1.) Shift Engineer, Operations
Location: Suleja, Niger

Job Summary
- The person holding this position will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all utility plant equipment and assist with maintenance tasks as assigned.
- They are also required to drive improvement across the site in terms of new machinery, hygiene, quality, and performance.
Job Duties
- Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring that there is always a rapid response and that plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimised. Always endeavour to reduce downtime of site plant and machinery.
- Deliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPI’s through planned, preventative & predictive maintenance;
- Maintaining tools and equipment, so that they are in a safe working condition; as well as making sure that the workshop and plant rooms are safe environments at all times.
- Always adhere to Technical procedures and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP);
- Make sure that there is good reporting and communication channels in place between Production, the Engineering team, and Engineering management;
- Responsible for all reactive and proactive maintenance work, whilst making sure it is carried out to the highest possible standards across the whole of the site.
- Maintains accuracy of shift operating logs, records, time sheets, work orders and other administrative documents related to the power plant.
- Investigates plant problems, incidents, accidents and unusual events, and provides analyses, recommendations, reports, and appropriate follow-up plans.
- Develops, assists, and revises operations and maintenance related procedures.
- Performs routine preventive and predictive maintenance on all systems and equipment; supports corrective maintenance efforts on selected equipment when properly trained or supervised.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND / B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering Degree.
- 2 years minimum experience in Plant Operations as a shift Operations Engineer.
- Experience of working in a chilled or frozen environment preferable;
- Experience in managing contractors on-site.
- Knowledge of and experience in: mechanical maintenance, rigging, rotating machine repair, fabrication, machine alignment, basic vibration analysis, and using electrical test equipment.
- Ability to locate, trouble-shoot, and adjust defects in mechanical equipment and/or maintain, install, modify and trouble-shoot plant electrical systems and equipment.
- Ability to operate and maintain various analytical and test equipment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Salary
130,000 - 170,000 monthly

2.) Shift Foreman, Operations

Job Duties
- Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel.
- Delegating Individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors.
- Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, plant engineers and other officials.
- Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training.
- Implement changes to the departments safety program, and lead tours and employee audits for lock-out and PPE.
- Manage quality communication, customer support and product representation for each client.
- Certify CNC machinist using different types of lathes and computer base machines.
- Work with team to assist with ISO requirements.
- Prioritize and delegate work orders to ensure plant run properly and efficiently.
- Conduct ISO internal audits and create shift reports waste and production reports for upper management.
- Assist with troubleshooting EFM data collection systems integrate with SCADA.
- Perform daily analysis on well deliquification progress using SCADA system, WellView, decline analysis, and historical production.
- Fabricate and Tig welding coupling that joins components for chain slings used for overhead lifting.
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken.

3.) Shift Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
- The candidate is responsible for providing professional Electrical Engineering service and technical support to Maintenance and Operation departments for the re-design, modification, re-engineering and retro-fitting of electrical equipment to improve quality and productivity.
Job Duties
- Analyzes and defines electrical equipment problems to improve quality and productivity, to repair damaged equipment, to save money and to improve production line up-time.
- Re-designs, re-engineers and/or retro-fits electrical equipment that needs upgrading.
- Investigates and analyzes electrical problems, defines and scopes projects, makes engineering drawings or layouts, writes engineering reports, makes cost estimates, obtains bids, writes work orders, makes recommendations to management, obtains approval to purchase necessary equipment and materials, and works with Maintenance and Operations personnel to retro-fit and install.
- Studies electrical requirements, maintenance manuals and maintenance procedures to design and establish a Preventative Maintenance program to increase equipment up-time. Coordinates all Productive and Preventive activities and insures all maintenance work is satisfactorily completed as assigned.
- Assists Operations and Maintenance with troubleshooting and repairs of Pollution control Equipment in order to meet rules and regulations.
- Follow regulation as it applies to engineering design, construction, maintenance and equipment installation to assure compliance to safety and health requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND / B.Sc in Electrical Engineering Degree.
- 2 years minimum experience as a Planner in a steel plant or similar operation.
- Steel background is a must.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.

4.) Planning Engineer

Job Duties
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products of steel plant.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
