1.) Vice President, Corporate Finance
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- We are looking for a Vice President, Corporate Finance to provide leadership and develop innovative financial solutions to meet clients’ medium and long-term financing needs as well as origination and execution of capital markets/project finance advisory & arranging deals.
- The individual will coordinate the Corporate Finance Unit to originate and execute advisory transactions and meet income targets and maintain good relationship with partners and clients.
Responsibilities
- Specify, plan, propose and implement the strategy for Corporate Finance Dept
- Define marketing and sales strategies for the corporate finance business
- Lead the origination of capital markets, project and structured finance deals
- Provide innovative structuring and fund raising solutions to fit clients’ needs
- Network with clients at all levels
- Develop and market tailor-made financial products & advisory services to corporate clients
- Establish and maintain relationships with DFIs and Export Credit Agencies with a view to working with them in structured finance transactions
- Ensure timely rendition of returns to regulatory authorities and DFIs
- Supervise and Appraise Team Leads and members of the Corporate Finance Dept
- Responsible for achieving Revenues, PBT and other key performance targets
- Training & mentoring direct reports
- Perform all other duties as may be assigned by Managing Director
Requirements
- A second Degree or an MBA from a leading university. Other additional qualifications e.g. ACA, ACIB, CFA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a bank or other financial institution, with a minimum of 6 years demonstrable experience undertaking successful project & structured finance transactions and/or other long term financing/PPP projects. Experience of risk management in relation to project & structured finance and/or cash-flow lending.

2.) Product Manager

Job Summary
- We are looking for a product manager for their digital product. The Product Manager will be responsible for product strategy, planning, development and implementation of new products and product enhancements for the product as well as of other digital platforms.
- This includes managing new offerings and enhancements throughout the product lifecycle; leading scrum sessions and release management, collaborating with business lines and other teams in defining the product vision, gathering and prioritizing requirements, developing roadmaps and working closely with technology partners, and key business stakeholders to deliver and maintain profitable solutions that meet the needs of our clients. It also includes supporting Business Lines and Marketing in promoting the products and ensuring revenue, business value, and client loyalty goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with business lines and teams, develop best-in-class, digital banking products that promote and create customer loyalty through highly innovative design and feature sets.
- Leads agile scrum teams, plays role of scrum master and product owner, manages backlog and release planning.
- Understand customer needs in digital channels by engaging business lines, conducting industry and customer research.
- Define product roadmap strategy, incorporating market direction and customer preference.
- Work with a cross functional team to drive the implementation of new products, features, and designs.
- Define product direction, prioritize and manage features that will deliver best-in-class experiences for Eastern Bank consumers.
- Work with the Design / User Experience team to translate requirements into concepts and elegant user experience designs.
- Monitor and track product usage and performance.
- Develop closed loop analytics system to gather customer feedback in order to shape and build future products.
- Track product and feature use and work with product team to analyze and understand implications for product enhancement.
- Support the creation of other critical digital platforms by working with technology and business partners, architects and other groups to identify technical and functional needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in and any proven work experience in product management
- 2- 5 years’ experience in the relevant field.

3.) Risk Management & Internal Control Analyst Internal Auditor
Location: Lagos

Job Summary
- We are looking for a Risk Management & Internal Control Analyst to analyze and assess the risk in the organization and design and implement strategies and processes which mitigate threats to the successful delivery of the organization’s corporate and business plans, and desired outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement an overall risk management process for the organization, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur.
- Assessing risk by analyzing current risks and identifying potential risks that can affect the organization.
- Evaluating risks by comparing the estimated risk against the given risk criteria with the aim of determining the significance of the risk.
- Establishing the level of risk the organization is willing to take and ensure that adequate controls are in place.
- Deliver regular risk analysis reports to Executive Management with actionable plans for avoidance or prevention of possible threats at all levels.
- Creating business continuity plans to limit risks.
- Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the organization.
Qualifications
- First Degree - At least second class upper Degree in Finance or related courses
- Professional certification - Membership of professional bodies such ICAN, ACCA will be an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a bank or other financial institution, at least 3 of which must have been in Risk Management/ Internal Control/ Internal Audit.
