Duties

  • The incumbent reports directly to the Senior Computer Management Specialist/Locally Employed (LE) Staff Systems Manager and indirectly to the Information Systems Officer.
  • Incumbent assists in planning and coordinating maintenance, upgrades, and support of servers, switches, and routers for the OpenNet and DIN network.
  • Job holder is responsible for the SharePoint Resource Management, Consular Affairs Systems management to include servers, workstations and peripheral devices.
  • Manages the Virtual Reality Studio which encompasses Employee VR training, 360 VR video and photo composition. Acts as back-up to the LE Staff Systems Manager.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the fields of Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Systems Management is required.

Experience:

  • Five (5) years experience in Computer networking, SharePoint development, Programming and System Administration on complex computer systems is required. At least one (1) year of project supervisory experience is required.

  • Advanced knowledge of computer equipment operations management, application programming, SharePoint development, Virtual Reality Studio management, local and wide area network operations to include Cisco products is required.
