1.) Area Sales Manager

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Job Description

  • Responsible for overseeing sales operations within your region, meeting targets, and managing the sales teams.
  • Upskill and motivate Advisors and Agency Managers to effectively implement sales strategies for retail insurance sales.
  • Passionately represent the company and actively contribute to the growth and development of the Alpha Sales Force.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team whilst meeting other key performance indicators set out per year.
  • Negotiate rates with underwriters when required.
  • Review Agency Managers sales reports to establish trends and identify areas of improvement.
  • Identify trends in Retail business and proactively advise Group Head on potential actions to take.
  • Identify and source new channels for recruitment and engagement of Advisors/Team Managers.
  • Formulate sales strategies for life and health insurance products and achieve set sales targets.
  • Identify and escalate actual and/or potential operational and administrative issues to the Group Head.
  • Any other assignments given by the Head, Entrepreneurial Sales Group or the Head, Retail Division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field from a reputable tertiary institution.
  • Professional qualifications (i.e. CII, CIIN or other of similar equivalence) will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Financial Services of which 4 years should be in the Insurance Business (Underwriting, Sales or Operations)
  • Ability to analyse and interpret sales data to inform sales strategies.
  • Good time management supervisory and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and presentation skill.
  • High degree of professionalism and good business etiquette.

2.) Product Officer (Growth)

Job Summary

  • The Product Officer (Growth) will be instrumental in driving growth initiatives, analysing market trends, and supporting strategic projects to enhance our firm’s performance, market presence and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive category-specific client engagement via email marketing, reporting, social media, blogs, etc., working with the sales and portfolio management teams on market research and content.

3.) Information Risk Management and Control Analyst

Job Title: Information Risk Management and Control Analyst

Job Summary

  • To enhance and fortify the company’s policies on operational, emerging, information, and internal control risks, and to establish a uniform framework for systematically identifying, assessing, mitigating, reporting, monitoring, and managing significant risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders for the implementation of risk management framework and related standards

Job Title: Team Member, Group Product and Underwriting

Job Overview

  • The purpose of the role is to sustain a market leading position in the health insurance market segment within Nigeria through effective and efficient oversight of Underwriting, product and pricing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with underwriting, risk profiling and profitability assessment of Group products for both new and renewal businesses, including local and international products.
