1.) Manager, Finance Business Partner – Technology
Job Summary:
• Responsible for alignment between the assigned business unit and Finance operations in order to ensure that specific expectations of the line of business and its employees are appropriately managed.
Job Role
• Act as the finance resource dedicated to the assigned functional area
• Provide support on planning, budgeting and forecasting process for the Line of Business (LoB).
• Provide insights and challenge the process to ensure that business plans are more commercially robust from initiation
• Guide and advise internal clients on financial implication of actions / decision
• Provide appropriate finance support to the LoB to create competitive advantage and enhance shareholder value
• Provide decision support to the LoBs from a finance perspective
• Collaborate with Finance Centres of Excellence (CoE) and Opco Finance BPs to develop and implement an integrated financial planning strategy
• Identify and mitigate risks to protect the MTN business from potential losses
• Ensure compliance to external regulatory requirements (e.g., disclosure and reporting)
• Foster a conducive customer-focused environment and MTN culture
• Liaise with divisional heads and managers to understand specific requirements relating to financial operations
• Support business as the first point of contact for various Finance operational activities including taxation, payment processing, etc.
• Assist Line of Business (LOB) head in budget estimations and monitoring
• Review commission calculations to ensure that computation is in line with the approved commission structure
• Prepare and update Line and Business heads with key analytics to enable decision making
• Obtain operational feedback on Finance services from LOB Heads
• Assist in gathering, collating and consolidating learning and development needs of the LOB for improving learning initiatives
• Provide assistance and support services as maybe requested from the LOB/employee on a case-to-case basis

2.) Senior Manager, Project Facilities Implementation
Job Summary:
• Oversee the management and implementation of facilities projects within timelines, budget and quality requirements of the project.
Job Role
• Liaise with user department to ensure buy in to final design for all facility projects.
• Efficiently measure implementations with acceptable standards and time lines
• Oversee the compilation of overall Facilities projects, based on user requirements and strategic objectives.
• Monitor and follow-up on overall activity and progress report, resolve high level issues.
• Oversee the successful handover of projects to project owners and formal close out reports for projects.
• Manage, direct and coordinate the activities of direct reports to ensure completion of project deadlines.

3.) Senior Manager, Financial & Operations Audit
Job Summary:
• Responsible for achieving excellence and effectiveness of overall internal controls environment through financial, process and program audits ensuring alignment with Internal Audit strategy. This is inclusive of overseeing the planning, and execution of independent audits focusing on the high-risk areas of MTN Ghana’s operations in order to minimize control and/or operational risks to the achievement of strategic objectives.
Job Role
• Lead the creation of a sub-functional strategy in line with overarching divisional goals
• Ensure effective alignment of sub-functional strategy by means of providing direction, structure, business plans and support
• Manage financial and process audit sub function within Internal Audit, ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls on key business process, quality of work, and audit reports and analytics, in line with internal audit standards and methodologies, with full adherence to the internal audit framework.
• Lead and manage complex internal audits on functional process (including Finance, supply chain, Legal and Regulatory, Sales & Marketing if applicable), review inconsistencies and advise on required changes/enhancements to improve technological risk management, control and governance processes, in line with company’s strategic objectives and best practice guidelines’;
• Assist internal departments to meet regulatory and compliance standards;
• Assess the likely/projected legal implications and ramifications of process and functional audits;
• Consolidate, review and sign off on all process audits for submission to top management and Audit Committee;
• Ensure cost effective operation of the process and program internal audit sub-function by driving excellence and effectiveness of the internal audit framework, which will increase internal controls and manage risk, which, due to the nature of the business, is changing constantly;
• Identify and drive where appropriate, opportunities for cost saving initiatives without compromising quality and effectiveness of the framework;

• Develop and drive an annual risk based internal audit plan with regards to process and program audits in order to ensure adequate quality assurance over risk management;
• Ensure that the process and program internal audit sub-function remains independent, objective and ethical;
• Provide expertise, advice and support to management by providing technical insights on new process risks;
• Ensure that best practices in internal audit are incorporated into the framework, driving cost reduction and effectiveness in risk management;

7.) Manager, Fixed Asset
Job Summary:
• Manage the fixed assets function within the Finance Division ensuring strict compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Job Role
• To ensure the optimum maintenance of the fixed assets register (FAR)
• To ensure the accuracy of carrying values in the general ledger, in accordance with IFRS, MTN policies and management directives
• Manage the Capital work in progress (CWIP) accounting from primavera module in partnership with Capital Project Division
• The take-on of all additions into the FAR, maintain accurate de-recognition of retired assets process, and to administer the disposal of fixed assets process.
• To closely monitor all impairment indicators for annual impairment reviews in line with IFRSs
• Periodic reconciliations of the FAR to the general ledger, perform regular analytical review of journals, maintain proper cost adjustment process on all subsequent costs
• To ensure timely and accurate depreciation runs for month/year-end
• To ensure annual physical counts of assets and tagging of new additions to fixed assets register (FAR)
• Liaise with Planning and fulfilment to track all move-orders from inventory to CWIP.
• Provide monthly support to the tax team by providing monthly new additions for capital allowance computation.
Manage Statutory and External Audits
• Analyze and investigate audit differences in line with audit instructions and SLAs defined
• Respond to audit queries based on necessary approvals obtained from Opco CFO and defined delegation of authority
• Prepare a list of unadjusted and adjusted differences
• Recommend changes in the existing policies and procedures based on the materiality of audit findings
Exceptions Handling and Reporting
• Perform root cause analysis for SLA non-compliance and take corrective action
• Identify potential sensitive issues and escalate it to the appropriate level
• Provide information to the Senior Manager on work accomplishments, problems, progress in work processes, individuals and team needs
