1.) Finance Assistant

Job Title: Finance Assistant

About this Role

  • The regional finance assistant will support the regional finance officers in carrying out various finance operations and inventory functions across the region towards achieving MSION goals and objectives.

 Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, coding and payment of third-party, vendors, and staff payment requests.
  • Reviewing, coding and payment of training allowances and bills.
  • Update and monitor payment and expenditure tracker
  • Utilize designated regional email accounts to receive payment requests and retirements, review for accuracy and completeness before downloading for further treatment by line manager.
  • Treat monthly advances and retirements in accordance with the policy
  • Review stock requisition form and assists in issuance and distribution of commodities and/or consumables to team members and local distributors
  • Monitor and update the bin card with movement of stock. Log all incoming stock items.
  • Assist in conducting month-end, quarterly and year-end stock count exercise
  • Update store temperature log.
  • Support RFOs on all statutory obligations such as tax remittance and tax filing. Save all receipts and returns documents appropriately.
  • Any other roles assigned by line manager.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • First Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance.
  • One (1) Year Post NYSC experience in Finance related field.
  • Student Member of ICAN is an added advantage.

Job Summary

  • The Compliance Manager will support to provide an independent, objective assurance and risk evaluation designed to add value and improve the organization's operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement MSION's annual internal audit/compliance plan·
  • Identify and collate MSION's Internal & External Risks and suggest ways to mitigate the risks to the compliance unit and the SMT.
  • Interact with various departments for MSION's policy development and modification.
  • Evaluate MSION’s projects/business processes and transactions to analyze productiveness of controls and risk alleviation.

  • Perform all assigned financial review, operational review, and the review of administrative processes and systems by the country director.
  • Daily transaction reviews for the support office, centres, regional offices & the Social Marketing unit.
  • Provide quality recommendation to the country director, the SMT and the business units to improve internal control systems

About this Role

  • The DMO will work with the Integrated Marketing & Communication and other units within Marie Stopes International Organisation Nigeria (MSION) to drive customer growth via new media channels and maintain a strong and competitive online presence for MSION’s operational environments.
  • This role is to analyse customer behaviour data from social media platforms and company web pages and create demand generation and content strategies to build the MSION Brand. The success of this role will be in driving customer growth, and by extension usage of MSION services by our target audience.
  • The DMO will work closely with the Contact Centre Coordinator, Corporate Services Coordinator and Demand Creation Lead as well as the Channel Leads, initializing internal resources to develop impactful campaigns that drive real business results.
  • She will support all demand generation efforts including mid-funnel campaign execution and content campaign distribution. This individual will also assume responsibility as the Admin of the MSION social media digital platforms.

Summary of Responsibilities
The role holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Development of Digital Marketing Campaigns for the MSION brand and products.
  • Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website and grow social media engagements.
  • Collaborate effectively in creating tactical campaigns around calendar dates that are considered important to MSION.
  • Develop relatable monthly content for both social and web.
  • Timely deployment of all content and timely engagement of the brand's audience across channels.
  • Write campaign copies and messaging for all digital communication efforts.
  • Overseeing the social media engagement and effective community management for the MSION brand and products.

Details of Responsibilities
Management of MSION Digital Platforms:

  • Build, execute, and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp, Twitter, Snapchat, Tok-tok, MSION Website, etc
  • Develop and manage MSION overall online presence
  • Own and optimize customer growth funnel and pipeline, including additions/changes to customer segments, strategies for reaching those customers, and optimizing company activities to drive conversion of potential customers
  • Create plans and advise on the creation of original and unique content to drive awareness and grow audience
  • Analyse competitor brands and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote marketing content
  • Host a media platform that galvanizes relevant news items and operational updates to catalyse interactions and enhance organisational visibility while ensuring messaging alignment
  • Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns; assess results against goals (ROI and KPIs).

Promotion and management of assigned parts of corporate and other social events:

  • Collaborate with the Communications, External Relations and Advocacy Unit and others to create campaign talking points, social media toolkits, and other communication strategy documents and maintain a highly effective social and engagement calendar, including an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Collaborate with Channel Leads to apply KPIs, analytics, and insights to better profile, target, and retarget prospects; drive continual optimization of campaign performance
  • Create a buzz on social media about MSION activities in Nigeria
  • Keep a Calendar of memorable days in the health industry and create social media presence for MSION through blogs, chats, timelines, posts, podcasts, comics, skits, e- posters, etc to commemorate such days
  • Identify with relevant Bloggers and influencers to establish a continuum of social media presence for MSION brands and activities
  • Develop new media communication items during national and international events to generate attention and enhance the visibility of the MSION Brand.

Administrative and Cross Cutting Duties:

  • Admin level management, measurement and reporting responsibilities with tools like CRM, CMS, marketing automation and attribution modelling

Overall Responsibilities

  • Working with and reporting to Business Manager Centre, the Clinic Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the activities of the Marie Stopes Clinic and ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of clinical services. Specific responsibilities will include:

Strategy and Planning:

  • Contribute towards MSION’s strategy and future programme direction, with particular focus on driving MSI Nigeria Clinics towards sustainability and increasing access to quality healthcare, family planning and SRH services in Nigeria through proper clinical services
  • Contribute to annual business plans and facilitating the business planning process (service target setting and activity planning in MSION-Clinics)
  • Assist the development of project ideas and providing input into proposals to attract donor funds
  • Prepare clinical services annual targets and when approved, ensures their implementation.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide overall leadership and direction to the Clinic team in ensuring the achievement of MSI Nigeria’s mission and strategic objectives, as well as targets of the clinic
  • Coordinate the different clinic units (OPD, OR, Lab.) and be responsible for the deployment, supervision and performance appraisal of clinic staff in accordance with MSION personnel policies.
  • Ensure an effective communication flow within the clinic and other units of MSION program, technical and operational teams.
  • Establish the priorities and focus of the clinic team and ensure proper coordination
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical services provided by the medical team and control the quality
  • Developing strong business and management capacity amongst the clinic team

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Conform to the critical service standards established for the clinic and the medical team.
  • Provide therapeutic patient care in accordance with the patients care code, established by the Clinical Unit, within scope of practice.
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of client care and the confidentiality of all cases, in accordance with accepted standard medical practices and professional code of conduct.
  • Own and manage the entire service delivery process, including providing general outpatient care, antenatal care, family planning, counseling services, and disseminating health education/ information, amongst others.
  • Prepare and submit work programmes and daily/monthly reports of the clinic.
  • Liaise, as necessary, with government and non-governmental agencies to promote MSION’s interest.
  • Collaborate in the evaluation of clinical programmes and service diversification, and the subsequent application of research findings.

Resource Management:

  • Approve supplies’ requests and issuance and authorizes financial payments as per the organization’s financial policy
  • Assist in the reviews of clinic service charges.
  • Perform administrative duties essential for the day-to-day running of the clinic.
  • Identify, propose and when approved, implement introduction of new service programmes/packages for the enhancement of the clinic towards provision of quality care and the sustainability of the clinic.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly budget of the clinic

Required Qualifications
Education:

  • MBBS or its Medical qualification equivalent
  • Any professional Certification in Quality, Clinical/ Medical Administration or any other related discipline

Experience:
