1.) Agricultural Category Manager

Location: Lagos
Type: 3 months contract (with the possibility of extension)

Role Summary

The Agricultural Category Manager is a short-term role required for the completion of an ongoing project in the Company. The ideal candidate should have vast knowledge of Agriculture and major stakeholders within the Southwestern states of Nigeria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the below functions and beyond:

Acquire Agro dealers/ suppliers, who would be on-boarded on Konga.com
Facilitate and provide a monitoring model that ensures farmers (small scale and large scale) are able to shop for agricultural inputs on Konga.com
Facilitate individuals/ ground agents that can help farmers to shop for agricultural input on Konga.com
Promote the model and access to B2B and Bulk clients for agricultural inputs
Ability to travel within the south-western region should the need arise
In addition, he or she must be resident or willing to reside in Lagos to be able to function effectively.

Professional Skills & Qualifications Required

Bachelor's Degree
Experienceand vast knowledge of Agricultural systems, products, market and major stakeholders/players within the Southwestern states of Nigeria.

Purpose

Develop and maintain high quality mobile applications.
Translate code into user-friendly apps.
Develop functional mobile applications
Design and build the next generation of Konga’s mobile applications.
Implement new user interfaces and features together with automated unit and integration tests.
Ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience.

Responsibilities

Developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe models
Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application
Fixing bugs and performance problems
Writing clean, readable, and testable code
Cooperating with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solution
Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code

In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Familiarity with OOP design principles
Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
Ability to perform in a team environment
Extensive knowledge about mobile app development. This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s)
