1.) Patient Engagement and Enrollment Associate
Locations: Nigeria
Purpose of the Position
- The Patient Enrollment/Engagement Associate will be responsible for detailing the study objective to volunteer participants, administering the inclusion and exclusion criteria and finally recruiting those who met the inclusion criteria into the study at EHA Clinics under the direction of the Research Project Manager.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist a team of researchers to successfully execute research projects through enrollment of study participants.
- Explain and clarify the purpose and utility of selected diagnostic tests and research projects to target audiences.
- Actively monitor the performance of projects to ensure they meet deliverables and deadlines.
- Meet with investigators to prepare research implementation plans.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely procurement of research equipment and consumables.
- Regularly create social media posts and stories to increase the visibility of the department in the local and professional community.
- Coordinate with external consultants as needed on projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to successfully perform this job:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sciences from an accredited university with excellent communication skills. An Advanced Degree in Public Health, Biological Science or a similar field will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years of outstanding work experience as a customer service agent in a nationally recognized organization is essential. Demonstrable proof of such experience is required prior to any interviews.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with a wide variety of patients, medical staff, and caregivers.
- Strong computer skills, including Google Suite are desirable.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- (Immunology) provides test results for patient diagnosis and treatment by operating equipment such as the gamma counter, spectrophotometer, densitometer, and through methods such as radioimmunoassay, enzyme immunoassay, and serological testing.
- (Microbiology) provides physician with information for treatment of patient infection by performing technical procedures for the identification or susceptibility of bacteria, parasites, fungi, and mycobacteria.
- (Blood bank) ensures the patient of receiving compatible blood/blood components by completing blood typing, antibody screening, compatibility testing, and antibody identification procedures.
- (Blood bank) assures future retrieval of patient transfusion information by preparing patient packets and maintaining blood bank database.
- Organizes work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling; sorting specimens; checking labeling; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery; keeping work surfaces clean and orderly.

Laboratory Technician Duties:
- Perform phlebotomy on adults and children
- Ability to perform laboratory investigations while adhering strictly to the SOP
- Knowledge of laboratory sample transportation and preservation/storage
- Operate and manage automatic hematology and chemistry analyzers, pipettes, thermometers, balances, and other lab apparatus.
- Ensure to maintain a clean work floor and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Conduct group responsibilities accurately and on time.
- Maintain and update laboratory checklists regularly
- Label, sort and check specimens and organize all information into the computer system
- Serve as a resource for all members of the staff, which includes answering questions when asked and participating in any educational opportunities as they arise

Job Duties
- Interact with patients and family members in a professional, compassionate and respectful manner to facilitate healthcare delivery as a team member.

- Support HR with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding of laboratory staff.
- Solicit new customers and clients to grow business.
- Assist in marketing and sales activities.
- Assist in the introduction of new initiatives and technologies.
- Prepare laboratory performance and quality reports for executives to review.
- Ensure all staff maintains their professional accreditations and licenses.
- Liaise with the software team to maintain laboratory interface, LIMS/other software.

Qualifications & Training
- A minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Laboratory Science from an accredited university.
- Additional training and experience in laboratory quality management systems.
- Candidate must possess a Certification from the Associate of the Institute of Medical Laboratory
- Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN)
- Candidates must possess a current practising license.
- Relevant Certification will be an added advantage.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a regulated clinical laboratory is required.

- The Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect care for assigned patients in various nursing units and home visits per scheduled shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Nursing Duties:
- Perform patient assessment using appropriate, problem-focused, and age-specific assessment techniques.
