1.) New Product Assurance Analyst

 

Location: Lagos

Purpose of the Job (Brief)

  • To ensure efficient integration of new and modified Voice, SMS, Data, VAS and Financial Services products/tariffs/promos/services onto the Billing system/Network with 100% revenue assurance.
  • To identify risk inherent in new and existing Voice, SMS, VAS, Data and Financial Services products, thereby minimizing loss and maximizing revenue when products are launched

Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure RA/Quality Assurance testing of new Voice, SMS, Data and Financial Services products/services/Tariffs/Promos for 100% revenue assurance.
    • Review new Voice, SMS, Data, VAS and Financial Services, identify process gap and report for action.
    • Ensure all areas/issues raised at product concept review is captured in the final approval document and tested during service roll out UAT.
    • To prepare and conduct ATP (acceptance test plan) in conjunction with software/application developer or vendor
    • Escalate and follow up on identified revenue impacting issue for resolution.
    • Identify all conflicting business rules of all Voice, SMS, Data, VAS and Financial Services
    • Prepare risk analysis document on all Voice, SMS, Data, VAS and Financial Services
    • Inform all stakeholders and Product owners of identified risk
    • Prepare test cases of all Voice, SMS, Data, VAS and Financial Services/ Products/Tariffs/Promos for Implementers
    • Prepare User Acceptance Test Document for all Voice, SMS, Data, VAS and Financial Services products/tariff/promos

  • Coordinate and participant in end-to-end UAT tests before roll out of all Voice, SMS, Data., VAS and Financial Services/ Products/Tariffs/Promos
  • Respond to any escalated issue during change process.
  • Coordinate and participate in post roll out UAT/Regression test after service roll out.
  • Coordinate all efforts to ensure that all Voice, SMS, Data, VAS and Financial Services/ Products/Tariffs/Promos roll out meets stipulated launch date with 100% accuracy and no loss of revenue.
  • Ensure termination of Voice, SMS, Data and Financial Services/ Products/Tariffs/Promos offer at specified date and carry out UAT to confirm termination.
  • Ensure dropping of eligibility and whitelist offer IDs upon expiration of validity for all Voice, SMS, Data, VAS and Financial Services/ Products/Tariffs/Promos
  • To conduct test on upgrade/integrations on the SDP/HLR/CCN/network nodes in conjunction with Technical team
  • To ensure all Voice, SMS, Data, VAS and Financial Services tariffs configured on the billing system are in line with management's approval and bills 100 % accurate.
  • Escalate issues found contrary to approval to appropriate authority and follow through for correction.
  • Ensure all escalations around Voice, SMS, Data, VAS and Financial Services (from Fraud Management, Technical, CC teams) are treated and dispatched. Generate incident report as required.
  • Coordinate immediate UAT on reported Voice, SMS, Data and Financial Services cases to confirm status of issue and escalate to respective unit for resolution/sealing off loopholes (where necessary).
  • Respond to Audit /Fraud esquires.

Requirements
Education & Experience:

  • First Degree in a related discipline.
  • A professional qualification in CISA would be desirable.
  • A Master’s Degree would be desirable.
  • Minimum of 4 years telecommunications experience (with minimum of 2 years in Revenue Assurance).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to pay attention to details; Accuracy and precision
  • Knowledge of all company’s products and business rules governing the products
  • Knowledge of Network and technology for all products
  • Revenue Assurance skills- Reconciliation, investigation and reporting

2.) Channel Manager

 

Location: Edo, Nigeria
Job Type: Full-time · Mid-Senior level

Job Purpose

  • To sustain and enhance targeted gross revenue and gross acquisition in respective SME business by effective implementation of planned sales and channel management strategies.

Key Accountabilities

    • Identify and recruit suitable channel partners who will drive the effective acquisition of SME customers
    • Ensure adherence of channel partners to all guidelines as this will help ensure their profitability and sustain demand. Responsible for the implementation, acquisition & retention strategy for prospective and existing accounts in the zone
    • Grow the usage of Corporate products in the states
    • Drive the sales of Mobile Advertising products directly and through channel partners
    • Create exceptional opportunities to sell non voice products such as data, leased circuit, dedicated internet etc.
    • Create opportunities to run presentations of Corporate products to SMB /SME all segments in the Zones, directly and through channel partners
    • Responsible for SME/SMB account development and relationship management process for accounts in the channel guided by the signed service level agreement.
    • Maximize sales through effective execution and implementation of placement and distribution strategies
    • Encourage and develop opportunities to have Airtel presence in all RETAIL & SME COMPANIES in the zones.
    • Visit a minimum of 3 channel partners per week. Such visit should be targeted as ensuring availability of POS materials, reviewing performance against target, reviewing product knowledge of field sales agents and taking corrective actions as required
    • Facilitate and coordinate the recruitment, training and development of Field Sales agents

  • Constantly ensure field sales employees are optimally deployed by advising channel partners and dealers on SIM Cards and other products billing on SnD portal, route planning, territory management, etc.
  • Monitor the activities of competition in our target market and customer segment and develop or recommend counter measures to win competition
  • Co-ordinate with learning & Development and marketing for product, process and behavioral trainings of field sales employees and channel partners
  • Work with service delivery and support bill delivery and collection in the zone
  • Accountability for ensuring that agreed target are cascaded across channel partners and field sales agents
  • Responsibility for managing performance variances and reallocating targets as required
  • Ensure appropriate branding is carried by all active outlets within the zone.
  • Identify visibility opportunities for Airtel brand within the zone
  • Presence at relevant events, ensuring expected benefits are realized
  • Reduce debt portfolio and churn in your segment
  • Carry out all other functions as directed by the SME Sales Manager

Education & Experience

  • A University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related course.
  • 3-5 years preferably in FMCG, Consumables & telecom.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in managing sales channel or Key Accounts.

3.) Project Manager - OFC Deployment

 

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Type: Full-time · Mid-Senior level

Job Purpose

  • The role holder will Plan, Direct and Deploy all Identified Network Projects and Programs to ensure High Speed of Time to Market.
  • This role must guarantee synergy, effective and efficient resource utilization, cost optimization and Return on investments to deliver on Business goals and +1 Network experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support fiber rollout to ensure strict timelines are met and quality delivery.
  • Coordinate 3rd party vendors and ensure quality fiber deployments.
  • Coordinate active equipment installation and integration to the LIVE OFC network.
  • In depth knowledge of Fiber Optics cabling and ability to supervise OSP projects.
  • Strict adherence and full implementation to set or established technical specification by the operator for OFC Deployment.
  • Strict adherence and implementation of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) policies of the company. Restoration of site to its original state after the project and most importantly keeping the environment clean after working.
  • Daily, weekly submission of snag reports during implementation which will form part of the criteria to be used in benchmarking contractor’s performance.
  • Generation of site Audit reports after the project completion as a tool for cutting down on expense i.e. jobs not executed in the PO would not be paid for.
  • Conduction of both the pre & final civil acceptance test in line with the industry standards.
  • Determine scope, budget and schedules for OSP projects
  • Coordinate project schedules
  • Create and implement technical inspection and quality assurance procedures.
  • Develop, design tools and methodology for fiber optic cables
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to secure ROW and other approvals.
  • Adhere to the departmental process which is aligned with the PMI process for all site materials delivery and integration.
  • Adhere strictly to regulatory and all statutory permissions required for site rollout
  • Suggest new ideas for Improving Fiber rollout and OFC subcontractor performance to ensure regular follow-up and objective measurements.
  • Track and Follow-up on material delivery and usage on the routes
  • Ensure and coordinate various activities with Supply Chain Management for Warehousing & Dispatching of network element to specific locations.
  • Developing a win-win relationship by setting common goals and objectives.

Education & Experience

  • University Degree or HND in Engineering.
  • Professional qualification in Project Management Techniques.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Fiber Optics Deployment experience. 6-8 years’ experience in the Telecom sector
  • At least 2 years of project management experience in similar role.
  • Good knowledge of transmission networks.
  • Experience in Fiber Optic Deployment, troubleshooting and general understanding of Fiber Optic cable design and theory.
  • Experience of managing multiple complex Network projects simultaneously
  • Evidence of successful project delivery with wide geographical spread
