1.) Project Controls / Service Lead

 

Location: Kwale - Site, Delta

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The project controls Manager is responsible for managing project controls deliverables on multiple projects and providing mentoring and training to a team of project controls schedulers, planners, and estimators. The lead will be accountable for liaising with the client, EPC disciplines, and providing guidance to the team
  • Review contracts requirements for project execution; organize the preparation of the Technical Document Register
  • Verify the scope of work, budgeted quantities, total deliverables, the format of delivery, time schedules, plant layout, stress analysis, isometrics, and bill of materials.
  • Monitor and control project Man-hour requirements during project execution; identify variations between Contract and proposal. Take corrective action as necessary. Create Manpower charts for task assignments, and establish target completion and proposal. Take corrective action as necessary.   • Providing budget development support.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports depicting progress, safety, issues, and forward plans
  • Cash flow development and reporting.
  • Interface with client representatives, conduct internal staff meetings, and ensure the progress of the project in accordance with the schedule, allotted man hours, and budgeted costs. Coordinate with projects and planning departments on schedule-related issues.
  • Interface, provide guidance and technical support to all National staff including assisting with training.
  • Monitor the preparation of project control documents by following company standard procedures. Ensure compliance with Company's ISO Quality procedures. Coordinate Internal and client audit requests: facilitate audit procedures of engineering systems within the department.
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Requirements
Required Qualification:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any other science related discipline. An MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree will be an added advantage.

Required Experience:

  • Candidate must have at least 12 years post-graduation experience as an oil and gas EPC work experience.

Monthly Net Salary Range
N700,000 - N800,000 dependent on experience.

2.) Electrical Supervisor

Functionally reports to: Electrical Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise the execution of electrical works, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, verifying that works are correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and in the planned time frame.
  • Support the electrical subcontractors or the direct hiring personnel ensuring the feasibility (availability of drawings and materials) of the works
  • Promote safe works practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected
  • Ensure the fulfillment of the project quality and contractual requirements
  • Verify and confirm the availability of drawings and materials to plan the efficient execution of the works performed by subcontractors or by assigned direct hiring personnel
  • Assist subcontractors or assigned direct hiring personnel for the correct interpretation of the drawings, providing support in the solution of technical problems
  • Supervise the execution of electrical works, checking that machineries/tools are properly used and maintained
  • Supervise the execution of mechanical completion activities related to electrical works, making sure that all punch list items in scope are closed
  • Prepare and coordinate the detailed programs for the assigned activities

3.) Instrumentation Quality Control Inspector

 

Location: Kwale - Site, Delta
Functionally Reports to:  QAQC Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
  • Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
  • Checks cable laying and cable identification.
  • Performs all relevant loop checks.
  • Updates as built drawings.
  • Performs punch-listing operations.
  • Checks power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system.
  • Performs visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating and material for connection.
  • Performs tests of continuity, insulation resistance.
  • Calibrates safety valves.
  • Calibrates instruments.
  • Checks installation of instruments.
  • Performs tests functional instruments.
  • Checks pneumatic signal connection.
  • Checks fiber optic cable.
  • Performs test communication functionalities.
  • Verify special processes and the relevant workers’ qualifications.
  • Witness the tests, controls and inspections carried out.
  • Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.
  • Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan

Requirements
Required Qualification:

5.) Expeditor / Procurement Specialist

 

Location: Kwale - Site, Delta
Functionally Reports to:  Procurement Manager
Supervises: Procurement Officer

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Communicating with management to evaluate various supply vendors and assess the quality of delivered supplies
  • Placing purchase orders as necessary, ensuring they’ve order the right supplies for the job and maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Facilitating the flow of materials between various parties and departments and checking job cost reports for mischarges and other inconsistencies
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, maintaining schedules for each ongoing project, assigning required crews for services such as electrical, plumbing and drywall
  • Streamlining interdepartmental communication, often working as a liaison department heads under the direction of the administrator or Superintendent
  • Looking for solutions to vendor errors, budget limitations and other problems as they arise, finding ways to save money on the purchase of goods and requesting budget increases as necessary
  • Working with Project Managers to collect relevant information about job status, putting together a cohesive and clear presentation and adding meeting details to the calendars of the attendees
  • Performing clerical duties, maintaining accurate records and adhering to established procedures, policies, instructions and guidelines

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines.
  • Monitoring construction processes, and providing training and team building sessions are required.

7.) Fabrication Quality Control Inspector

 

Location: Kwale - Site, Delta
Functionally reports to: QAQC Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and COMPANY HSE procedures in all activities
  • Carry out work in compliance with COMPANY values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed
  • COMPANY priorities and objectives, COMPANY standards and procedures and best industry practices
  • Treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality
  • Review Welding and NDT Documentation issued by the Contractor and Subcontractors
  • Witness Welding and NDT activities based on the Quality Control Plan (ITP)
  • Witness, review and approve specific NDT techniques, as applicable
  • Validate Contractor NDT personnel by witnessing and monitoring their performance
  • Follow up the NDT activities and ensure proper records (NDT/inspection records follow-up)
  • Review and interpret radiography films
  • Review and approve the Welding & NDT inspection reports issued by the Contractor on a daily basis
  • Monitor NDT subcontractor and Contractor inspectors qualifications and performance
  • Participate in the issuance or resolution of Non-Conformance reports, as applicable
  • Identify critical activities related to Welding, to facilitate construction progress (i.e., anticipate bottlenecks & potential delays; and propose solutions to improve productivity)
  • Implement continual improvement processes
  • Participate in the weekly meeting and prepare weekly reports
  • Engage contractors and applicable third-party organizations with a professional approach. Promote and maintain effective working level relationships
  • Understand, and ensure compliance with COMPANY technical specifications.
  • Ensure that contractor processes and procedures are properly and effectively implemented
  • Ensure that the latest revision of project quality documentation is available, and that records of product and process conformance are maintained in accordance with the document and record control requirements.
  • Identify and report non-conformances and facilitate NCR close-out.

Required Qualification
A candidate with good University Degree.

Required Experience:

  • Candidate must have at least 5 years post-graduation experience
  • Candidate must be certified in welding and NDT inspector.

Monthly Net Salary Range
N350,000.00 - N450,000.00  (dependent on experience).

8.) Construction Supervisor (Civil)

 

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports: Executive Management
Functionally Reports to: Deputy Construction Manager
Supervises: Civil Site Work crew

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervision of construction works executed by contractors to ensure Department’s assigned projects are constructed in accordance with the approved Scope of Work, engineering design, QHSE standards & specifications
  • Review and provide comments on construction method statements, material submittals, commissioning procedures from start of construction of projects till completion and handover to end users
  • Responsible as performing authority for Permit to Work by the Contractors.
  • Supervise the site construction/installation of work of relevant engineering disciplines of assigned construction/epic contracts and ensure that the work is carried out in safe manner and in compliance with scope of work, approved engineering standards and specifications.
  • Participate in constructability reviews as and when required.
  • Review contractors’ construction plans and schedules including method statements.
  • Coordinate and control the mobilization of contractors to sites including site lay down areas.
  • Facilitate issuance of necessary permits and gate passes when requested by contractors.
  • Check, inspect and test completed project work and/or arrange appropriate pre-commissioning inspections and tests.
  • Initiate mechanical completion certificates.
  • Ensure and follow up completion and clearance of all punch list items.
  • Review and endorse red marked up and “as built” drawings.

  • B.Sc in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University or Diploma in relevant engineering Discipline with extensive construction related experience.

  • A minimum of Eight (8) years’ experience in relevant construction and installation activities in projects of oil & gas industry.

10.) Senior Project Control Engineer

Job Objective(s) 

  • Experience is required in developing, monitoring, and updating of integrating project plans and schedules; estimating and forecasting of project costs; and providing analyses to support claims negotiations
  • This individual will also support the development of further capabilities, improvements in and staff training.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Track actuals against budgets, conduct variance analyses, carry out reporting of project financials,  and respond to queries from project teams on performance issues.
  • Assist in the preparation and issuing of client monthly invoices and monitoring accounts receivables
  • Assist in monitoring and managing scope changes; maintaining change and risk registers, and preparing fee proposals and contract change orders.
  • Assist in the preparation of a WBS and integrate it with the project schedule and budget.
  • Support the project teams in assessing claims for revenue generation
  • Support the project teams in change order administration
  • Oversee the updating of the project schedules by schedulers to ensure the timely transfer of schedule information.
  • Review actual progress versus planned progress to determine trend before issuing it to the project manager for final review
  • Assess the impact of critical path and near-critical activities and report the same to project management.
  • Perform all other project planning and controls activities
  • Independent project progress reviews and audits.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College in Engineering, Construction Management, Management Technology, or any other Science-related course.

Required Experience:

  • 8 - 10 years of relevant experience on EPC projects in the oil and gas industry.

Salary Range
N500,000.00 - N600,000.00 monthly net (dependent on experience).
