Responsibilities

  • Customer Advocate – Develops and oversees the execution of account plan(s) to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer outcomes are met.
  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, to promote mutually beneficial customer digital transformation strategies.
  • Orchestrate full customer team across all areas of Microsoft to ensure we are focused on delivering customer outcomes across the customer lifecycle to build deep trust with Microsoft.
  • Industry Relevant Trusted Seller – Proactively develops a strong understanding of the customer’s business, industry priorities to drive new business opportunities/ drive growth/net new business within the energy sector
  • Advocates on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring requests and needs of assigned accounts are being addressed.
  • Deliver Sales Excellence – Leads and orchestrates extended virtual teams across our solution areas to consistently achieve growth in revenue & market share.
  • Industry Knowledge – Builds and maintains a strong knowledge of customers’ industry, associated business strategy, and key industry partners and solutions. Gains deeper insights and knowledge through direct engagement in their customers’ business and operations.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in working in an industry (Financial Service) driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
    • OR bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in an industry (Financial Service), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
    • OR master’s degree in business administration AND 4+ years’ experience working in an industry (Financial Service), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)

Qualifications

You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Prior experience as a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), engaging with stakeholders at all levels within enterprise organisations to drive solution adoption, transformation, and business impact.
  • Experience conducting Business Value Assessments (BVA) and be confident leading ROI-focused conversations that demonstrate the strategic impact of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to influence strategic decisions and drive enterprise-wide solution adoption.

Technical knowledge
Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O):

  • Deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O, including development experience in X++ across at least two modules: sales, services, marketing, or customer insights.
  • Proven ability in debugging and performance troubleshooting, including use of Trace Parser.
  • Solid understanding of performance patterns and anti-patterns.

Architecture & Lifecycle Management:

  • Strong grasp of Microsoft Azure cloud computing fundamentals.

  • Familiarity with integration patterns and anti-patterns across Business Applications.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for application lifecycle management.

  • Collaborate with the CELA Africa Government Affairs Leads to provide general policy and government affairs support, utilizing consultants as needed.
  • Support team efforts through research, preparing comparative analysis, translations, checklists and summaries.
  • Assist with drafting agreements for the marketing, sale, licensing and distribution of Microsoft Products and Services.

  • You must be legally authorised to work in Kenya, Nigeria or Egypt to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).
  • Excellent knowledge of technology and emerging policy issues around AI, cloud computing, and data governance.
  • Written and oral fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of prior experience in a related field, such as government relations, regulatory affairs, public policy, law or technology.
  • Fluency in Arabic and French.
  • 1+ years experience in developing and managing strategic relationships to advocate and influence public/technology policy priorities.
  • Ability to analyse, conceptualize, and visualize information and data.
  • The ability to review, draft, or contribute to policy documents, briefing notes, whitepapers, advocacy materials.
  • Demonstrated ability of Africa’s public sector dynamics or regional governance institutions (e.g. African Union, ECOWAS, EAC, SADAC).
