1.) Graduate Trainee (Mechanical)

 

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Ability to understand project requirements, support project and bidding team and complete all duties assigned by the Supervisor,
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and diligence, develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs.
  • Ability to generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration.
  • Ability to shadow senior staff members, ask questions, and assist wherever possible.
  • Ability to conduct research and travel to sites, observing health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Ability to participate in meetings, attend workshops and other training initiatives. Analyze data and write reports according to specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field with previous experience in a technical field would be an advantage.
  • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability and ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Must be self-motivated, fast learner and a great team worker. Possess strong analytical, writing and communication skills, superb time management and professionalism.
  • Applicant should not be more than 27 years old and must live within Lekki and its immediate environment.

Job Summary

  • Our client is recruiting for an Executive Business Manager who would be responsible for leading and overseeing all operations and implementing strategies for a horizontal integrated businesses spanning; farm/poultry, chicken processing, cold-room, supermarket and others to ensure productivity in the company.

Job Description

  • Ability to plan and execute Business development strategy to improve profit and attain sales target of the horizontal chain of businesses (Farm/Poultry-Chicken Processing-Cold-room- supermarket) the organization manages.
  • Ability to create and implement processes for the horizontal chain of businesses and deal with all internal and external complaints, queries, and other related customer service issues.
  • Ability to plan and execute local and Regional marketing expansion for the horizontal chain of businesses (Farm/Poultry-Chicken Processing-Cold-room- supermarket).
  • Ability to initiate corrective actions, analyze variance, schedule expenditure, and prepare annual budget aside from achieving other financial objectives of the organization.
  • Ability to recruit and interview new staff for the supermarket, organize training, orientation and supervise all departmental managers. Discipline, counsel, and coach staff to maintain positive result generation
  • Ability to plan, create and execute Brand development and customer attraction programs. Recognize future and present requirements by customers and establish good rapport with existing and potential customers.

3.) Financial Accountant (Oil & Gas)

Job Description

  • Ability to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and maintain the general ledger.
  • Ability to code invoices, sets up new accounts, reconcile accounts, close the monthly books, reconcile bank accounts at least monthly, verify deposits, address inquiries from banks, verify payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
  • Ability to participate in risk assessment and risk management activities and manage accounts receivable collections.
  • Ability to analyse customer and client profitability index and value for cost-saving initiatives and coordinate company financial planning and budget management function and analyse benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance for departments.
  • Ability to prepare project feasibility reports and analyse business development opportunities
  • Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
  • Ability to prepare tax and file required tax forms with federal,and stateagencies and explain tax legislation and advise on the implications of changes in the tax laws.Advising on tax compliance.
  • Ability to performmonth-end and year-end close processes, prepare financial outlook and financial forecasts and monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and manage the preparation of management report of budget / actual revenues and expenses
  • Ability to maintain and implement short-range and long-range specialty / other reports, objectives, policies, and operating procedures and performs other related duties that will enhance profitability, productivity and going concern status of the company.

Qualifications Requirements

  • BSc / HND in Accounting with a minimum of 4 years focused experience as an accountant. All applicants must be chartered accountants.
  • Applicant must a self-driven, team player, proactive, reliable and detail-oriented person.
  • Applicant should not be above 35 years and he or she must be Proficient in accounting software and have audit and SAGE experience.
  • Applicant must be living within Lekki and its immediate environment.
