Role

  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to support our Business API product at Kuda. As a Product Manager - Business API, you will work closely with the Senior Product Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure our Business API aligns with our overall business objectives and delivers value to our customers.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the product roadmap for the Business API, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

  • As a Direct Sales Agent, you will play a pivotal role in driving Kuda’s growth objectives through proactive sales efforts, effective relationship-building, and unwavering commitment to compliance and customer satisfaction.

3.) Growth Marketer - Loyalty and Special Projects

Job Description

  • Kuda is looking for an experienced Growth Marketer who will be responsible for executing acquisition, retargeting and retention campaigns, monitoring campaign performance and analysing data to identify trends.
  • This role will focus on loyalty programs and other special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own the growth marketing strategy relating to loyalty, referrals and viral loops with the objective of improving activation and retention of existing customers as well as acquiring new high value customers.
  • Lead growth marketing efforts on ad hoc special projects, depending on business need. These are likely to include credit campaigns and operational updates as well as a variety of future projects that may be added to the roadmap.
  • Execute acquisition campaigns across multiple digital channels, including paid social, search, programmatic and other relevant channels.
  • Develop and execute App Store Optimisation (ASO) strategies across the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store (Android) to maximise visibility and conversion rate.
  • Develop and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other relevant channels.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise campaigns based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, user acquisition cost, and retention rates.

4.) Junior Financial Analyst

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst (based in Lagos) to support the Group Financial Controller (based in Cape Town) by analyzing financial data focusing on SaaS and other operating costs relative to the customer base and revenue, assisting with budgeting, and contributing to the financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to and working closely with the  Group Financial Controller, where your main areas of focus would be maintaining the SaaS management system and all related reporting. There will be benchmarking of various operating costs and preparing common size P&Ls.
  • SaaS Management: Working in the SaaS management tool to maintain, update ad and remove licenses. Work with the SaaS owners to prepare renewal packs. Extract and manipulate data from the platform to draw out key insights. Working with IS Admin to ensure all employees' emails are in sync.
  • Posting and expensing/amortizing of SaaS costs: working with the AP clerk and financial accountant to ensure that prepaid SaaS costs are correctly recorded and amortized according to usage.
  • SaaS cost management and budgeting: Analyzing the cost on a monthly basis identifying cost drivers and building this into the annual budget and forecast.
  • Operating cost review: decomposing the entire indirect cost base (excluding workforce planning) to facilitate actual to budget variance analysis. This will form the basis for bottom up budgeting with the department owners.
  • Benchmarking of costs: Using common sized P&L and market information to perform cost comparisons across the group.
  • Monthly reporting: Preparing monthly reporting packs at department level for actual vs budget analysis.
  • GL management: Ensuring that departmental reporting is up to date and that costs are correctly allocated.
  • Work Independently: as the role is based in Lagos, the individual will report into Group Financial Controller (based in Cape Town) with the dotted line reporting into local Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Accounting and or Finance
  • 1 - 3 years Financial Services or regulated business.
  • Intermediate to advanced excel/google sheets proficiency.

  • We are looking for an IT Audit Lead to join our team and take responsibility for developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing the effectiveness of Kuda’s information security, technological control, and I.T governance systems with a view to safeguarding the assets of the Company.

  • Regular risk assessment of IT infrastructures which include risk analysis & threats assessment, Enterprise security management process, computer and communication security and physical access control among others
  • Assess the adequacy of system configuration and change management process, Back-up and Disaster recovery, software development processes, logical access controls
  • Designs audit programmes to execute approved audit plan

  • Advanced knowledge of auditing processes/procedures
