1.) Packet Core Support Engineer

Job Description

  • We are now looking for a Packet core Engineer that will provide technical service and support to our customers.
  • In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks.
  • You will configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks.
  • You will typically interact with customer technical staff, operation managers, service engineers and other groups within the Service Delivery organization. You may also interact with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd party suppliers and local authorities.
  • As there are no distinct borders between the areas, you will need to be flexible and master more than one area.
  • You are expected to travel internationally and work in different cultural environments. The technical development is rapid and you are responsible for continuously keeping your competence and skills up to date.
  • You will require a broad knowledge within telecom and Datacom, covering both hardware, software, and network knowledge.
  • You will work, collaborate, and communicate in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well as customers and suppliers to Ericsson.
  • The role more than often requires you to take on big responsibility and it is important that you can work independently.

You will:

  • Customer support request (CSR) investigation follow up and coordination.
  • Analyze problems and identify suitable solution to these problems.
  • Do Software Update Management (SUM) activities.
  • Working on complex troubleshooting, using support tools and according to global support processes and procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Customer.
  • Actively engage in communication with other engineers for the purpose of knowledge sharing.

Job Requirments
To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Domain experience: (Packet core) at least 7-8 years.
  • Very good knowledge of Ericsson Packet Core nodes, SGSN-MME, GGSN, EPC, vEPC
  • Good Understanding of Packet Core surrounding Nodes (Like IMS, OCC, Charging Nodes)
  • Good knowledge of SAPC (Policy server) , IPWorks (DNS)
  • Familiar with virtualization and the Cloud Systems
  • Excellent IP background
  • Very good knowledge of Linux
  • Negotiation & argumentation skills
  • Planning & organizing skills
  • Delivering results & meeting customer expectations
  • Presentation & communication skill
  • Working with people.

2.) Mobile Financial Services, MSIP Operations Assurance Manager

Job Description

  • West and Central Africa (WECA) Operations Assurance Manager ensures that all contractual deliveries are fulfilled towards Mobile Money agreements.
  • The role is responsible for ensuring end to end operational performance towards the account and MFS Delivery and operations according to agreed targets.
  • The role is acting on behalf of Operations, typically for Group or more customer accounts.
  • The role shall ensure that Ericsson Converged Wallet operates according to MSTOP/ITIL best practices.
  • The role will be working closely with customer Group and OPCO technology and operations teams as well as Mobile Financial Services Unit at Ericsson.
  • It will be required to work closely with program stakeholders as CPM, Business Analyst, Mobile Money SMEs and M-Commerce Stakeholders to secure stable operation of Ericsson Converged Wallet.
  • You will be reporting to Head of Mobile Money Operations.

You Will:

  • Own and execute Ericsson Converged Wallet Platform operational plans
  • Support in resolution of Operations issues related to platform and customer queries.
  • Own Change Management process and respective activities in designated countries
  • Drive Weekly/Monthly Governance with MTN OPCOs in West region
  • Customer management including C level during emergency situations
  • Secure SLA/KPI fulfillment
  • CAB Management Ericsson
  • CAB Management Customer
  • Team management located onsite as well as GSCs.
  • Festive & event platform planning & presentation
  • Responsible for Planning & Capacity management
  • Audit Management (External & Internal)
  • Weekly/Monthly Governance with GSC

Requirements
To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Experience in Managed Services in Operational assurance or SME areas. 5+ Years
  • Experience in E-Wallets solution 4+ years
  • Proven knowledge of MSTOP, ITIL
  • Experience in operating Managed Services tools. Primarily MSDP.
  • Understanding of Ericsson Wallet Platform or adjacent BSS domains products as Charging System
  • BSS Experience 3+ years
  • Strong leadership skills with focus on team performance
  • Result oriented with customer first attitude
  • Can handle stressful and ambiguous situations
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Self-motivated with strong drive and initiative, collaborative, relating and networking
  • Track record as a leader and the ability to work independently preferably with a well-established contact network within Ericsson
  • Outgoing personality that finds it easy to cooperate and establish relationships across organizational boundaries and in a global environment
  • Good at handling resource planning and competence development
  • University Degree in Technology or Economics, preferably MSC, MBA or equivalent.

3.) MSIP Operations Assurance Manager

  • We are now looking for a key member to join our Managed Services team! As a member of our MSIP Operations Assurance team, you will be responsible for the financial, operational and delivery performance of the operations within a managed services deal.
  • In this role, you will play a valuable role to handle the applicable Working Level Agreements (WLA) and Operating Level Agreements (OLA) with delivery organizations, managing the delivery of operations, ensuring that operations delivery is fulfilling the contracted Service Level Agreement (SLA) and serving as the primary escalation point for critical incident, Operations escalations, and performance reporting towards the customer.




You will:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of operations for a specific customer, including delivery performance based on SLA, providing performance reporting on customer networks and IS/IT
  • Coordinate any operational interface between delivery units and customer’s retained organization
  • Act as main customer interface in managing major incidents, providing resolution reporting to customer and escalating the incident as necessary
  • Ensure problem management activities are performed and supported by all delivery organizations
  • Coordinate customer reporting meetings for problem management status
  • Gain customer approval for solutions and/or negotiate penalties in case of customer non-acceptance
  • Plan for preventative maintenance that covers customer requirements, report on any impacts and grant customer approval as necessary
  • Continuously drive for efficiency, improvements and excellence in service delivery
