1.) Head of Corporate Sales
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
The Head of Corporate Sales is a junior-level management role reporting to the Business Development Manager and with the primary purpose of building profitable revenue through Corporate sales through:
- Finding and attracting new profitable corporate business
- Expanding existing corporate clients
- Focusing on shortlist of clients with profit potential
Job Role
- Drive Next Gear's brand, profile, and proposition through Corporate sales in line with market participation strategy.
- Create, implement and manage expansive and commercial Corporate sales strategy and management plan that delivers the growth targets.
- Identify, secure and develop new profitable Corporate business throughout the
- Pro-actively seek out new business opportunities
- Segment new business opportunities in order to be able to focus efforts on shortlist of clients with profit potential
- Establish and maintain relationships and meet personal sales targets as agreed with Business Development Manager
- Establish and build strong client relationships, delivering high-touch relationship management to all accounts
- Maintain and develop growth-oriented relationships with key partners
- Ensure that all sales activities are completed in a compliant way, ensuring that the relevant governing bodies’ protocols are fulfilled
- Deliver new and differentiated business growth opportunities such as corporate investors etc
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 3 - 10 years work experience.
Skills Required:
- Sales background in real estate, banking , or relevant transferable skills and knowledge from other industries such as insurance, Retail, Commercial or Investment Banking, and Business Management.
- Previous experience in the service industry of handling large, blue-chip accounts and selling at Senior/Board Level.
- Demonstrated track record in achieving new business targets and continually demonstrating application in this key area.
- Business/commercial acumen on pricing/contract issues.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Skill and ability to adopt a “consultative” approach to effective problem solving
- Proven ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and collateral to support business development meetings
- Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to build and strengthen relationships at all levels.
- An ability to speak fluent English
- A track record of achieving and exceeding targeted business results/KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes.
Salary
NGN150,000 monthly.

2.) Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Guzape, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Expected to provide direct supervision of construction activities at the site.
- Coordinate site workers, Junior Engineers, Architect,schedules, ensuring adequate coverage
- Enforce all site policies and procedures
- Conduct site performance reviews
- Maintain and adhere to site budget and Approve project plans
- Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner
- Track and monitors project progress, adhering to prearranged standards
- Ensure compliance across the worksite
- Review all project progress before submitting it to the business development manager
- Prepare and submit bi-monthly progress reports.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor all repair and maintenance works (preventive and corrective) to be executed by the maintenance team.
- Proactively interface with all stakeholders to align and deliver maintenance service that supports and enables value for money, business operations, and ensures a timely resolution to customer issues.
- Proper filing and documentation
- Management of the entire maintenance process from issue reporting to job
- Liaise with Procurement on the timely delivery of quality materials and to specification
- Ensure total budgetary compliance for effective cost management and minimization of waste
- Total oversight functions on all aspects of the facilities management provider in the client location
Requirements
- The minimum educational qualification is HND / B.Sc with a minimum of 8 years of experience
- COREN Certified
- Applicant must possess a valid driver license
- Must be goal-oriented and focused.
Salary
NGN150,000 monthly.

- Prepare advertisement as it relates to the marketing and sales department.
- Contact prospective clients on new offers that directly match their interests.
- To market and sell an agreed monthly/annual target to increase year on year.
- To meet all financial targets lay down by the Chief Executive and Business Development Manager.
- To maintain effective relationships with existing clients in order to retain business via online media.
- To develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate sales contracts to an agreed annual target.
- To represent Next Gear Homes to potential clients through communication in telephone calls and emails.
- To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities.
- To undertake such other duties and training as may be reasonably required and which are commensurate with the nature and grading of the post.
- To contribute to Next Gear’s Vision and Mission and strive to exhibit the Values and Behavior at all times.
- To drive sales as agreed by the management at a monthly/annual target.
- Ensure proper documentation of sales and marketing reports.

- Provide cooperative sales and marketing to organizations, firms, churches, government agencies, and other related bodies as directed by the management.

- Involve fully in the visiting of sites and also taking of customers to sites.
