1.) Executive Assistant

Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Anambra

Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Managing Director’s & Executive Director’s work including appointments and diary, make travel arrangements and book accommodation, manage programme and events, producing agendas, minutes and all key paperwork for meetings as well as support for MD’s & ED’s effectiveness.
  • The Executive Assistant will also overseeing staffing requirements, providing supervision and direction to front office employees as well as streamline processes for operational effectiveness.

Key Result Areas (KRA)
The key result areas of this role are:

  • Information Management Support
  • Administrative and Communication Support
  • Executive Time Management Support
  • Public Relations –Director of First Impressions.

Responsibilities
Administrative:

  • Acts as the point of contact and liaising with internal or external stakeholders at a high-level on behalf of the Managing Director
  • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the Managing Director and internal departments
  • Provide support in preparing and managing client contracts/agreements
  • Draft reports, prepare presentations, letters and personal correspondence, and perform other tasks that facilitate the Managing Director's & Executive Director’s effectiveness.
  • Day-to-day management of the Managing Director's itinerary & calendar; scheduling, organizing, setting up and managing meetings as well as other protocols.
  • Update the Managing Director & Executive Director’s on key organizational issues.
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and following through on all the company's projects to ensure successful completion with deadline.
  • Managing Information flow to the Managing Director in a timely and accurate manner
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing, editing and reviewing emails, drafting memos and preparing communications on the Managing Director and Executive Director’s behalf.
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Organize and maintain the MD’s Office filling system
  • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software to prepare reports and special projects.
  • Review goals of  team daily and identify root cause if goal was not obtained

Management and Supervisory:

  • Checks on team throughout the day to be sure that any issues with equipment, personnel, work tools, safety, etc. are addressed promptly.
  • Coaches and develops staff, while fostering a team atmosphere. Provides pep talks as needed and coaching for any performance issues.
  • Assists employees with questions or problems they have regarding work assignments, priorities, safety, personnel issues, etc.
  • Counsels employees when necessary and recommends to HR such personnel actions as disciplinary action, transfer, promotion, termination of employment, etc. Documents any issues, counseling efforts, etc.
  • Oversees training and orientation of new employees and offers additional training as needed. Offers re-training when necessary. Sets up and maintains cross training, as applicable.
  • Serves as a role model to all employees. Conducts oneself professionally and abides by Company safety & personnel policies, SOPs, etc.
  • Analyze budgets and continuously control front office cost and identify/rectify waste measures.
  • Check front office output according to expectation and submit report on performance and progress
  • Conduct safety and orientation training with new employees
  • Control and organize timesheets for front office personnel
  • Identify issues of inefficiency, suggest and take action on improvement
  • Review goals of front office team daily and identify root cause if goal was not obtained
  • Set Performance expectation and target as well as  review all front office employees’ performance
  • Conduct monthly performance appraisals for all front office employees and communicate information to HR and Executive Management

 The Person

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, or related field.
  • 5-10 years' experience in administration and Executive Assistance.
  • Experience in management and administration.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
  • The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • The ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Recruitment and selection process administration, On-boarding of new staff, Effective head count management, Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow- up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Provide input for the development of the company budget and monitor departmental utilization. Payroll Administration, Implementation of a welfare and benefits package
  • Employee Relations: Implementation of employee wellbeing initiatives, Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation, Maintain and update policy manuals as well as employee handbooks as needed. In-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required, manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.

  • Learning and Development: Managing skills enhancement and professional development programmes within the allocated budget, Managing the design and delivery of training programmes in accordance with the needs of the Company, Evaluating the effectiveness of all trainings and L&D activities to identify areas of improved performance and to feed into future plans, Providing reports to management identifying Learning & Development trends and return on investment analyses.
  • Business Partnering and Organizational Development (Performance Management, and Engagement): Conduct monthly meetings with respective business units, Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.HR metrics measurement, monitoring and tracking, Implement Culture Change processes, Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention, Conduct the Performance Management process within group of assigned responsibility, Collect ongoing information regarding satisfaction of employee on salary packages and wage, working conditions etc., Implementation of tactical plans targeted at improving employee performance and engagement

3.) Senior Electrician

Job Title: Senior Electrician

Location: Anambra
Reporting to: Head of Engineering

Job Description

  • We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team in our Internal Control and Audit Department.

Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for inspecting, installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems of both injection and blow molding machines and equipment.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of repairs and maintenance works, safety, cost-effective.
  • Have oversight and leadership of shift electrical maintenance team, including organizing the shift activities to support the various manufacturing activities and general electrical related issues in the company.
  • Collaborate across lines (engineering maintenance & production stakeholders) and with other team members as required to maintain cohesive, responsive team work that achieve production targets.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on electrical system control equipment such as lighting, injection and blow machines, foiling machines, power supply, air compressors, pumps, servo motor and drive etc.
  • Inspects electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify faults, hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with NEC.
  • Improve daily electrical maintenance work to minimize machine breakdown and production downtime.
  • Maintain an up to date records related to work performed by the team including uncompleted task, leftover materials/spare parts and proper handover to the next shift.
  • Ensure that team abide by safety regulations during manufacturing activities, keeping equipment in check to avoid electrical hazards that could cause harm to other.
  • Communicate with other shift head and production supervisors to inform them about completed work, equipment faults and best maintenance techniques to implement for maximum performance.
  • Prioritize daily work orders according to their level of importance to meet deadline.
  • Implement a total planned preventive maintenance program which follows manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures as designed.
  • Perform any other assignment by unit head.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum academic qualification in National Diploma (Electrical / Electronics) from a recognized institution. City & Guilds (Engineering / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation).
  • 3 - 5 years electrical experience in production environment, preferably plastics industries.
  • Knowledge of Haitian and JagMohan machines is a plus.
  • A strong working knowledge of technical training, fault finding, troubleshooting techniques on Injection and Blow Molding Machines is a must.
  • Good communication (Written and Oral) skills.
  • High level of personal responsibility and accountability for results.
  • Good understanding of electrical, electronics and instrumentation processes.
  • Ability to interpret electrical, electronics and instrumentation processes.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize completing needs and meet deadlines.
