1.) Diesel Mechanic - HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery) - x2

Job Title: Diesel Mechanic - HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery)

Location: Ogijo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are Looking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic with expertise in Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment such as excavators, Forklifts, Sino dumpers, JCB loaders, Mobile cranes and other mining or construction machinery.
  • You will ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficiency with a strong focus on safety and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular servicing, inspection, and preventive maintenance of HEMM vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and related systems.
  • Conduct repairs and overhauls on engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic components.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in the procurement of spare parts and ensure proper inventory management.
  • Respond to on-site breakdowns and provide quick resolutions to reduce downtime.
  • Calibrate and test machinery to ensure optimal performance post-repair.
  • Collaborate with operators and other technicians for troubleshooting and maintenance planning.

Qualifications & Experience

  • ITI/Diploma in Diesel Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering or Relevant.
  • Minimum 05 years of experience in HEMM maintenance .
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics tools.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with computerized maintenance systems (CMMS).
  • Valid driving license and certification in HEMM operation (preferred).
  • Familiarity with safety practices and risk assessments in HEMM sites.

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician with expertise in Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
  • The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems and components of large mobile equipment used in mining, construction, or earthmoving operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, knowledge of advanced electrical systems, and experience working with equipment such as excavators, Sino dump trucks, Forklift , Mobile Cranes and JCB Pay loaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical faults on HEMM equipment.
  • Perform routine electrical maintenance to ensure operational safety and reliability.
  • Install and maintain wiring, control systems, lighting, and electronic components.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
  • Maintain and calibrate sensors, alternators, starters, lighting systems, and control panels.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and policies.
  • Complete service records and maintenance reports accurately.
  • Assist in overhauls and major repairs in collaboration with mechanical technicians.
  • Keep tools and workshop equipment clean and in good condition.

Qualifications and Experience

  • ITI/Diploma in Auto Electrical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience working on HEMM in a mining or heavy equipment environment.
  • Strong knowledge of 12V, 24V, and higher voltage systems used in mobile equipment.
  • Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and CANbus systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license: HEMM license is an advantage When Need to Drive Test of the machines .(if possible)

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with any kind of OEM equipment such as, Tata Hitachi, Sino Trucks , Zoom lion Forklifts , XCMG Mobile Cranes , Grove Cranes
  • Understanding of safety procedures in hazardous environments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in remote site conditions.

3.) Panel Beater

Job Title: Panel beater

Location: Ogijo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Making assessments of damaged vehicles, deciding how best to repair it and estimating the time and cost for the repair.
  • Mending rusted parts of a vehicle’s bodywork.
  • Removing any dents in panels.
  • Repairing minor scratches, or making replacement panels.
  • Welding new or repaired panels into place.
  • Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer.
  • Keeping records of all work carried out.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an FSLC, NCE, OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.

Job Title: Grove Crane / Mobile Crane Operator

Description

  • A Grove Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating a Grove mobile crane to lift, move, and position heavy loads on a Manufacturing site, Performing pre-shift inspections, adhering to safety regulations, coordinating with other crew members, and ensuring the stability of the crane during lifting operations, all while maintaining a clean and safe work environment;
  • Requiring a strong understanding of crane mechanics, load calculations, and site safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Crane Operation:

  • Operate a Grove crane to lift, move, and precisely position heavy materials according to project plans.
  • Maneuver the crane boom and hook to reach designated lifting points.
  • Monitor load weight and crane stability during lifting operations.
  • Utilize crane controls to adjust lifting speed and direction.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an NCE, OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.

Brief Job Description with Purpose of role

  • As a Teemer man, you will be responsible for handling the teeming process in Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) operations.
  • Your key responsibilities will include ensuring smooth and efficient casting operations, maintaining equipment, and upholding safety and quality standards.
  • You will play a crucial role in managing ladle flow, controlling casting parameters, and ensuring defect-free billet production.

Key Responsibilities
Teeming and Casting Operations:

  • Operate and control the teeming process during CCM operations.
  • Ensure defect-free billet casting through proper temperature and flow control.
  • Monitor casting parameters and adjust as required for smooth operations.

Slide Gate and Ladle Management:

  • Operate and maintain theSlide Gate mechanismto regulate molten metal flow.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of ladle refractory systems.
  • Perform Oxygen Lancing in Ladle Slide Gate nozzles to ensure smooth metal flow.

Quality & Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs)for teeming operations.
  • Ensure safety compliance during handling of molten metal.
  • Conduct regular temperature measurements of molten metal to maintain casting quality.

Breakdown Handling & Preventive Maintenance:

  • Identify and troubleshoot CCM casting issues related to teeming operations.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to resolve Slide Gate and ladle refractory problems.
  • Keep detailed records of operational parameters and maintenance activities.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Academic qualification:

  • HND / B.Eng. in Mechanical / Metallurgy Engineering.
  • Hands on Experience on the job is amust
  • Science graduates with relevant experience may also apply.

Experience:

  • Min 10 years Experience as Teemer Man

Core Functional Experience:

  • Independent Casting: Should be able to cast heat independently, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Slide Gate Mechanism: Expertise in Slide Gate operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Ladle Refractory Operation: Understanding of ladle refractory maintenance and performance optimization.
  • Temperature Measurement: Knowledge of temperature measurement techniques for molten metal.
  • Oxygen Lancing: Experience in Oxygen Lancing for Ladle Slide Gatenozzle maintenance and opening.

Job Description

  • As a CNC Operator, you will be an integral part of the Rolling Mill Operations team,.
  • Your role will involve operating CNC machines to perform various tasks related to roll pass cutting, machining, Lathe machine, Notching & branding and branding machine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Roll Pass Cutting for Mill Rolls and other Machining as per drawing
  • Understanding of Technical Parameters of the Machining Job and Machine Capacity
  • CNC Programming and Data Entering of different types of Pass Profiles
  • To prepare RIB Cutting and Branding in the Finishing Mill Rolls.
  • To Operate general purpose machines in Roll Shop
  • To carry out Periodical checking of Machineries and Equipment’s of Roll Shop.
  • To carry out routine maintenance jobs of the Roll Shop Machineries.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND / HND qualification with 2 - 5 years relevant work experience.

Core Functional Experience:

  • Good Knowledge of Rolling Mill in a steel industry.
  • Good Knowledge of Operations of ReheatingFurnaces.
  • Knowledge of Roll Pass Design
  • Knowledge of Standards for Rolled Products
  • To provide technical support to the superiors in investigation and resolution of problem areas.
  • To prepare and submit the daily reports to the concerned shift in charges
  • To ensure compliance with HSE, PPE Standards and Procedures and aim at Zero Accidents.
  • To implement work procedures and records confirming to ISO for Rolling Mills.
  • To perform additional tasks as desired by Superiors from time to time.
