1.) Maintenance Planner

 

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • To manage maintenance planning activities and in turn improve productivity, asset reliability and effective integration of man, machines, methods and money.

The Job

  • Develop, maintain, and improve continuously preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Schedule all planned maintenance and remedial work orders after assessing resource requirements such as labour, skills, and spare parts.
  • Plan parts, materials, and labour for short- and long-term preventative maintenance to maximize technician wrench time, improve efficiency, increase system reliability and performance.
  • Configure and drive CMMS/EAM usage with the OEM recommended maintenance as a minimum.
  • Coordinate planning and scheduling meetings and ensure effective communication between maintenance and operations.
  • Support business initiatives on lean manufacturing goals, waste elimination, TPM, TQM, and other asset reliability programs.
  • Prepare reports, analyze data and make recommendations for improving and solving maintenance related problem

Qualifications

  • HND / B.Sc in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related course.
  • Proficiency in use of enterprise asset management tools and Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS).

Experience:

  • At least 3 years cognate experience.
  • Knowledge of oil production or any other manufacturing machines and maintenance, experience in utility management.

2.) Supervisor - Premium Edible Oil Products

 

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • To ensure the smooth operation of the refinery plant to ensure maximum productivity in the most efficient manner.

The Job

  • Monitor and maintain specific usage of chemical, energy, water etc.. daily
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene standard as approved by the Company.
  • Ensure commitment and compliance to high-quality product and standards
  • Assist production maintenance team in the periodic serving and overhaul of machinery used in the event of a breakdown.
  • Ensure commitment and compliance to all food safety programs and standards.
  • Report refinery parameters, KPI’s daily.
  • Oversee the refinery process to meet with daily KPI’s.

Qualifications

  • OND in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or related course.

Experience:

  • 2 - 3 years cognate experience in related field
  • Vegetable Oil refining and fractionation experience.

The Person Must:

  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have excellent leadership qualities.
  • Have strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
  • Have sound Mechanical abilities.

3.) Production Officer - Premium Edible Oil

 

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • Supervise the operation of process plant through an automated system.

The Job

  • Prepare and submit reports of products to the process manager daily, weekly and monthly
  • Ensure that refined edible oil produced are of high quality and standards
  • Ensure that the process parameters and specifications are adhered to Prevent and control hazards and accidents by ensuring machines are in good condition.
  • Prepare and execute routine or breakdown maintenance of all refinery.
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene standard.
  • Ensure commitment and compliance to all safety programs and standards
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (QC, HSE, Tank farm, utility)
  • Be aware of identified food safety risks, opportunities, and consequences inherent in the departmental/work processes concerning FSMS requirements and where applicable.
  • Understand the company’s food safety policy, its objective, and the benefits of an improved food safety management system.

Qualifications

  • First Degree in Engineering or related course
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office such as Excel will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 2 -3 years cognate experience as a Production Officer or related position.
  • Vegetable oil refining experience.
  • HSE knowledge would be a plus.

The Person Must:

  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have Excellent analytical and Numeracy skills.
  • Ensure that all GMP and safety rules are followed 100% of the time
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (% of deviations & non-conformance).

4.) Information Technology Officer - Golden Sugar Company

 

Location: Nigeria

The Purpose

  • We are looking for an experienced skilled information technology candidate who will be responsible for supporting network databases and systems, updating system hardware and software and troubleshooting for system errors.

The Job

  • Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents and minimize end-user, IT Services downtime.
  • Responsible for the configuration and installation of approved software on all company-supplied computers.
  • Responsible for configuring and installing all hardware, either directly or indirectly, for Golden Sugar Company.
  • Accountable for liaison and corrective action on all internet and connectivity issues.
  • In charge of running telephone network services.
  • In charge of specifying and ensuring the purchase of all GSC computer equipment.
  • In charge of diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving computer hardware and software issues.
  • Tracks and maintains computer equipment inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with QMS and FSMS requirements in assigned work.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc / HND qualification in Computer Science or its equivalent.
  • ITIL, CCNA and other IT Certifications will be an added advantage.
  • 2 - 3 years in a similar role.

  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of IT Service Delivery.
  • Good managerial skills.

5.) Human Resource Advisor

 

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • Manage the Administrative and Operational responsibilities of the Third-party desk ensuring FMN policies and principles are compiled with by all service providers.

The Job

  • Manage the relationship with Outsourced Service providers to ensure that all Third-party staff administrative matters are excellently implemented in line with FMN policies and procedures.
  • Actively Engage Service providers, site representatives and ensuring all requests are promptly handled and problems escalated for solutions.
  • Drive reporting with data to provide Management with insights to drive decision making on Outsourced Employees
  • Manage budget, ensuring headcount and cost are within approved figures
  • Monitor Agencies to ensure monthly invoices are received and treated on time for payment to third party employees.
  • Ensure implementation of appropriate sanction on erring Outsourced Agency
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual 3rd party reports are prepared as at when due.
  • Work with various departments, assisting line managers to design and implement policies and procedures on Third Party Matters.
  • Ensure implementation and prompt renewal of Group Life and Employees Compensation Act policies as at when due.
  • Conduct bi-annual customer service satisfaction survey ensuring feedback from the Business Units and Talent Services are collated for resolutions.

Qualifications

  • First Degree in Human Resources or any related field of study
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, power point)
  • Membership in the National Institute of Project Management will be a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferably similar responsibility of managing Outsourced Employees.

The Person Must:

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ensure that the Third-party service provider’s organizational policy align with that of Flour Mills of Nig. Plc.
  • Ensure Prompt resolution on complaints and issues from the BU on any Third-Party Employee related matter.
  • Ensure FMN Policies and Procedures are complied with by all Service Providers and Third-Party Employees.

6.) Flexible Packaging Sales Manager - Bagco

 

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • Responsible for prospecting and developing business opportunities for the sales of  flexible packing materials within the FMCG sector to diversify and improve company’s market share, grow existing relationships and establish new business to achieve overall sales target and company business objectives.

The Job

  • Research into clients packaging material needs and make appropriate recommendations to address the need, based on the product type and structure of the packaging materials.
  • Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization to enhance prospecting and improve relationship management.
  • Responsible for Key Accounts Management relating to development and sales of packaging solutions to businesses.

Experience:

  • 7- 12 years cognate experience in the manufacturing industry especially the flexible packaging sector.
  • Proven experience selling flexible packaging materials & strong grasp of B2B enterprises in the Nigerian FMCG industry.

The Person Must:

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have solid managerial skills.
  • Have expertise discovering and turning potential prospects into customers.
