1.) Regional Community Manager - BNB Chain

Location: Remote

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Community Manager for the fast growing BSC Eco-system.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Community team engaging with one of the most active and popular communities in the blockchain industry.
This role can be based remotely in any global location.

Responsibilities

Setup close partnership with the regional Dev Communities, Universities, and blockchains associations
Deploy successful online and offline Developers campaigns, such as hackathons, workshop or conferences from ideation to execution
Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns through data analysis and user feedback
Develop effective marketing and brand communication strategy and ultimately expand our digital footprint and brand awareness in your region
Grow and manage BSC community ambassadors, and coordinate with them to moderate the regional BSC social media, platforms, and chat groups and interact with the community to increase positive engagement
Engage users, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote BSC initiatives
Explore new community-friendly platforms to facilitate the expansion

Requirements

Proven community management experience with strong ownership and emotional intelligence
Experience in launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, leading an ambassador program, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter)
Strong understanding of cryptocurrency/blockchain-related terminologies and trends and a strong interest in crypto and DAO culture
Be able to work flexible and stretched hours to interact with the crypto community as frequently as possible
Fluency in local languages, advanced level of English
Experiences on DeFi projects will be a plus.

Serve as the company’s external representative for all government relationships in Nigeria, including attending industry events and public meetings, shaping the policy narrative around digital assets and cryptocurrencies
Lead the development and execution of public policies, engaging on legislative and regulatory issues that impact the company’s reputation with policymakers
Work collaboratively to publish and disseminate papers to drive education and influence legislators, agency officials, stakeholders and the general public
Ensure alignment in message and policy positions across key functions, counseling business leaders to understand the importance government relations play in the success of the business
Responsible for the business performance and providing direction and leadership towards the achievement of the company's mission and goals.
Building and maintaining relations through networking and stakeholder engagements in support of company’s legislative and policy priorities.

Requirements

A minimum of 15 years experience in a government affairs program, ideally in a fintech industry and/or a government body addressing regulatory issues and public policy.
Comes with a demonstrated track record of starting up the regulatory arm from scratch.
Strong network and relationships across business, government, and technology across the region.

3.) Senior Business Development Manager - Pay

Location: Lagos
Department: Business Development

Responsibilities

Own the merchant growth targets by creating and maintaining a sales pipeline. The candidate is responsible for generating his/her own leads.
Responsible for procuring, onboarding and managing strategic payment partners: Payment Acquirers, Payment Service Providers, Payment Wallets, SaaS Platforms, Referral Agents etc.
Assist in merchant growth strategy and planning. E.g. Identify strategic verticals Launch international scheme based binance card in the region
Lead and execute market launch plans in target markets. E.g. Company set-up, license application, resourcing.
Provide strategic inputs on product direction and drive new business development initiatives e.g. loyalty and payout solutions. Candidate has to be up to date with both payment and crypto trends.
Co-lead strategic marketing initiatives with merchants and strategic partners to drive greater brand awareness. E.g. Socials, campaigns, communications.
Ensure products meet compliance and regulatory requirements by maintaining strong relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders. E.g. Regulators.

Requirements

5+ years of proven success in a similar role that has experience across multiple leading payment firms. E.g. Payment Schemes/Network, Payment Acquirers/Gateways, Payment Wallets.
Strong international/regional merchant and partner network.
Strong regulatory experience about payment business in one or many jurisdictions
Has 0-1 experience. I.e. building a business/project/product from scratch.
Demonstrated ability to work as a team player, very strong interpersonal.

Skills:

Problem solver, results-driven and hands-on.
A passion for crypto and digital assets with an astute understanding of B2B client needs.
Fluency in English is a must and business/advanced level of Chinese will be considered as an asset.

Our Government Affairs team is responsible for high-level, strategic engagement with external stakeholders globally, including but not limited to, political office holders, governmental bodies, trade and industry associations, ministries, and non-governmental organisations.
You will be part of a diverse global Government Affairs team, working with different cross-functional teams to identify and analyse key policy issues, developments, and market sentiment.
This person will be expected to partner closely with local government officials and organisations to help educate the general public.

Responsibilities

Track and analyse developments in policy making and national and regional sentiment and their impact on the industry.
Manage projects across a wide range of topics including outreach, engagement, and planning and coordinating events and meetings.
Develop and lead campaigns both in-country and regionally.
Collaborate with external stakeholders and field requests and queries from partners.
Engage with external stakeholders and help them understand major product developments, launches, policy changes, or technology updates.
Work cross-functionally with teams across legal, compliance, product, technology, communications and others to understand priorities and develop custom projects where necessary.
Serve as a spokesperson for Binance.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience with civic engagement, government or political bodies, think tanks, public interest groups, or relevant industry associations.
Experience working in fast-paced and dynamic professional environments; ability to exercise appropriate and sound judgement.
Ability to write and translate complex issues into simple language suitable for a range of audiences.
Familiarity with the crypto industry and technologies, the policy, and political environments that surround them; ability to get up to speed quickly on complex technical and regulatory issues.
Ability to lead campaigns and to work independently.
Ability to communicate effectively with external policy and company leaders on a professional level to bring across messages and drive high-impact conversations
