1.) Pharmacy Supervisor

 

Location: Gwoza LGA, Borno
Report to: Project Medical Referent
Report to (functional): Project Medical Referent
Area: Medical & Paramedical
Supervises: Pharmacy store keeper and medicine dispenser (s)
Working Hours: 48 per week
Contract Duration: Six (6)
Level: 7

Main Purpose
Ensuring general functioning of the pharmacy and supervising pharmacy supply chain processes in accordance with MSF standards, protocols and procedures, in order to ensure its efficiency and operating availability.

Accountabilities

  • Defining storage, stock management and supply processes, as well as hygiene and security procedures, tools, and protocols (controlling pests and rodents), implementing appropriate quality controls and records, in order to ensure good storage conditions (temperatures, humidity and light exposure) and availability of drugs and medical material, according to MSF protocols, national regulations and in cooperation with the logistics department.
  • Coordinating the delivery, reception and recording of international and local orders, in close coordination with the logistics department, updating stock files and informing line managers on their status (shortfalls, over-stocking, expiry dates), in order to permanently ensure security stock levels and ensure efficient management of stock.
  • Supervising orders of medical and drug material in order to ensure an efficient and appropriate consumption pattern under budget constraints.
  • Supervise the supply of drugs to patients, according to medical prescriptions, informing them on consumption patterns and keeping conditions in order to ensure their therapeutic progression
  • Ensure efficient supply to other pharmacies managed/supported by MSF according to orders and stocks and using cold chain when needed.
  • Monitoring and analyse orders of end user units in order to avoid ruptures of stock overstock and expired drugs.
  • Recording all items received and issued and report on drug consumptions and medical equipment dispensed according to protocols
  • Assisting in training of nursing staff regarding dispensing of drugs and their side effects and on management of drugs.
  • Supervising the management of medical supplies in end user units especially for controlled drugs and cold chain
  • Promoting and supervising rational drug use in end user units.

Requirements

  • Education Essential: Degree/ Diploma in Pharmacy.
  • Medical knowledge an asset. Possession of a valid pharmaceutical Licence.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of practical experience desirable.

3.) WATSAN Specialist

 

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Performs technical WatSan and Maintenance assessments in collaboration with the medical teams, identify needs, provide recommendations, and support to responses in his/her field of expertise.
  • Support in the management and follow-up of the recommendations and timeline of activities for all pro-jects (daily management site supervision) in his/her field of expertise in collaboration with the Project Logisticians (LTL/Log Managers). As well as defining the WatSan strategy for the Mission
  • Assist in the production of WatSan related documents (including engineering drawings, work and technical specifications, bill of quantities, terms of reference, tender documents and contract forms, etc.) for the projects according to MSF standards as defined by the Project and Technical Referents.
  • Assist in the quality control for all WatSan installations including the boreholes drinking water and works and material in collaboration with the Project Logisticians and Logistics Coordination team.
  • Provide day-to-day support to all projects in his/her field expertise for all WatSan related matters, in accordance with the Mission policies and standards as defined by the Logistics Coordinator, WatSan Regional Technical Referent and HQ Referents.
  • Ensure the compliance to the Mission policies, procedures, protocols in his/her field expertise.
  • Support in the administrative part (contract management, WatSan market assessment, renewal documentations, training needs and opportunities, etc.) for the WatSan related activities in the Mission.

Requirements
Education:

4.) Medical Doctor (Jigawa)

 

Location: Jahun, Jigawa
Job Type: Open Ended contract.
Hours: 208 working hours per month and roster flexibility required.

Probation Period: Two Months

Main Purpose

  • Provide outpatient and / or inpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients / beneficiaries health conditions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose and prevention. Carry out outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting MSF protocols.
  • Keep the patient and / or his/ her family informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, checking they have understood.
  • Follow up the evolution of the hospitalized / IDP patients, through daily visits , consultations and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following MSF protocols, deciding whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments - in collaboration with other doctors- and informing their family about the patient’s evolution.
  • Check and control the rational distribution of medicines and equipment under his/her responsibility and take care the quality, disinfection and sterilization of the medical material. Assure general compliance with standing hygiene standards.
  • Participate in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data, checking its validity and informing the line manager or project coordinator about any problem or complication of the patient’s illness, medical error and monitors the proper functioning of the department, equipment or material.
  • Ensure ongoing training of the medical/paramedical multidisciplinary team in order to optimize the quality of care.
  • Knows and ensures all MSF medical protocols are followed and implemented, checking universal precautions are followed at all times and reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control. Ensures professional confidentiality is respected.
  • Manage the team under his/her direct responsibility according to MSF HR policies and procedures, supervising their performance, organizing and scheduling shifts and rotations, directly participating in emergencies and on calls if necessary.

Requirements
Education:

5.) Medical Doctor (Pool)

 

Location: MSF OCA, Zamfara Secondary Health Care Project
Employment Type: Part-time
Job Type: Medical Doctor’s Pool - Daily Workers with possibility of Contract work as needs arise

Main Objective and Responsibility of the Position

  • Provide mainly inpatient medical care to paediatric patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF guidelines in nutrition, lead and pediatrics g, and following MSF values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients/beneficiaries health conditions. Will also provide consultations in the outpatient staff clinic.

Description of the Responsibilities / Activities

  • Apply medical knowledge and skills in diagnosis and prevention. Carry out outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting MSF protocols.
  • Provide quality health care to staff and their dependents registered in the staff clinic.
  • Proceed to prompt referral of patients/staff from staff clinic for secondary health care when needed.
  • Ensure absolute confidentiality of medical data and patients’ information.
  • To keep the patient and/or his/her family informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, ensuring caretakers have understood and consent to the plan.
  • Follow up the evolution of all ITFC and IPD patients, through daily visits, consultations, examinations, and rehydration reviews, prescribing the necessary treatment following MSF protocols. Decide – in collaboration with other doctors – whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments and inform their family about the patient’s evolution.
  • Check and control the rational distribution of medicines and equipment under his/her responsibility and take care of the quality, disinfection and sterilization of the medical material. Assure general compliance with accepted hygiene standards.
  • Participate in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data, checking its validity and informing the line manager or project coordinator about any problem or complication of the patients’ illness medical error or the proper functioning of the department, equipment or material.
  • Ensure ongoing internal training as necessary of the medical/paramedical multidisciplinary team in order to optimize the quality of care, as well as participation in personal internal or external training available.
  • Participate actively in mortality reviews, clinical audits, continued medical education programmes, lead and nutrition medical activities, antibiotic stewardship and infection control activities and other medical related activities of the project.
  • Know and ensure all MSF medical protocols are followed and implemented, checking universal precautions are followed at all times and reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control. Ensure professional confidentiality is respected.

6.) Nurse

 

Location: MSF OCA, Zamfara Secondary Health Care Project
Job Type: Nurse’s Pool - Daily Workers with possibility of Contract work as needs arise

Main Objective and Responsibility of the Position

  • Providing nursing care, treatment and follow-up of patients, according to doctors’ prescriptions, protocols applied in service and universal hygiene standards/precautions, in order to ensure the quality and continuity of care for the targeted population and in accordance with MSF values and principles.

Description of the Responsibilities / Activities

  • Knowing, promoting, implementing and following up the universal hygiene standards/ precautions, bio-hazard prevention and infection control, security rules and other protocols and procedures in the medical premises and ensuring high standards of hygiene of his/her working environment. Respecting medical secrets and confidentiality at all times.
  • Organizing and carrying out care and treatments according to medical prescriptions, and assisting during consultations, daily rounds and other medical procedures. Participating in health education of the patient (and family) when necessary.
  • Identifying Sexually Gender Based Violence victims and referring them to the medical team so they can receive the necessary treatment. Knowing and is aware of the importance and appropriate use of the Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) Kit
  • Ensuring patients are properly received and installed and that those with lack of autonomy are assisted, especially regarding their feeding, personal hygiene, movements and comfort. For ER and OPD nurse, ensuring triage of patients in waiting areas, wards or during emergencies, detecting the priority acute/emergency cases, carrying out first aid care and referring them to the doctor when necessary
  • Sending material to be sterilized and recuperates it from sterilization
  • Carrying out admission, surveillance and follow-up of patients (i.e. assessment of the evolution of their state of health and the identification of any emergency situation or deterioration
  • Carrying and supervising administrative procedures and documents (fill in patient’s files, forms, consumptions, statistics, registers, health files, etc.), ensuring an appropriate written/oral handover, and reporting any problematic situations and cases that may arise. Participating in data collection and keeping doctors/supervisors informed.
  • Participating in the department-related pharmacy and medical equipment control and maintenance (quality and its functioning, storage conditions, follow-up of expired drugs inventories, stock takes of medicines and material at every team changeover ensuring no material is taken out of nursing area/wards without prior authorisation, etc.)
  • Perform cleaning and minor maintenance for biomedical equipment used. Following the user manual and protocols and alert supervisor in case of malfunctioning.
  • Supervising and training nurse-aids, nutritional assistants, cleaners and other related staff under his/her supervision, ensuring teamwork and adherence to all appropriate protocols and procedures.

MSF Section / Context Specific Accountabilities
The following specific accountabilities are relevant to all nursing environments (inpatient, outpatient, therapeutic feeding program, IPD etc):

  • Ensure the working environment is well organised with correct supplies and equipment available (for outreach activities ensure this is packed into the car in advance of departure)
  • Observe IPC procedures: follow the 5 moments of Hand Hygiene and appropriate glove use; cleans and disinfects materials after each patient use; ensures the contaminated waste (including needles and other sharps) is separated and managed according to waste segregation protocols.
  • Ensuring medical and nutritional care is properly delivered to the patients according to MSF protocols.
  • Ensure all invasive procedures are completed following asceptic techniques.
  • Ensures all patients have anthropometric measurements completed, and if appropriate, ensure the patient is registered for therapeutic feeding program.
  • Collection and updating of patient admission and exit numbers in working area on every shift.
  • Orientate patients and caretakers to the hospital environment including delivering health education, information about the patient’s condition, and discharge teaching.
  • Identify children who are eligible for vaccination and refer as appropriate
  • Ensure medication is stored and administered correctly according to guidelines (open vial policy, cold chain, Nursing Guideline etc).
  • Monitors and records the consumption of medical materials, drugs and supplies, and participates in preparing the daily order in collaboration with nursing team supervisor.
  • Ensure the resuscitation kit is prepared with all necessary stock
  • Ensures no material is taken out of nursing areas without prior authorization
  • Reports any problematic situations and problems that arise to nursing team supervisor.
  • Participate in all trainings delivered to the department and make an ongoing effort to maintain and update medical knowledge and skills.
  • Be flexible to cover the other nursing departments as the needs of the project require.
  • Collaborate tactfully and professionally in the team environment with nurses, doctors, patients, caretakers, and all other team members.
  • If supporting patient referral outside Anka, monitor the patient condition throughout the transportation, then hand over all information to the referral nurse. Also ensure to prepare equipment prior to departure and return it at the end of the referral.

The following specific accountabilities are relevant to therapeutic feeding program:

  • In outreach sites : Carry out consultations of children by undertaking a complete clinical examination looking for associated pathologies, and arranging appropriate prescription according to MSF protocols (including referral for admission or emergency management).
  • Ensure all TFC children undergo appetite testing according to protocol and all TFC specific paperwork, forms are used and completed correctly
  • Provide required vaccinations.

Requirements (Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge)

7.) Learning and Development Officer

Main Duties and Responsibilities
General Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the implementation of all learning and development activities in the project.
  • Explaining existing policies linked to L&D to employees in the project, escalating queries to the project HR Manager.
  • Follow up on all the Evaluations process, End of the year, probationary, with the proper encoding.

Internal Learning activities:

  • Responsible for performing the initial editing and formatting changes to any training material developed by departments.
  • Ensuring the organisation (i.e. training Location, equipment, lunch) of training/workshops in the project as directed by the HR manager.
  • Gather information on the learning activities (Evaluations, feedback from participants) and report problems, success and constraints to HR manager also including recommendations for change (if any).
  • Responsible for ensuring the implementation of improvements for learning and development activities as instructed by the HR manager.
  • Collating a catalogue of internal trainings conducted in the project and forwarding to the Deputy HRCO to update the centralised catalogue, follows up on the validation of training courses by relevant coordinator before the training takes place in the project.

External Learning Activities:

  • Maintaining records of training applications local and international, working closely with the liaison officer in co-ordination to follow up on the progress of visa applications.
  • Organize and coordinate the logistics and administrative activities needed for learning activities such as distribution materials, equipment requests, transport arrangements, distribution materials.

Minimum Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • Minimum of Two (2) years cumulative cognate experience in a HR/Learning & Development role.
  • Desirable previous working experience in MSF or other NGO in developing countries

Languages:

8.) Medical Activity Manager

 

Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria
Permanent position: subject to probationary period

Job Description
Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Provides full support for all aspects of the SGBV project of MSF in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and actively promotes the project mission amongst all clinic staff Organizing and carrying out care and treatments according to medical prescriptions, and assisting during consultations, daily rounds and other medical procedures. Participating in health education of the patient (and family) when necessary.
  • Collaborates with PC, MHAM, Nurse counsellors, supervisor and others to define strategic priorities for the clinic staff and the SGBV program.
  • Coordinate, assess and supervise the proper functioning of the activities in the clinic (medical, counselling, psychological, social…), according to MSF protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure good communication and collaboration with the other PHC SGBV project members (admin, logistic) and other partners (NGO, social welfare …) working on patient support
  • Checks that all administrative procedures related to patients’ follow-up (patient file, medical certificate, registers, follow-up card, discharge, referral letters ...) are correctly carried out according to MSF procedures.
  • Validate data into the MSF defined database, correct and analyse all the data related to the activities from the clinics. Generate any daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.
  • Coordinate and monitor the daily working plan of the team under her/his responsibility (absent personnel, vacations, tracking leaves, etc. Prepares monthly work schedules for all staff.
  • Conduct and manage daily case reviews with staff and weekly general team meeting.
  • Ensures that the team follows confidentiality format all times especially with authorities and when referring a patient to other actors. Regularly check on patient files and archives systematically.
  • Ensure that Medical Certificates are correctly drafted by the MD and given to the patient following MSF legal frame.
  • Support the pharmacy storekeeper to manage MSF field pharmacy and medical equipment in an efficient way.
  • Perform the international order in collaboration with the country pharmacist.
  • Participate in medical meetings and collegial cases reviews as needed.
  • Collaborate with Mental Health Activity Manager and ensure activities are according to planned strategies and support in place.

  • Assess expat/national staff health on the field, informing the Medco about eventual acute medical problems, accidents etc.
  • Supports the social worker in his/her daily tasks.
  • In collaboration with the Medical Coordinator and MoH partners, defines, implements and monitors medical activities, according to MSF project plans, standards and protocols. Participates in exploratory missions, situation assessments (defining medical operational priorities when needed) and the development of the project policy, annual plan, budget review and project proposal and reports to donors. Ensures regular contact with MoH and other local medical actors.
  • Plans and supervises, in close coordination with the PC and the Admin, the associated processes (recruitment, training, induction, performance evaluation, development and internal/external communication) of the medical staff of the project in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required and improve staff capabilities.

Main Purpose

  • Participate to medical/humanitarian emergency assessment or explo-action or intervention et Provide outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients / beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, Guidelines, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients/beneficiaries health conditions during emergency explo or intervention.

Accountabilities

  • Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose and prevention.
  • Carry out outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting MSF protocols.
  • Follow up the evolution of the hospitalized/IDP patients, through daily visits , consultations and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following MSF protocols, deciding whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments
  • Check and control the rational distribution of medicines and equipment under his/her responsibility and take care the quality, disinfection and sterilization of the medical material.
  • Participate in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data, checking its validity and informing the line manager or project coordinator about any problem or complication that may arise l.
  • Ensure ongoing training of the medical/paramedical multidisciplinary team in order to optimize the quality of care.
  • Knows and ensures all MSF medical protocols are followed and implemented, checking universal precautions are followed at all times and reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control.
  • Manage the team under his / her direct responsibility according to MSF HR policies and procedures, supervising their performance, organizing and scheduling shifts and rotations, directly participating in emergencies and on calls if necessary.

Be member of NIMERT team:

  • Participate actively to any emergency assessment ,explo-action or intervention engaged by NIMERT team in an emergency settings
  • Be a key person in emergency pool, well trained and available
  • Carry out the assessment with support of his supervisor by respecting MSF standard guidelines and protocols
  • Participate in pre rapid assessment briefing, in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data, in writing explo report
  • Ensure that emergency pool members are trained in order to optimize the quality of the explo or intervention.
  • Detect any need of training among the team and propose to the supervisor;
  • Assist to every training or meeting organized for capacity building
  • Have knowledge in tropical medicine and medical/humanitarian diseases outbreaks response like Measles,Cholera,Meningitis,Nutrition crisis,IDPs,yellow fever,VHFs,malaria,vaccination campaign (Ensures vaccination according to age and protocol or vaccination strategy) etc;
  • Ensures that all members of emergency pool promote and maintain confidentiality regarding all medical information for beneficiaries.
  • Identify and ensure prompt referral of patients if needed and according to the security context during the explo-action or intervention.
  • Checks that hygiene rules to protect emergency team and patients/beneficiaries are followed during emergency intervention
  • Ensures a correct and fluid communication with the NIMERT team and other projects
  • Intervenes in support to other members of emergency pool when needed
  • Liaise with MH/ SGBV/HP team for the treatment of patients during intervention if needed.

Requirements
Education:

  • MBBS Certificate, Desirable certificate in Tropical Medicine and Emergency Response Training (ERT)

Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience minimum as a Medical Doctor or in clinical work and work before with MSF or another NGO.
  • Desirable in tropical medicine and medical/humanitarian outbreaks response knowledge, or post-registration experience in Public Health, obs and gynae, pediatrics, infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS/STDs, TB, general practice, general medicine or minor surgery.

Languages:

10.) Project Medical Referent (Medical Team Leader)

 

Location: Sokoto Town (MSF OCA, NOMA Project)
Job Type: - Full time (Indefinite)

Main Objective and Responsibilities of the Position

  • Participate in defining, planning and monitoring medical activities and programs in the field in accordance with MSF protocols as well as coordinate human and material related resources needed in order to ensure the quality of care provided by MSF.

Description of the Responsibilities / Activities

  • In collaboration with the Project Coordinator and the rest of the team, the Medical Coordinator and MoH partners, defines, implements and monitors medical activities according to MSF project plan, standards and protocols. This implies the following:
  • Be responsible for medical data collection, analysis and reporting to the Medical Coordination in the capital, to ensure a proper monitoring of the program
  • Participate in the development of the project policy, annual plan, project proposal, budget review and project reports to donors.
  • Participate in exploratory missions / situation assessments and define medical operational priorities when needed.
  • Ensure regular contact MoH, and other local medical actors.
  • Monitor activity in the different medical specialties, as well as providing technical support to medical personnel in the field through self-knowledge and policies to help MSF medical activities in the field. In this sense, includes monitoring and ensuring compliance with the protocols of MSF medical activities.
  • Coordinate, supervise, coach and support medical team members’ performance to improve the medical components of the project and ensure compliance wi th MSF protocols and standards as well as MoH protocols.
  • Plan and supervise, in close coordination with the Project Coordinator, the associated processes (recruitment, training, induction, performance evaluation, development and internal / external communication) of the medical staff of the project in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required, improve people capabilities.
  • Supervise an efficient management of the MSF field pharmacy and medical equipment, in conjunction with the Logistics area, and monitor consumption follow-up and preparation of drug orders to avoid stock shortages and provide drugs at all circumstances. ; also consider program directions and protocol changes.
  • Implement the health policy for international and national staff, providing all prophylactic and preventive necessary measures, structures and emergency plans, managing any medical evacuation in order to ensure MSF staff health.
  • Supervise medical team: Pharmacy Technician, Nursing Activity Manager, Mental Health Supervisor, WatSan Supervisor, Data entry Supervisor

MSF Section Specific Accountabilities

  • MSF-OCA is supporting the Noma Children Hospital in Sokoto city since March 2014. The project aims to support the hospital in clinical case management of Noma patients as well as through a specialized international or national surgical team which undertakes a two week surgical intervention 3 – 4 times / year.
  • This project targets patients from all of the country with a special focus to the 4 north-western states of Nigeria (Sokoto, Kebbi, Niger and Zamfara) for the outreach program.

The Project Medical Referent (MTL) will be expected to carry out the following:
Program planning / Strategy / Implementation:

  • Ensure critical program review and contribution in project evaluation and strategic discussions.
  • Participate in the CMT meetings and together with the PC give an update of project activities to the CMT members
  • Participate in developing Noma Annual Plan in accordance with the relevant MSF Policies and guidelines and contribute to the SCP/ACP project proposal documents.
  • Translate the medical policy and objectives of the project proposals into a work plan together with the medical team
  • Supervise the medical and surgical activities in the Noma Children’s Hospital Sokoto. This includes translating MSF-OCA policies & standards into implementation strategies, guiding the quality of the activities and giving meaning to the MSF principles and values.
  • Review and revise strategic documents as per departments on an annual basis.

Project Medical Program / Medical Quality:

  • Support, coordinate, train, and coach the project medical team. This includes supporting the team in managing the different medical / surgical components: surgical schedule, pre- and post-operative care, nutrition rehabilitation, laboratory, WatSan, mental health and outreach activities.
  • Responsible for clinical performance of all medical team members in the project
  • Overall responsible for adherence to MSF protocols including surgical protocols and to immediately bring any issues to the attention of the PC and (Deputy) MedCo
  • Coordinate specialist surgical team surgery planning: rotations, daily schedules, etc.
  • Ensure medical quality of all the medical and surgical activities according to MSF protocols and guidelines
  • Ensure follow-up of IPC measures in the hospital, SIPCA, hand-hygiene protocols, MSFAT improvement plans are made and implemented.
  • Ensure medical incident reports (MIRs) are done and reported in a timely fashion.
  • Follow-up with increased awareness among project medical team on person-centered care and the implementation of exit surveys/interviews as a measure of improved quality of medical care.
  • Networking with the MOH and other actors to better understand medical-humanitarian impact and respond to needs
  • Collaboration with the MOH management team to ensure smooth running of the medical program within the Sokoto Children’s Hospital.
  • Medical focal point for liaison and communication with the specialist surgical team, (Deputy) MedCo, PC and the medical team.
  • To maintain contact between MSF and the Noma children hospital authorities to initiate and to stabilize contacts and to stimulate co-operation

Medical Supply / Orders / Pharmacy:

  • Responsible for the 3M, 7M and 11M medical forecasting exercise for the project together with the medical coordination team and the international medical order
  • Responsible for ensuring proper medical supply budgeting during the SCP / ACP process and review and adjust together with PC on a monthly basis in the BCR
  • Responsible for ensuring the routine departmental filling of consumption data in the consumption tool, TSR analysis on a monthly basis, reviewing of project pharmacy orders from warehouse.

Data / Reporting:

  • Supervision of quality data collection of noma patients into the HIS and the Noma data tool and ensure quality data improvement of the patient files.
  • Ensure data analysis of program data is done on a routine basis.
  • Ensure collation of monthly medical reporting per department and submitted within the first week of new month to PC and (Deputy) MedCo
  • Contribute to the six monthly reporting done at project level for the coordination submission to the Federal Ministry of Budget and National planning and the Sokoto State Ministry of Health

Staff Health:

  • Responsible for national and international staff health at the project level. End responsible is the MedCo.
  • Implements staff health policies, contributes during reviews and highlights challenges on staff health to the (Deputy) MedCo / MedCo support.

Human Resources Management:

  • To assist the PC in updating the Job Profiles and Descriptions of the medical team
  • To support, supervise and coach the medical staff in collaboration with the PC
  • To be involved in hiring new medical staff together with HR department
  • To advise the PC regarding the performance of the medical team members before they have mid-term and end-of-mission evaluations.
