1.) Recovery Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Driving recovery process at both designated locations and SBU.
  • Conduct frequent recovery drives against recalcitrant debtors.
  • Engagement of focused and result-oriented Agents to work on debt recoveries.
  • Court attendance to monitor pending recovery cases in Court.
  • Collateral inspection of mortgaged assets.
  • Foreclosure on assets of debtors who are unwilling and /or unable to pay their debts.
  • Review and recommendation to Management on repayment plans submitted by Customers.
  • Work with the Court and Law Enforcement Agencies on Bank’s mortgaged assets being occupied by trespassers.
  • Initiate, monitor and follow up on petitions against fraudulent debtors to the Law Enforcement Agencies.
  • Rendition of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly recovery reports and updates to Management.
  • Provide the required clearance on Camsol/Camac confirmation.
  • Posting recoveries made by customers and charging off concluded accounts.
  • Maintain the security of all information entrusted to the staff.

Requirements
Education:

  • First Degree preferably in Law, Accountancy, Computer Science or other Social Science disciplines.

Experience:

  • Minimum experience: 2 years banking experience.

2.) Unit Head, Classified Assets Management

  • Working with FBN UK Limited to recover funds from debtors based in Africa.
  • Driving recovery process at both designated locations and SBU.
  • Design & implement recovery strategies within designated locations and SBU.
  • Conduct frequent recovery drives against recalcitrant debtors.
  • Engagement of focused and result-oriented Agents to work on debt recoveries.
  • Court attendance to monitor pending recovery cases in Court.
  • Collateral inspection of mortgaged assets.
  • Foreclosure on assets of debtors who are unwilling and /or unable to pay their debts.
  • Review and recommendation to Management on repayment plans submitted by Customers.
  • Work with the Court and Law Enforcement Agencies on Bank’s mortgaged assets being occupied by trespassers.
  • Ensure existence of insurance on assets securing RCAM accounts.
  • Initiate, monitor and follow up on petitions against fraudulent debtors to the Law Enforcement Agencies.
  • Rendition of weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly recovery reports and updates to Management & the Board.
  • Design of template for issuance of letter on non - indebtedness and processing of same from initiation to approval stages.
  • Provide the required clearance on Camsol/Camac confirmation.
  • Maintain the security of all information entrusted to the staff.

Requirements
Education:

  • First Degree preferably in Law, Accountancy, Computer Science or other Social Science disciplines.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant banking experience.

4.) Mechanical Coordinator - Cooling / Safety

Job Objective(s)

  • Ensure that the environment at head office and all branches (nationwide) are safe and conducive in terms of temperature, water/sewage management, fire safety and provision of vertical moving facilities.
  • Ensure regular virtual stakeholders’ engagement (Contractors, Vendors, internal customers etc.) on optimal performance and reliability of the Bank’s water services equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall sub-unit performance on cooling systems, elevator systems, borehole/ water/ sewage treatment plants and fire safety equipment.
  • Assisting the Head, Services Manager Mechanical Unit with initiating all capital improvement projects or programs including defining the project scope, determining the financial resources, identifying stakeholders internal and external Bank wide.
  • Supervise and manage all aspect of the day to day operations of cooling equipment, borehole / water/ sewage facilities, elevator system and fire safety equipment.
  • Coordinate team members’ activities to ensure individual and team goals are consistently achieved.
  • Monitor the operations of the cooling system in branches with the support of the Area General Services Officers in Area Offices Bank wide
  • Ensuring provision of potable water supply and maintenance of sewage treatment facilities at the Head Office and other Bank locations.
  • Manages and ensure that team operators for water / sewage treatment plant comply with health standard,
  • Plan retirement, budget for new cooling system, lift equipment’s, borehole and water treatment facilities and sewage facilities.
  • Responsible for securing approval / permit / certification from appropriate government agency.
  • Assist with the activities of Area General Services Managers Bank wide as regards to cooling equipment, water/ borehole/ sewage system, and elevator system and fire /safety equipment.
  • Provide Mechanical designs/ drawings for development of Bank buildings

  • Solve and predict issues before the occurring
  • Responsible for shortlisting of contractors, evaluation of bids/ proposal, negotiation and recommendation of contracts.
  • Coordinate the evaluation of internal customer requests, provide technical advice/solution and initiate proposal for Management approvals for cooling, fire, water/ borehole/ sewage and elevator systems
  • Responsible for monitoring and reviewing the business continuity of the water services contractors and vendors annually in conjunction with Vendor Management of the Bank
  • Responsible for risk management of water services equipment remotely to ensure continuous operation, maintenance and installation at bank branches

Job Requirements
Education:

  • First Degree or equivalent in Engineering etc.
  • Higher Degrees/Professional Certifications (an added advantage)

Experience:

  • Minimum experience: 5 years relevant experience needed and with at least 2 years in banking environment.

  • To ensure that all Risks and vulnerabilities associated with bank’s IT Network plaforms and related systems are promptly identified and mitigated appropriately.
  • Perform regular process reviews on different teams in IT department for Nigeria and African subsidiaries.

  • Perform reviews of user accounts and groups on the bank’s Network devices, servers, operating systems and ensure that privileges on these systems are granted on a need to use basis.
  • Ensure proper change control procedures over changes to the Network, DR, Servers, updates and patches.
  • Perform reviews to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of IT Network/Server security by checking for the enforcement of the following; System backups, server Hardening, Batch job security, Device File Security, physical access restriction etc.
  • Review the overall network security strategy including but not limited to Network design, Security policies, documentations, redundancies, Segmentations, Compartmentalization, virtualizations, Defense-in-depth, Penetration testing, Staffing structure, device hardening, patching,
  • Verify that appropriate controls are in place against vulnerabilities associated with the network through the prompt deployment of Fixes, Patches and service packs for CISCO devices, IOS and Windows Operating systems. Raise and document exceptions where applicable.
  • Maintain monthly statistics of link/device downtime for all branches and produce monthly system downtime reports as part of the overall control situation report of internal control.

Education

  • Minimum Education: First Degree in any Science or Engineering course, CISA or CISSP or IT related certification such as CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE).

Experience:

  • Minimum experience:  3 years relevant experience in information systems, auditing, control, or IT security work.
