1.) Machine Specialist - Brewing
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job type: Full-time
Job Purpose
- Opportunities exist for highly skilled and result driven Machine Specialist in our Plant located in SouthSouth Nigeria reporting to the Brewing Engineer.
- The successful incumbent will maintain, calibrate, repair equipment, optimize plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Amongst other duties, the Machine Specialist- Brewing will;
- Optimize Plant and Equipment Availability and Reliability Maintain a safe, Healthy and Risk-Free Working Environment
- Provide Specialist Technical Support and enhance Machine, System and process capabilities
- Optimize Maintenance Team Performance
- Maintain, Repair and Optimize Plant and Associate Devices
- Optimize Process Performance
- Facilitate Problem Solving
- Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation/Systems
- Operate plant and process equipment effectively
- Calibrate equipment according to good maintenance practice
- Apply the VPO principles and practices

Qualifications
The occupant of this position should possess:
- Minimum of HND / B.Eng or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 1-2 years as Process or Maintenance Artisan on high speed packing lines
- Computer Literate
- Systemic and Analytical problem-solver
- Good leadership Potential
- Good understanding of modern maintenance practices and maintenance system
- Influencing ability with regards to sound maintenance
- Good knowledge of the Brewing production processes and technologies

2.) Manufacturing Systems Manager

Job Description
- An exciting career opportunity exists for a highly skilled and result driven Manufacturing Systems Manager in Ilesa Plant reporting to the Technical Services Manager, Ilesa Plant.
- The incumbent will be accountable for the management and execution of the Control and Automation function within the brewery.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures strategic alignment to tech supply strategy and global technical standards (GTS) for automation
- Accountable for the implementation and execution of the Control and Automation block of the maintenance pillar
- Provide process control engineering expertise to the line teams
- Implement and support all relevant C&A GOP's
- Deliver value through well managed and maintained systems
- Deliver value through continuous improvement within the brewery
- Act as plant interface to Solutions
- Strategy functional alignment to the business needs and the manufacturing way
- Alignment to the business strategy set by ZBS (Zone Brewery Support) and Solutions
- Partnering with zone maintenance and tech supply to define C & A roadmap for the brewery
- Assist in defining capital investment required to support the strategic plan as defined by ZBS.

- Accountable for system BCP and DRP plans for the brewery
- In partnership with Solutions, develop and implement approaches to hardware and software obsolescence
- Accountable for manufacturing system security
- Contribute to the sharing of best practice between breweries
- Ensure adherence to antivirus and support patch requirements
- Vendor Management with support from ZBS/Solutions to enhance the effectiveness of C&A vendors
- Validation of system integrator effectiveness and quality. Necessary service level agreements to be in place with vendors
- Provide single point of contact between brewery and solutions
- Facilitate team problem solving and decision making
- Lead the manufacturing systems team in a manner that engenders ownership, empowerment and team interaction
- Lead the development of systems’ team goals and ensure these are communicated and understood by team members
- Comply with and administer Zone people cycle
- Ensure training needs analyses are conducted and training plans developed for team members
- Ensure appropriate competencies are developed in the team, and ensure cross skilling occurs within the systems team
Qualifications
Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:
- HND / B.Sc in Electrical Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering
- A Master's Degree will be an added advantage
- 3+ years in Controls & Automation experience.
Must be conversant with:
- Networks and servers
- Microsoft server software
- Manufacturing Execution systems (MES)
- PLC systems
- Manufacturing processes
- S88 batch control standard
- Field instrumentation and networks
- SCADA systems.

3.) Operator - Environment

Job Purpose
- Opportunity exists for an Operator - Environment at International Breweries Plc Port Harcourt, reporting to the Environment & Safety Manager.
- The Operator will operate the Biological Treatment System (BTS) plant and the execution of quality control checks and analyses, including coaching of other team members and supporting the Process Artisan in carrying out asset care activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Amongst other duties, the job holder will be responsible for the following:
- Shift Based Production, Performance and Processes
- Interpret and implement plan for shift
- Monitor processes on shift for the BTS, WTP and Water abstraction plant
- Ensure process quality and productivity
- Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Co-ordinate autonomous maintenance and cleaning
- Achieve BTS PTS compliance targets Comply with VPO safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, and legislation
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
- Specialist Analysis
- Carry out specialized and highly specialized quality analyses for which the shift based teams are responsible
- Record the results of analyses on appropriate information systems and communicate results where required
- Conduct analysis of results to identify problems and improvement opportunities timeously

- Conduct required and requested quality audits, completing the appropriate documentation and communicating the results

- Conduct audits of analytic procedures to ensure compliance with COT guidelines, and identifying corrective actions required

Job Description
- Career opportunity exists for a highly skilled and result driven Stores Controller in Port Harcourt Plant reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager.
- The primary role of the Stores Controller is to ensure effective stock and resource optimization within the stores so as to provide an acceptable service level to the customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure integrity through management of staff and a stock control system
- Manage adherence to stores business processes to ensure governance and optimum inventory
- Work with all departments to critically assess and analyze stock holding to minimize operational risks while reducing stock asset value
- Work with buyers and vendors to ensure that purchasing opportunities to reduce stock costs are realized
- Do purchases of stock and non-stock items as well as payment of Vendors and Contracts
- Develop and maintain a healthy vendor partnering program
- Manage the tool store to optimize required tool and free issue consumable holdings and to ensure that tools remain in a good condition
- Work with the finance department on stock management projects and to ensure that the required financial governance is in place

5.) Inventory Clerk - Packaging
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description
- Career opportunity exists for a highly skilled and result driven Inventory Clerk - Packaging in Port Harcourt Plant reporting directly to the Raw Material Controller.
- The role of the Inventory Clerk is to ensure that all governance processes and documentation are followed and completed to ensure that any and all physical movement of inventory is correctly reflected in SAP.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage adherence to stores business processes to ensure governance and optimum inventory
- Goods are GRN'd on receipt from suppliers and coincides with delivery note
- Deviations from delivery notes are escalated
- Invoices are GRN'd when received
- Execution and adherence to FEFO standards
- Compliance to all stock count procedures & policies
- Place orders with suppliers for raw materials required for production
- Reconcile & balance stock issues to brewing on SAP and PQT systems
- Resolve SSC queries & clear GR/IR reports
- Do ICE control checks weekly & compile ICE documents as per checklist.
