1.) Video & Movies (Digital Entertainment) Product Lead

 

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • Be responsible for managing Airtel Digital Entertainment product management initiatives.
  • This role reports to the General Manager, Digital Innovation & Content, will collaborate with cross-functional internal/external teams starting with the OTT Content team in collecting/defining requirements and coordinating with the Technology teams to deliver such requirements in a timely and user-friendly product for customer use both pre-launch and in-life.

Key Accountabilities

  • Performance accountability for the Digital Entertainment product portfolio from product key performance indicators (Usability, User Experience (UX), Availability, Reliability)
  • Lead product strategy definition for the digital entertainment product Lifecycle (from Inception To Launch To sunset of services that no longer meet consumer needs).
  • Perform and oversee research activities, including market analysis and competitive analysis
  • Partnering with other members of the Digital Product Management Team, and other stakeholders, in establishing Roadmaps, Forecasts, Budgets and KPI’s
  • Lead the development of Product Requirements Documentation and User Journey Maps for receipt by our Platform Development Teams and cross-functional delivery organization,
  • Facilitate the prioritization of requirements across competing priorities across the product lines, in partnership with Product Line Managers and other key stakeholders
  • Lead the effort alongside the engineering and digital product team to set development priorities and define a product roadmap
  • Contribute to the development of annual and quarterly financial plans
  • Attends story grooming sessions, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives in order to rapidly answer any questions the team may have on requirements
  • Communicating customer requirements in the form of stories, acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements, and collaborating closely with the team on an ongoing basis to provide guidance and direction
  • Ensures that the implementation is focused on deliverables that bring the highest business value and represents the voice of the customer.
  • Create workflow diagrams and wireframes for planned products
  • Integrate Product Development Requirement with available technical capacity such as portals and devices
  • Establish A/B Tests, oversee successful execution of Acceptance Test Plans and work with IT to ensure that all test environments are properly configured and available for each project.
  • Monitor and analyze new Digital Entertainment related Technology trends and innovations, make recommendations to management on their potential applications to the business and use Data Analytics to inform product development and improvement decisions.
  • Seek and entertain strategic partners to deliver world class Digital Entertainment solutions that capture market share, drive optimal customer engagement and increase revenue.
  • Manage digital entertainment applications and ensure content is collected, organized and displayed on the SDP, Airtel touchpoint platforms or any other platforms in a way that It is relevant, up to date at all times and easily accessed by customers.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience building digital platforms as a product manager
  • Deep understanding of digital entertainment landscape locally and globally
  • Experience managing technology and quality assurance teams towards delivery of digital consumer products.
  • Digital Media, Content Services, Digital Distribution or other related experience strongly desired
  • Direct product management work experience at a Telco/Entertainment startup/Tech startup/Gaming Startup such as a major video or broadcast, and/or for a digital platform who offer consumer services in this market/region
  • Industry experience and relationships in the Movie, Music, Gaming, Telco or Media verticals
  • 8+ years of experience in building product platforms in startup, Telco and media verticals.
  • Strategic thinker, analytical orientation with hands-on “get it done” attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

2.) Head, Home Broad Band Fixed

Purpose of the Job (Brief)

  • To lead the definition and delivery of Fixed Home Broad Band Solution development initiatives.
  • The role holder will have full ownership of the fixed broadband GTM strategy, execution and delivery.  Product management and development, Pricing, competitive analysis and delivery.

Key Accountabilities

  • Commercial lead for the development of Airtel Fixed Home Broad Band products and proposition from concept to launch, taking responsibility for conceptualization , scoping, implementation and operationalization
  • Pricing Design and Strategy - Create price designs, including development of price strategies, structures, models and tools, for products, customer segments and customer bids
  • Scoping of the technical and operational feasibility of bringing product proposition to market. Documentation of detailed business, process and functional requirements for product concepts to support product and proposition launches
  • Work with the IT and network teams to develop a working understanding of the technical deliverables required to meet the business needs and ensuring that any the proposed solution will be fit for purpose and commercially viable.
  • Analyze competitors’ cost, price and offerings in order to enhance Airtel Home Broad Band propositions
  • Lead and deliver Fixed Home Broadband strategy, steering the direction of the requirements for new products and services, product enhancements and service improvements
  • Identify new business opportunities for the portfolio (range extension, new product/service offerings, new channels to market and develop business proposals for address these opportunities.
  • Monitor product performance on a monthly basis and work proactively with internal stakeholders to maximize the success of products in terms of unit sales, margin contribution, operational performance, customer satisfaction and retention
  • Working with appropriate Segment team and marketing communication teams to ensure appropriate ‘go to market plans’ are in place for all new product/proposition initiatives
  • Analyze the daily, weekly and monthly reports, region wise and at pan OPCO level to understand the trend of customer demands and acceptability inclination
  • Work with all relevant stakeholder in the definition, impact assessments and development of new products. Stake holders include but are not limited to IT, Networks, Legal and Regulatory, Marketing, Customer service, Supply chain, External vendors, HR, and Regional sales teams
  • Manage fixed home broad band products and services on a profit and loss account basis, using financial performance data to make individual investment and withdrawal decisions, proposing and implementing changes required to optimize performance through:

3.) Strategy & PMO Executive

The Role Will Essentially:

  • Provide administrative, strategic assistance and financial analysis support to the Executive in all business related matters – including preparation for various reviews, external speaking assignments etc.

4.) Passive & Active Partner Governance Engineer

 

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

About the Job

  • Responsible for Passive & Active Partner Governance, follow up on major escalated failures until resolution, Control the implementation of all job orders that take place within the network, generate daily reports of failures exceeding defined KPI, and follow through on all customer complaints

5.) PS Core & MPBN Operations Manager

6.) Manager, MPBN Planning

About the Job

  • This function is expected to act as the representative for business, technical and functional requirements in IP Packet backbone solutions to support both Mobile and Enterprise services.
  • The function will define the optimal topology of the IP core network to meet a premium service level agreements and industry architecture for next generation IP networks;
