Responsibilities
- Define the business strategy aligned to the customer's strategies by analyzing data, trends, client’s performance and business models, and identifying opportunities.
- Develop and maintain C-level relationships and serve as a point of contact to our customers with the goal of extending relationships, increasing the client’s growth, and optimizing the advertising resources.
- Develop strategic, forward thinking, data-driven analysis and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to clients.
- Establish and nurture sustainable relationships with advertisers, agencies, and ecosystem partners to serve as a trusted consultant.
- Educate the market on Google’s advertising solutions and contribute strategically to the growth, development, and direction of Google’s products and services in Sub Saharan Africa.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in media, business development, client relationships, and consulting.
- Experience in business and/or commercial leadership.
- Knowledge of, and established relationships within, the advertising industry.
- Knowledge of performance advertising, media strategy, consumer research, and campaign performance management.

2.) Developer Ecosystem Communities Lead
Location: Lagos
About the Job
- As a Developer Ecosystem Communities Lead, you will coordinate and manage scalable developer outreach and support programs, including the Google Developer Groups (GDG), Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC), and Women Techmakers (WTM) programs, across the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
- This would include responsibility for Google events, as well as having responsibility for content.
- You will meet with local region developers and companies, promoting Google technologies and programs.
- You will also track both the apps and developers from your region, and look at how Google can better spotlight both them and their apps.
- You will find creative ways to increase impact by working closely with technology hubs.
Responsibilities

As a Strategic Negotiator, you combine your deep market knowledge of a given sector with tech industry savvy to negotiate cost-effective solutions to support Google's infrastructure growth. You'll work with specific project teams on negotiating deals, managing vendor and partner relationships and presenting deal recommendations to our Tech leadership. Your successful negotiations have the potential to save Google millions of dollars in operating costs and impact every part of the business.

- Support conversations with strategic partners related to direct interconnection.
- Lead partnerships in tandem with our Legal, Treasury, Policy, and Tax teams.
- Articulate Google's peering and interconnect position in the region to internal and external stakeholders. Communicate progress internally and collaborate with network teams.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Science, Law, Policy, Economics, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working with telecommunications service providers acquiring or selling connectivity related solutions
- Experience selling or buying assets and solutions in emerging markets
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in negotiating complex agreements with ISP partners and/or Internet Exchanges
- Experience in negotiating wholesale agreements between carriers (e.g., roaming, wholesale, etc.)
- Proficient in internet concepts including routing (e.g., IGP/BGP), traffic management, interconnection, wholesale, and data center colocation services
- Knowledge of stakeholders, issues, and market trends within Africa
- Creative approach to solving unclear multi-stakeholder challenges.
