1.) Assistant Internal Auditor
Job Summary
• Assist the internal auditor in establishing an effective and adequate internal control system that seeks to ensure that resources are safeguard, records are accurately and reliably kept and work in done efficiently and effectively in compliance with the bank's policies banking regulations and internal standards
Duties and Responsibilities
• Support the internal auditor in ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Banking, Laws, the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) as well as directives and procedures established by Bank of Ghana, ARV Apex Bank Ltd and the policies of the Bank
• Appraise, from time to time the effectiveness of internal controls in place and propose new ones for consideration by the Internal controls in place and propose new ones for consideration by the Internal auditor
• Take active part in the preparation of draft reports and assume an active role in the discussion of recommendations and remedial actions with the appropriate level of management
• Help create a control environment that will detect and avoid any fraud
• Design work prepare that clearly document the evidence of audit work performed and conclusion drawn
• Participate in field work as appropriate to ensure quality of staff work and procedures
• Follow up on previous findings to ensure that corrective actions have been taken
• Deputise for the Head of Internal Auditor when necessary
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned
Required Competencies

Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Auditing
• At least 2 years continuous post-qualification experience in any of the following fields, internal audit function, Risk Management, compliance, forensics from any institution preferably a rural banking environment
• Very conversant with T24 Banking software

2.) Assistant Risk and Compliance Officer
Job Summary
• Assist the Head of Risk and Compliance implement a risk management framework for the entire operations of the bank and recommend strategies for managing the risks inherent in the operations of the Bank and assist in enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business, as well as provide guidance on compliance matters
Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure effective and efficient management of Operational Risk, Liquidity Risk, Credit Risk, interest rate risk and compliance risk
• Assist the Head of Risk and compliance carry out periodic assessment of the effectiveness of controls identified in implementing the risk management framework of the bank
• Help perform monthly risk test on risk portfolio for impact on profitability, capital adequacy and liquidity
• Recording and reporting at risk incidents to the Head of Risk and compliance
• Access and provide risk comments on loan applications and recommend controls to mitigate those risks
• Undertake compliance exercise in all the branches and submit report to the Head of Risk and Compliance for review
• Ensure agencies adherence with internal policies, anti-money laundering requirements and regulations affecting the conduct of banking business
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Head of Risk and Compliance
• Deputies for the Head of Risk and Compliance when necessary
Required Competencies
• Highly analytical
• Well abreast of the financial regulatory environment
• Working knowledge of credit risk modelling and analytics, credit risk portfolio management or credit risk strategy development
• Effectively prioritise workload and deal with multiple tasks
• Ability to analyse a number of situations and develop suggestions on the best course of action
• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering requirements and KYC procedures
• Good oral and written skill
• Ability to use the T24 software
• Sound computer knowledge in Excel, Word and Power Point
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of first degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or related field
• At least 2 years banking experience particularly in a rural bank
• Well abreast of the financial regulatory environment
• Conversant with the T-24 Banking software

3.) Assistant Administrative Secretary
Job Summary
• The Assistant Administrative Secretary shall provide a clerical support by performing a variety of secretarial duties which may include preparing reports and collecting data
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist the Head of Administration in coordinating meetings
• Distribute minutes, correspondences and letters as required
• Perform other clerical and secretarial obligations as required which may include letter drafting, filing, record keeping and handing correspondence
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Capabilities
• Well versed in Administrative and Secretarial duties
• Exceptional communication and typing skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic understanding and use of office equipment, clerical processes and structures such as record keeping and filing
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of higher national diploma (HND) in Secretaryship and management studies or Business Studies
• A minimum of 1 year experience in a related role

4.) Agency Account Officers/Clerks
Job Summary
• The Agency Clerk shall support daily banking activities both through direct customer interaction and behind the scences tasks like data entry
• Additionally, he/she shall maintain important customer and financial records to ensure that the Agency remains efficient and follows reporting and financial management laws and guidelines
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist the Agency Head in coordinating the operational activities of the Agency
• Data capturing of daily transactions into the T24 system
• Account opening for prospective customers
• Responsible for the timely and proper update of the General Ledger, books of accounts and various control registers of the Agency
• Assist the Agency Manager in preparation of Returns and Management reports of the Agency
• Ensure the proper daily calling-over of all transactions of the Agency
• Responsible for customer enquiries and handing of customer complaints
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Agency Manager
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of HND in Banking, Finance, Accounting or related field
• A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in branch/agency operations and customer service
• Must be knowledgeable in T24 core banking application.
• Must demonstrate sound understanding of accounting and banking principles, processes and controls
• Able to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A good command of the English language, spoken and written
• Good knowledge of MS Word, MS excel
