1.) Head of Category - Home Care
Job Title: Head of Category - Home Care

Reports to: Head of Marketing, Family Care
Job Purpose
- Utilise a thorough understanding of the African consumer, customer and competitor environment to develop compelling category/brand strategies, aligned to group brand strategies
Significant Relationships
(Internal & external):
- Regional Marketing team
- Brand Activation team
- Cross-functional teams from Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR, NPD, Consumer Insight, Digital
- Advertising agencies & Service providers
Key Accountabilities
- Create and develop category/brand strategies to grow the category/brands market share volume/value and profitability
- Support the delivery of overall budgeted profitability of the Category by developing solid brand strategies that grow and sustain brand performance
- Monitor and report the regional category performance through brand health indicators (NNS, GM, MC) and key consumer KPIs (awareness, trial, attribute rating etc.)
- Explore & exploit new growth opportunities for the category.
- Lead the NPD process ensuring that its requirements are managed and delivered according to targets with clear hand over to CBUs at Gate 2
- Collate regional consumer insights and output from research plans to feed into the development of the brand strategy
- Define pricing policy for products within the category/brand portfolio in the Region
- Ensure development of regional communication material aligned to the category/brand strategy and that support the delivery of CBU brand plans
- Participate actively in company-wide initiatives as required – e.g. Margin Improvement
- Proactively identify sources and resource needs to support brand growth

Qualification, Experience & Competencies
Qualifications Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Over 7 years demonstrated experience in Brand Management
- Professional Qualification in Marketing is essential
- Post graduate degree is desirable
- IT savvy including the use of MS Office Suite of Applications

2.) Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities
- Carry out prompt quality Control activities cutting across in-process checks, results from the laboratory and inspection of final packaging quality of finished goods.
- Take charge of all production activity as regards quality per shift and enforces good hygiene during production.
- Conduct final inspection on products in store and ensure that status labels are well placed on products and materials.
- Involve in the full coverage of the entire manufacturing processes by monitoring and controlling of the quality of intermediates and finished products.
- Anchors the responsibility of ensuring that manufacturing batch records and Lot packaging records are filled adequately to ensure complete documentation.
- Generate routine QA compliance shift reports and communicates all non-compliance observations and the corrective action taken in the reports as well.
- Carry out the withdrawal of retain samples for storage to ensure representative retention of Products before the expiration of such products and ensuring full inventory of retained samples with GMP expectations on documentation.
- Partake in all trouble shooting activities that may occur on production lines to ensure that the root cause is identified and solution found without compromising quality.
- Carry out the general quality inspection of finished goods/raw materials in the warehouse and other storage rooms to ensure finished goods/raw materials are kept at specified storage conditions.
- To ensure compliance with relevant QMS, Food Safety, OHS & EMS policies and procedures. To identify and rate aspects for the departmental (QA) activities and develop programs where necessary, to help control those aspects that could have adverse impact on the environment.

3.) Warehouse Specialist

Responsibilities
- Store, stack or palletize material in accordance with prescribed storage and shipping methods;
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested;
- Operate power lifts, hand trucks, carts and other material handling equipment in performing warehousing duties;
- Other logistics duties as assigned in response to contractual reporting or mission requirements;
- Shipping and Receiving support;
- Respond to requests from warehouse lead for logistics support as required;
- examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage;
- noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages;
- selected candidate may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties;
- rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials;
- Oversees inventory and maintains required Table of Allowances (TOA) material in warehouse locations, to include shelf life surveillance;
- Other duties may include;
- Material handling, packaging, marking, movement;
- routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods;
- Forklift or equipment operations.
Qualifications
- First Degree in any discipline
- 3 – 4 years’ experience
- Significant experience in warehouse/logistics management
- Good understanding of inventory planning
