1.) Customer Operations Analyst - Crypto
2.) Product Operations Analyst - Crypto
3.) Product Operations Analyst - Stocks

1.) Customer Operations Analyst - Crypto

 

Locations: Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria

Description

  • Our Customer Operations team is at the heart of Chipper, as it is the first point of contact with our customers and the team that knows most intimately the struggles and hopes of customers. Most important is the team’s ability to respond to customers with empathy and work alongside customers to solve their problems.
  • The Customer Operations team also works closely with the Product Operations, Product & Engineering, Legal & Compliance, and Growth Marketing teams. It’s about much more than resolving tickets. It’s also about helping us find solutions that will prevent customers from having problems in the first place and help us deliver on the promise of Chipper working like magic.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Providing customer support to the best of your ability by talking directly and honestly with our customers, and developing a deeper understanding of their needs with the primary focus being our cryptocurrency product.
  • Communicating with our customers through a variety of different mediums, based on our customers needs; whether that be through calls, social media platforms, email or in-app chat.
  • Proactively identifying patterns in the user frustrations and expectations of customers, seeing where we can change our processes, tools or product to make their lives easier.
  • Working with the Compliance team to act as the first line of defense to help spot and investigate trends.
  • Dealing with crypto-related queries; assisting users move funds to and from our platform and helping customers get a prompt response and resolution.
  • Understanding, prioritising and escalating our customers’ feedback and feature requests to the product teams. Plus, being the first point of call for customer complaints to make sure that they’re treated fairly and can share their thoughts and concerns.
  • Familiarity with the customer operations role will allow you to expand your knowledge to other areas of customer operations and the company in general. This ranges from the Product teams to the Compliance teams etc!




Qualifications You Will Need

  • 1-3 years in a customer service role, ideally within financial services, telecommunications, and preferred experience with cryptocurrency
  • Technical understanding of how most major cryptocurrencies function
  • Experience handling customer inquiries via email, chat, or other written communications
  • Strong written English communication skills (other languages are helpful)
  • Be self-driven. You should be self-motivated and enjoy a lot of independence. We’re a dedicated, hardworking team that is collectively motivated
  • Have a global mindset and be tolerant of others. We're still growing but we are a company of many cultures and backgrounds
  • Be comfortable with asynchronous conversations and an understanding of your coworkers roles
  • Be open to working some nights and weekends on a rotating basis
  • Experience working in multicultural teams
  • Experience handling customer inquiries via email, chat, or other written communications

2.) Product Operations Analyst - Crypto

Job Description

  • Our Product Operations Analysts sit within the Operations team and at the heart of Chipper.
  • Product Operations Analysts help keep customers happy by proactively resolving customer issues and acting as a point of escalation for more complicated customer support inquiries.
  • The ideal candidate will be someone with a sound understanding of and strong interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
  • Most important is your ability to respond to customers with empathy and work alongside the customer support team to solve their problems.
  • The Product Operations team also works closely with the Product and Engineering teams. It’s about much more than resolving tickets. It’s about helping us also find solutions that will prevent customers from having problems in the first place and help us deliver on the promise of Chipper working like magic.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Providing support to the Customer Operations team with customer issues escalated in relation to our cryptocurrency product
  • Proactively identifying patterns and trends of cryptocurrency issues. Seeing where we can change our processes, tools, or product to make our customers lives easier
  • Creating, documenting and updating processes and procedures related to our cryptocurrency product
  • Effective communication and relationship building with external vendors and service providers for our cryptocurrency product.
  • Testing new cryptocurrency product features and documenting findings
  • Conducting training within the Operations team to contribute to knowledge building on cryptocurrency
  • Working within our systems to resolve ongoing cryptocurrency product-related issues until they can be resolved by the Engineering team
  • Working with the Compliance team to act as the first line of defence to help spot and investigate trends
  • Familiarity with the product operations role will allow you to expand your knowledge to other areas of customer operations and the company in general. This ranges from the Product teams to the Compliance teams, etc.




Qualifications You Will Need

  • Prior working experience in the cryptocurrency or blockchain space
  • 1-3 years experience in solving difficult customer problems related to cryptocurrency, ideally at a financial services organization or Fintech
  • Experience working cross functionally with Engineering, Product, and/or Compliance Teams
  • Experience handling customer inquiries via email, chat, or other written communication
  • Be self-driven. You should be self-motivated and enjoy a lot of independence. We are a dedicated, hardworking team that is collectively motivated
  • Have a global mindset and be tolerant of others. We're still growing but we are a company of many cultures and backgrounds

  • The ideal candidate will be someone with a sound understanding of the stock market investment platforms and a stock market enthusiast.
  • Most important is your ability to respond to customers with empathy and work alongside the customer support team to solve customer problems.
  • The Product Operations team also works closely with the Product and Engineering teams. It’s about much more than resolving tickets. It’s about helping us also find solutions that will prevent customers from having problems in the first place and help us deliver on the promise of Chipper working like magic.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Providing support to the Customer Operations team with customer issues escalated in relation to our stocks product.
  • Proactively identifying patterns and trends of our stocks product issues. Seeing where we can change our processes, tools, or product to make our customers lives easier.
  • Create process or troubleshooting documentation and train other operations team members to allow for smooth customer service for known issues related to our stocks product.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and triage bugs related to our stocks product, providing a high-quality experience for our customers.
  • Enhance technical support processes and workflows, improving the current support level that will help us action customer-facing issues faster and more efficiently.
  • Effective communication and relationship building with external vendors and service providers for our stocks product.
  • Testing new stocks product features and documenting findings.
  • Working within our systems to resolve ongoing stocks product-related issues until they can be resolved by the Engineering team.
  • Working with the Compliance team to act as the first line of defence to help spot and investigate trends.
