1.) Head of Accounts

Job Title: Head of Accounts

Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire accounting function, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and statutory compliance.
  • Consolidate financials from multiple outlets and ensure accurate, timely reporting of daily sales, cash flow, and profitability.
  • Partner with operations to monitor food cost, wastage, and store-level expenses — ensuring adherence to budget and profitability targets.
  • Prepare and present monthly management reports, highlighting trends, risks, and actionable insights.
  • Oversee audit processes, taxation, and regulatory filings.
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls across cash handling, vendor payments, and inventory management.
  • Evaluate financial systems and processes; recommend and drive automation or technology solutions where possible.
  • Develop and mentor the accounting team to build a high-performing, detail-driven finance function.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 5 - 10 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role ideally within the QSR, hospitality, or retail sector.
  • Strong command over restaurant P&L, cost of goods sold (COGS), and outlet-level financial operations.
  • Proven experience working with POS systems, inventory software, and accounting ERPs (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle NetSuite).
  • Sharp analytical skills and an eye for operational detail.
  • A proactive mindset someone who spots inefficiencies and acts before they become issues.

2.) Accounts Officer

Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Wuse 2 - Apo Mall, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile daily sales from POS and cash registers across outlets.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, and receipts into accounting software.
  • Monitor and reconcile cash, bank, and petty cash balances.
  • Track and process vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and utility bills.
  • Support monthly stock count and reconcile inventory variances with the store and kitchen teams.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial summaries for management.
  • Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and expense monitoring.
  • Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions (e.g., VAT, PAYE, pension).
  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
  • Maintain proper filing and safeguarding of financial records.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2 - 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a Quick Service Restaurant or retail environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
