1.) English Programmes Project Officer

 

Location: Abuja, Nigeria
Pay Band: BRC-4-F
Contract Type: Indefinite Contract

Role Purpose

  • Supports the programme team in the implementation of programmes and projects in compliance with British Council policies and procedures including financial admin, reporting and data collection, operational project delivery and managing relations with delivery partners.

Main Accountabilities
Accountabilities but not limited to the following:

  • Holds vendors and suppliers to account for delivering services.
  • Plan and report on project financial plans and budget expenditure and forecasting to Programme Managers and Head of Programme Delivery; manages smaller budgets.
  • Responsible for data management including timely data entry, quality assurance of data, undertaking basic analysis of monitoring data, and developing progress reports to meet needs of funders.
  • Manages relationships with clients/partners/stakeholders at appropriate level.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience of working in a supporting role on programmes or projects.
  • Administrative and financial administration experience.
  • Good understanding of basic concepts of monitoring and evaluation, and how they are central to good project management.

Salary
N7, 363, 086 per annum

2.) State Office Admin and Resource Assistant

 

Location: Lagos
Pay band: 4
Contract type: Fixed Term- 31December 2022
Department: Cultural Engagement

Role Purpose

  • To provide logistical and administrative support to The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC)  programme in the Anambra office that will enable the programmes to achieve their outcomes and targets including close collaboration with the Abuja Office and other State Offices.
  • This is in line with the programme strategy, implementation plan and financial plan and to client and corporate standards..

Main Accountabilities

  • The post-holder ensure transport arrangements for all incoming staff/consultants to the state offices are in line with British Council policies.
  • Ensure hotel accommodation reservations are made on time and that staff and consultants are informed on arrangement of their transport and hotel arrangements.
  • Procurement of workshop items are in line with procurement policy.
  • Logistical support is provided to workshops, meetings and events according to stated requirements so that all workshops and events are carried out successfully and to agreed standards.
  • Maintain appropriate filing system, accountable stationary register and asset register (in liaison with the Facilities & Procurement Manager) so that all contracts, reports and correspondence are filed properly and all stationary and equipment is recorded correctly.
  • Liaise with all outside contractors and service suppliers concerning all services/utilities supplied to the state office.
  • Ensure the state office meets all the British Council’s standards around Health, Safety and Security.

Essential Requirements
The successful candidate will need to possess the following requirements:

  • Graduate level education

Role specific Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working on programme logistics for an international organization.
  • Experience of working as part of a successful team/function.
  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Basic IT skills including word and excel

Desirable requirements:

  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Experience of operating in a complex, multi-cultural context.
  • Experience of managing fleet of vehicles.

3.) Senior Marketing Manager, Exams, WA Cluster

Pay band: 7

  • This role is a new role as part of Marketing and Communications Transformation programme. In line with the Global Recruitment policy, standard application and recruitment decisions will apply for this role.

Role Purpose

  • The post holder will lead the development and execution of the cluster/country marketing strategy and plans, ensuring alignment to the regional and global marketing strategy and brand, and to work in partnership with SBUs to ensure that country marketing activities enable required business targets.
  • This role will be accountable for the planning, management, execution and evaluation of plans for the cluster, overseen by the Regional Head of Marketing, Exams.

Role Specific Knowledge and Experience
Essential: The successful candidate will need to possess the following requirements:

  • Degree or professional qualification in Marketing or Business
  • Significant experience in a marketing position at a national level within a large and complex organisation
  • Demonstrable experience of developing marketing strategies and plans
  • Demonstrable experience in managing supplier relationships

Desirable requirements:

  • Relevant professional accreditations e.g. CIM, Melcrum, GCN, CIPR, WOMMA etc.
  • Experience in a global organisation
  • Evidence of successful line management of a small team remotely
  • Experience in Exams market.

Role Specific Skills:

  • CIM Marketing Competencies.

Insights (Level 3):

  • Ensures their country requirements for research are considered at regional level to contribute to greater efficiency and consistency in the commissioning of market research.
  • Analyses and presents information from research and customer feedback as insights

Integrated marketing communications (Level 4):

  • Creates integrated marketing communications plans using both physical and digital tools
  • Implements integrated marketing communications plans using both physical and digital tools.

Partnership marketing (Level 4):

  • Reviews, establishes and develops channel/partnership marketing strategies to meet customer needs and achieve business goals
  • Manages and monitors the implementation of channel and/or partnership marketing plans to meet the needs of customers, channel partners and the organisation.

Monitoring and measuring effectiveness (Level 4):

  • Collects, synthesises, analyses and reports measurement data
  • Participates in reviews of marketing activities using measurement data and analytics to identify improvements
  • Uses social analytics and listening tools to identify improvements to organisational processes that will enhance social reputation

Requirements:

Salary
N18,180,443 Annually.
