1.) Business Development Intern

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Descriptions

  • We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Intern to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

5.) Journey Management / Protocol Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Plan, execute and report on all Security escort tasks.
  • Coordinate all elements involved in the security escort activity; Escort dispatchers, OPG, Spy police,
  • Security Coordination Room (SCR) and drivers.
  • Follow-up of Escort security vehicles maintenance and communication systems
  • Liaison with Logistics movement on the execution of all movements requiring escorts
  • Liaison with GSA; police, military, airport personnel and traffic management authorities whose assistance may be required for the successful execution of escort tasks.
  • Manage the selection, training and deployment of orderlies to top management
  • Organize escort process routine & non-routine
  • Contribute to evaluation of needs & capabilities to the Security Coordinator
  • Develop teamwork between drivers(civilian/SPY) and armed escorts; resolve conflicts
  • Ensure availability of quick mobilization of security personnel (real Vs plan)
  • Ensure availability of security vehicles (Operations plan Vs Maintenance plan)
  • Synergise with Security Coordination Room for coordination and tracking of Escorts
  • Liaise with the Logistics department for details of movements that require escorts and for the assignment of civilian escort drivers and repairs/maintenance of escort vehicles
  • Address escort requests
  • Receive and process motorised escort requests via the escort management system or email
  • Assign security resources for approved security escort requests
  • Escalate requests for approval as required
  • Plan all land and boat transit escorts according to requests or daily needs
  • Prepare escort orders
  • Assign adequate escorts to land and boat teams including requirement for marine police and security
  • Prepare security teams for emergency response
  • Supervise escort execution
  • Set-up of escort by dispatcher:
  • Assignation of team / vehicles by dispatcher to perform all escort orders
  • Readiness of security personnel before departure
  • Execution of escort by Convoy commander:
  • Security Risk Assessment by convoy commander with Security control
  • Pre-Service briefing before departure
  • Check of compliance to standards (communication means, flashlights, etc.)
  • Escort execution and reporting by Convoy Commanders
  • Tracking of Escort convoys using status reports and tracking tools
  • Report escort process performance
  • Security anomalies, breaches/incidents
  • Process follow-up data (escort start time- real vs plan, # escorts- real vs plan, etc.)
  • Report escort performance indicators: % non-routine escort requests granted, % Escorts On time In full (routine / non-routine)
  • Proposals on how to improve the Escorts process

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree / HND qualification.
  • Experience: 5-10 years experience in any Government Security Agency
  • Good communication, decision making, investigative and analytical skills are required for this position.
  • Good knowledge of the computer system is also required for the position.
  • Good knowledge of fleet management will be an added advantage.
  • Essential skills Personal leadership skills, time management, relationship and team building, problem-solving, good initiative and good decision-making skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive orders from Admin and dispatch orders to Customers.
  • Maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information.
  • Responsible for contacting customers to verify delivery address and notification of Item Delivery.
  • Responsible for picking up items and delivering them safely to customers on time
  • Must ensure that the motorcycle is cleaned routinely or when the need arises.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

  • A minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate
  • 1 year proven experience as a dispatch rider or relevant position.
  • Familiarity with relevant routes.
  • Must enjoy motorcycling and be a skilled rider.
  • Ability to communicate read and write
  • Must reside in Mile 2 area of Lagos

  • The work environment is dynamic, and the Team Leader is responsible for holding meetings, delegating responsibilities, solving problems and championing closing opportunities to open new retirement savings account, relationship management and deep engagement of key influencers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist marketing officers and other support staff in identifying and closing RSA sales: The Team Leader oversees the sales team, assisting team members with sales strategy development and implementation. This includes developing strategic sales plans that expand the customer base and increase retention of existing clients.
  • Keep Informed of New Products and Services: To hit sales targets and achieve growth, the Team Leader must continue to develop knowledge of the products and services being offered. They also need a working knowledge of the pension industry’s climate and competition to effectively implement the sales strategy and deliver agreed target for the team.
  • Recruit, Train, and Coach the Sales Team: The Team Leader help define sales job requirements, assisting in the search for the best candidates and taking part in the interview process. A large part of the job is providing sales team members with tips and training to achieve a competitive edge in the Pension industry. Sales Team Leaders orient the new sales staff and focus on improving the job performance and sales of existing staff.
  • Delegate Tasks and Set Deadlines The Team Leader delegate tasks to marketing executives and support whilst taking into consideration experience, skill-set and ability to deliver on specific task and responsibilities.
  • Set Sales Targets and Motivate Sales Team The Team Leader set daily, weekly, or monthly sales goals to meet corporate goal assigned to the team. The role also involves motivation of team members to reach individual sales goals and encourage the staff to work better and smarter, rather than harder.

Education and Experience

  • First degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business or Finance.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in similar role in a PFA

Required Skills:

  • A proven track record of meeting sales team target, holding meetings with Pension Desk officers, HR Managers and partners in sales management.
  • Sales Industry Experience - The Team Leader manages the people who generate sales. To be successful as a Team Leader or supervisor in sales, experience and a working knowledge of the sales industry is important
  • Leadership and Motivation skills - The Team Leader motivates employees to reach sales goals and needs to be able to effectively train, encourage, inspire and reward team members for their achievements
  • Customer Service skills - sales roles are customer focused, and the Team Leader needs to be able to guide team members in providing excellent service to customers
  • Organization skills - To effectively delegate tasks to team members and keep track of sales goals, the Team Leader needs to be well organized
  • Communication skills - Sales Team Leader is the link that holds the sales team together, the source of information, training, and motivation for the sales staff - they need to communicate all aspects of the sales operation to managers and team members
